Dexter, Dee Dee and Mom aren't so bad, but the Dad is the most jarring. He literally doesn't even look like the same character.
To me, this guy is Dexter's father. Not the ultra-simplistic mess Genndy thought was good.

Schizo actually predates Chud by about a couple years, I've seen Cinemaphile using it as far back as 2016.

They'll mention how Cinemaphile and /misc/ are toxic hellholes that consist of nothing but basedjaks and racism. But we aren't really that better. You don't expect to see a genuine, full blown German nationalist socialist. The word used to mean something, but it's been so misused that nobody takes it seriously anymore.
That's what happened to "schizo". It went from "crazy lunatic" to "guy who says something I don't like", so now we ignore it.
I never had a problem with the redesigns. It was the writing that I didn't like.

The redesigns were the smallest fucking problem. If the redesigns were accompanied with the writing quality being equal to that of Season 1 and 2, people wouldn't have mind it too hard. But the show's writing and comedy quality declined hard in Season 3 and 4 - and THAT'S all on Savino. And when the writing quality is bad, you start noticing the art quality's decline.
Savino defenders always go for the "but Genndy did the redesigns" as if completely invalidates any other criticism Savino gets for the show's decline in quality.
