>Connie, let’s get married
>wtf no bro we’re only 16, I need to frick more guys first and then settle with you
Honestly how else was Steven expecting her to respond?

Sucarose was off her meds in that season
I think it's obvious what happened. She was upset because she was bawd shamed for riding the wiener carousel, so she wrote her feelings into her show.
Why are all the recent male MCs pathetic cucks?
>Steven
>Dipper
>Finn after season 4
>Marco
Feminist writers
>why do men written by women not seem very manly
bigthink.jpg
Women write manly men all the time, after all that's what they are attracted too. This is very much a feminist/woke thing.
Feminists aren't interested in portraying masculinity. They write boys as sensitive pussies.
>Marco
Wasn’t Star the pathetic cuck, and later Tom?
I feel like all of the characters in that show became cucks at some point or another
Women writers & pathetic men behind the scenes like Adventure Time's storyboarder who hated Finn.
Dipper and Finn canonically got pretty ladies to be into them, their shows just didn't focus on that as much as their failed romances
Steven's an idiot. Everyone knows the only way to get a woman to commit to you is to have other women on your dick and the easiest way to do that is to use a female friend as a controlled opposition.
He should have "accidentally" fricked Pearl and "accidentally have been walled in on" by Connie two months before asking her. She would have said yes on the spot and have abandoned any thoughts of riding the wiener carousel.
Always remember its a race to the bottom, fellas.
never watched the show but is this guy really meant to be 16? he looks 12 at a push
He's half alien, so he ages slower. He didn't get his first bit of facial hair until he was 14, after seven years of basically not aging.
i still look like a 15 year old going through puberty even though i’m about a decade older
>gets mad at him when he's uncomfortable with her willingness to fricking die for him (before he knew he can rez people, and even then it's not ok), she can't contribute without relying on his powers anyway
>refuses to marry him to experience a life she was already trying to throw away for his sake
I don't get how you can be ready to die for your romantic interest but not marry them, as if that's a more serious commitment.
Along with the whole "you're so much more interesting then me" shit and taking his stuff, it starts coming across that Connie is just an adrenaline junky living vicariously through Steven to escape her mundane existence.
At the end of that episode, she learns not to do that, because it's bad. So not marrying someone when you're not even old enough to drink is a logical extension of that.
Sworn to the Sword was early S2, and the lesson is to let her fight alongside Steven hinging on his ability to shield her from harm.
Later he simply can't, watch the rest of the show+future. Actually, don't.
>his only takeaway from that episode is literally "well she fights alone at first but then steven stands beside her and they fight together"
She already treated him like her , like he belonged to her by demanding 50% input on his big decisions as well as taking his stuff
Wtf are you on about? You mean when she was mad at him for leaving? Lion is not Steven's pet. He's a wild animal. He belongs to no one. He is not Steven's stuff. And Rose's sword was gifted to Connie. Before that she was using Pearl's sword.
>I don't get how you can be ready to die for your romantic interest but not marry them, as if that's a more serious commitment.
That might actually be a high time preference and lack of foresight thing, which impacts a lot of people. Most people aren't necessarily crazy enough to directly gamble on death but if you put something causal in between with a high near term reward they'll ignore the permanence of death. Meanwhile marriage is an straight up ask for a long term commitment that requires low time preference to appreciate the continous and compounding small rewards of a stable relationship.
It rare for adults to understand this, let alone actual children.
It's obvious She only liked him for the magic and adventure he offers
best girl always says yes
hahahaha i love puu's art
you snooze you lose cuckie
just marry the unstable raised by three lesbians kid Connie, ungrateful b***h
>Don't watch show
>Complain about things that dont happen in it
Not a lot going on in your life huh?
Honestly it's Connie character assassination. Early Connie was well aware that the special and extraordinary in her life was provided solely by Steven, that he was her gate way into an ultra interesting life. Then later Connie took that for granted, like she was as important to the galactic drama as her literal divinity in human flesh boyfriend. Pre ego Connie would have jumped at the opportunity to cement herself into Steven's life with marriage.
You homosexuals really can't fathom that Connie likes Steven for Steven. No. There must be some ulterior motive behind why she spends time with him. She can't just find him cute and funny and want to date him because of that.
Connie is literally BUILT for being a wienerbawd. I’ve never seen a character that looks so much like she cheats and hooks up with random guys.
>you don't wanna be stevonnie with me?
Nig the entire point is that Garnet brainwashed Steven into fusion being the solution of his problems
This is why the road trip its so important. Garnet , Pearl and Amethyst damaged the boy beyond repair in the long run
The funny thing is Jasper did something similar with Lapis in season 3, but while she bit the bullet for her mistake, Steven gets let go easy. And the show never mentions this parallel because they're too dumb or too cowardly to do so.
Future is shit.
