Widen your horizons. Read old comics that you've never read before. Read some manga. Or some euro shit, I dunno. There's a lot more out there than one American industry currently destroying itself, you don't need to let that ruin your day.
Aside from what suggests look for original content on the internet. It's never been easier to be an independant creator either for animation or comics online. Explore and see what you can find that fits your tastes.

We've had dark times before and we've pulled through.
This for everything but comic stores. Remember Disney's dark ages, remember when superhero films aside from Batman and Spider-Man had little cultural relevance, remember cartoons being phased out for live-action. These things come in cycles

This unironically. Every medium's best work is created before it becomes a real business. The worst thing that ever happened to comics was MCU.
There's a real irony in a business model that used to function off of the pocket change of imaginative children and currently funds itself via nostalgia and imagining this will continue an further.
To me, this past decade of Entertainment has been a Cash Grab where everything you loved has been squeezed dry and fricked into something unrecognizable, a mummified alien of what once Was.
What comes next is NEW ORGINAL CONTENT from people who are pouring their souls into it. Like that guy who wrote Dune and nobody wanted to publish it and decades later we are thankful there is space opera besides sTaR wArS and sTaR kEk; we are about to witness shit emerge that will make historians bemoan the 2010s-20s as the era of Entertainment Drought and not even the Library of Congress wants to hold onto the terabytes of Transformers movies or outright bans the quasi-racist joke material in Shang-Chi (a movie I was hoping would redeem Didney, but holy shit was I wrong)

We're speedrunning cyberpunk with media made by AI while humans do hard labor as contractors. Meanwhile the clathrate gun has fired and the AMOC is halting and the jet stream is breaking which will cause unprecedented floods, droughts, famine, and storms that drive an ever-increasing horde of refugees towards the wealthiest countries until the whole shebang collapses under the sheer weight of bodies crammed into the remaining safe places with food and electricity.
