I find it funny that fans of the game don't like this show, given that the creators apparently really liked the games and worked closely with the bethesda. Usually the TV show creators make a point of telling everyone how they despise the original game and never played it or read about it. This is the bar, apparently. Your adaptation will be a good one as long as you don't make it's number one selling point your hatred of the original. What a world we live in.

In the East there's no NCR-like faction that can hunt super mutants to extinction like there is in the West. They were created through exposing humans to FEV so you should be able to get them anywhere FEV exists, which is everywhere because of the pre-War government. I'm fine with most of the show and I only replay Fallout New Vegas and the phone ports of 1 and 2 on airplanes. But the NCR not splintering to due to overexpanding and dying to some nuke bullshit was a load of crap. I have 0 expectations for them to treat New Vegas right.

It's just New Vegas fans.
