honestly I don't care. It seemed like crap and even the man-children who normally blindly eat this trash up didn't like it. also this show is aimed at adults, look into things for half a second before saying something next time
>this show is aimed at adults
It is, but you just know some bad parent out there is letting there kid watch it.
And it's likely not just happening once.
>more relatable and soulful
Why are you old enough to have related to 20 something losers and not 30 something parents? Have you not started a family yet, anon?
I watched half of the first season and quickly realized it was a reskinning of Regular Show.
They made Rigby a female and gave them a kid.
I don't know what JG was thinking.
A direct spinoff would have been better than a loose spinoff.
Thats not really a fair comparison. I mean Solar Opposites is a very different show from Rick and Morty but had alot of similar elements. But you wouldnt call it a "spin off" Same with American Dad. You might not like it but its their style and not everyone is a creative genius and can make totally different shows back to back
It's because they had to be more creative when the characters are animals living in a park. I guess the "humour" of RS was that it was exactly the thinking and dialogue train of stoner millennial dude nerds but said through the mouths of a bird and racoon. Close Enough is just these actual near 40 millennials just... paying rent and raising a kid. Honestly nobody wants to see that. JG just got old.
>First season is actually somewhat funny and a decent spiritual successor to regular show >2nd season is super unfunny and full of shitty political messages out of nowhere >Show gets cancelled
Meh, I liked some of it like the episode where the main couple had a day off and just used it to catch up on all their fricking chores because that's EXACTLY what being a young parent feels like. Not gonna miss the show that much though. It was fun while it lasted, but I'm not about to start a petition to bring it back.
Which of the big 2010-2012 cartoons was the biggest plague for TV? >Adventure Time
Hired Rebecca Sugar, gave her enough connections to pitch her own cartoon, we get Steven Universe, literally the most troony of all cartoons >Adventure Time again
Pendleton hired Noelle Stevenson to work on his Bravest Warriors flop, she got enough clout to get her own show through industry connections, she made She-Ra which is chock full of trannies and dykes (not exaggerating, there are at least 5 canonical lesbians, 3 trannies etc) >Gravity Falls
Allowed Alex Hirsch (soi) to have a lot of pull at Disney, gets his bishit girlfriend a job, she gets to have her own cartoon where she does a self-insert character, the main characters are bishit Dominican with ADD and a green-haired lesbian
no more woke trash for little kids
only conservative anime for them

I'm not sure tranime is the answer. Anime is fine for normal kids, but autistic kids become even weirder with it.
Was it woke? The main white guys wife is Latina and the 40 yr old greek guy's relationship with a sexy 20 something Asian was portrayed positively
Haven't seen season 3
>can't see racial demoralization even when rubbed in h@s face
Take your meds.
Hey it's Matt Walsh
That sucks. I'm gonna be really pissed if Discovery turns around and gives more money to Zack Snyder for some bullshit though.
The only good film Zack Snyder made was Sucker Punch.
Season 1 was funny but regular show was way better. Weird when the kid version I'd more relatable and soulful

Your opinion is Close Enough

never heard of it so i guess i dont care
Idk why but every single animated character Jason Mantzoukas plays is immediately obvious by his character design that its him
He plays the same character in everything. He's insufferable.
millennial cal-arts garbage, nothing of value was lost. gay ass generation
same with regular show
Too bad, it was alright
>First season is actually somewhat funny and a decent spiritual successor to regular show

Good

So is this where everyone realises JG Quintel is an unfunny hack and the peak of his humour is now-horrifically dated 2009 internet catchphrases?
He doesn't appear to have anything planned.

That link is posted on his twitter.
I guess he's just going to make art now and sell it, pretty based.
I just hope to God that band his wife is in is a joke.
What genre does banging rocks and shaking wind chimes fall under?

For me, it's gross out Futurama
>souless cal-arts woke bullshit cancelled
Good
Why do these shows all look the same?
When you draw cartoons you tend to develop your own style based on stuff you already like.
Aside from the penis noses, I enjoy Quintel's art style.
Same thing with Genndy Tartakovsky, Matt Groening, Seth Seth MacFarlane, Walt Disney, etc.
