If my experience with mobile mecha games taught me anything, then no.
It's never worth it.
thats nice but expect EoS after 6 months
Anime gacha never seem to make it in west
>imblying getting into the west is the problem
>it's a shitty tower defense of all things
Game actually is pretty fun if you like code geass, I'm playing it for the translated story for sure
>story
Is story finished?
Not yet. It just wrapped up an arc taking place between seasons this chapter that focused on the MC, Suzaku and Kallen. R2 begins later this month, on the 27th.
Expect shoddy translations, if Final Gear is anything to go by
Never really said it would be good translations
Shit translations are the least of FG's problems.
Komoe changed pilot's upgrading process.
Komoe changed regular currency income.
Komoe added paid battlepasses and completely screwed banner order, to push meta characters first one after another.
The whole economy and player growth was stunted and skewed in favor of paying real world dollary doos.
And on top of that.
Bugs, bugs, bugs, so many fricking bugs, every update, every single update there were bugs, some were not fixed STILL, and of course those bugs are EXCLUSIVE TO GLOBAL, because of their frickery with the code and economy.
Your game gonna get RAPED, MILKED and FRICKED OVER in a lot more ways than just fricking translation.
I've been enjoying the story. MC is pretty good, so I'll be following the English version
Tower defense isn't for everyone though.
>arknights but shittier level designs
Frick man the chinese are now the ones being original
Depends on whether the "base" version is still in service or not. If the base version is no longer actively being developed, any other version will run out of content and have to EoS.
>localized by the Final Gear chinks
Frick me, are they gonna add Final Gear-tier battlepasses and VIP crap in?
>komoejoy
>raping and milking the title dry before abandoning it
Of coursh!
So I read from the other thread that I should roll for Kallen and Lancelot in the start. Other than them, is there any banner that I should save up for? I heard that Cornelia's Gloucester is pretty good.
I'll repost what I said there first then answer
Assuming the launch roster is the same and they don't put it further ahead to catch up:
Reroll for Kallen. Of the launch roster, she has the most longevity, still useful for me over a year later, and her Glasgow is extremely useful for units you want to deploy as cheaply as possible.
Cornelia and Euphie are really good on launch, and are not bad, but theres other characters who can fill in that team roll. Suzaku is so-so unit, but the Lancelot he comes is the best launch KMF. C.C. is the worst of the launch units because barrier generation is just not as good as stealth.
Which brings me to the non-4 stars at launch.
3 star Jeremiah is one of the most important launch units to get, as he generates cost on deployment.
Diethard is 2 star, max him out because stealth casting is broken.
You'll want to have Villetta (3 star) or Kewell (2 star) in the game's early life, because they have the Anti-Air skill, to deal with helicopters in the early content where your range KMF options are limited.
Euphie is the best support in the early game, but you don't need her until you get to Faction restricted Challenge events. Until then, 3 stars like Milly and Shirley will be more than enough (And easier to max out early)
Characters are divided into 6 types. They have names, but they correspond to chess pieces so its easier to call them as such.
Knight: Cost generation units. Usually cheap to deploy, and have one of 2 ways that they generate cost: Over time and on deployment. An example of this is is Chiba, who adds cost to your pool at fixed intervals while on the field or Jeremiah, who just adds in as soon as they are deployed. Also have a shorter than average cool down to redeploy after withdrawing them.
Bishop: They support. Instead of damaging enemy units, their basic attacks heal your units.
Rook: Defense units. While most non-supports have a block of 1, meaning they hold 1 unit at a type while fighting, the average rook has a block of 3, which can be stacked higher with KMF that have inherent block values (Usually the ace stuff like Lancelot, Guren, etc.)
Queen: Your main offensive units, usually doing high damage with their basic attacks.
King: They have a variety of effects depending on the unit like buffing, debuffing, etc. Shorter redeployment time like Knights, but not always cheap. These effects can also range from the first Zero Lelouch unit's ability to instantly reduce the HP of units within his attack range on deployment by a percentage of their max HP, or Kirihara's ability to buff all currently deployed characters of the Black Knights or JLF faction. (Both of these characters are not launch units but remain some of the best in the game currently, so don't skip them)
Special: Characters who don't fit into the usual 5 categories. Sometimes they are a mix of 2 types. Eventually the game introduces Push and Pull mechanics as part of this type.
Notable non-launch units
Zero Lelouch from the first story update, if not added to the base roster. One of the best units in the game, period. On deployment, he instantly reduces the enemies HP within his attack radius by a percent of their max HP. He is insanely good, sill regarded as an SSS tier unit by the Japanese players. Hes permanent, so you won't ever miss him, but why wait?
The game is launching in September, so on the chance Halloween event is done in October ahead of schedule, Halloween Lelouch. As I mentioned with Diethard, Stealth is busted. He casts Stealth on deployment on him and 3 ally units within his attack range. And unlike Diethard, he recasts it too at fixed intervals, so at max level its always up essentially. Again, one of the best units in the game. And unlike regular Lelouch mentioned, hes limited so don't miss him.
Guren Kallen and the Knights of the Round event. These are all permanent units, but they all bring new KMF toc the game. Guren is solid, and all three of the KoR 4 stars KMF are very good, particularly Mordred.
I don't know how the event schedule will go since the game launched in May in Japan, but don't skip New Years either. Both NY Kaguya and NY C.C. are very good.
If the schedule doesn't change, Swimsuit C.C. from the second JP is pretty good for a while if you like C.C. I personally skipped that banner in JP (I am an unashamed Kallengay and she was free) but people who liked C.C. and want to use her, this is solid.
Accomplice C.C. (Her dressed as Zero) is good for Black Knights teams. She starts out limited but got added to the general pool for Anniversary. I used it a lot early but she fell off.
And for 3 stars, Kirihara is one of the best buffers for Black Knights teams and doesn't get surpassed until Anniversary Kallen. He gets added in the general pool, so you don't need to rush, but hes fantastic if you build around Black Knights.
Hope some of these help.
Thank mate!

I'M GONNA ROLL FOR ALL THE KALLENS
You're in luck then, because shes currently the character with the most units on the Japanese side. Some of which are event units that are free.
>Komoe
Oh no no no
At least DD's safe from them...for now. I don't know if I can handle Komoe raping SRW like that.
