recently switched to some jap iqos shit, it looks moronic. although i tried regular cigs again and damn did i forgot just how bad it smelled on my clothes and hands
it should be illegal to cast models as smokers
if your character is an alcoholic chainsmoker then his skin better look like fricking shit and have eyebags and be reddish
clean 1 year here you just need to believe for a couple of month that you're having a major lung issue like COPD or lung cancer, quitting comes really fricking easily then
Easy. You don't. If you need to ask a question about it you will never quit. There is no magic solution or general rule. You either control it or don't. The best thing you can hope for is being forced to quit
rationing and taking it slow, don't make such a big deal about it
i was near a pack a day 3 years ago and now a pack lasts me month or more and ill probably just stay there, though my next step will be something like telling myself "2 cigarettes a week"
so if you smoke 5 cigarettes a day now then just tell yourself your going to cut it to 4, and do that for two months then say 3, then three months later 2 a day
but don't take on this daunting task of QUITTING SMOKING TOMORROW
tell yourself you will start now and in a year "quit"
I grew up being told that smoking was disgusting ugly, that it would make me repulsive, etc etc. And I'm not trying to cope here, I'm fully aware that I'm addicted and that smoking will kill me, but >turn 16, start smoking because europe >confidence shoots up almost immediately >girls become more attracted to me >nearly every girl I've been with since has actively told me they find it attractive >cigarettes are a cheat code for chatting up girls on nights out
etc etc
Ultimately this is all antichrist material world bullshit, and I'm definitely feeling it in my lungs now that I'm 19, but fricking hell anons it really does make you cooler >inb4 seething healthgays call me a homosexual
We all have our vices and it so happens two of mine are in a feedback loop
also the thing with smoking is like nearly everything else in life, being young, healthy and good looking makes an otherwise ugly habit attractive >ugly old man alcoholic = disgusting deadbeat >hot young guy alcoholic = crazy party animal >ugly old man smoker = smelly, gross addict >hot young guy smoker = aesthetic, attractive
proof is that in every scene where a guy looks cool smoking in a movie, it's 100% because there's something else about him that's inherently cool, and vice versa.
My guaranteed stop-point is when I eventually have children, but I'm joining the army after college and I sure as frick won't be quitting then so at least another ten years. One thing I'll never understand is how the frickers in the 80s smoked so much and still functioned as a society. Every single one of my male grandparents in the 70s through to the 90s smoked 2-3 packs a day throughout, and this was considered normal at the time - meanwhile nowadays you have people getting noticeably winded from just a few years of smoking a pack a week. I personally smoke a handful a day, on a night out though I go through a pack.
Yeah it's fricking nuts, my grandfather was smoking 2 packs a DAY since he was 9 and up to like 4 packs by the time he was 50 and he only quit around then and lived to 78 (and even still it was the hospital that ultimately killed him)
>cigarettes are a cheat code for chatting up girls on nights out
they really are, most of the hooking up is done outside the bar or in smoking areas in the club
>"got a light?" >"sure here you go" >"thanks, [start talking about what the DJ is playing or whatever]"
You fricking autist, everyone is looking for a conversation in the smokers spot, what else is there to do?
I quit cold turkey almost a month ago after 7 years of smoking. Also quit drinking and smoking weed the same day. The cravings stopped after about 2 weeks. Feels great bros
It took me 5 years off on and off smoking, down to 3 smokes a week for long stretches. I'd go party or hang out and boom suddenly I smoked a pack in a night again. Smoked from 16 at the skate park into 30.
I don't recommend smoking but I also feel I could of stuck with 3-20 cigarettes a week and been fine into old age. Who knows I hated the smell of tobacco, I feel modern tobacco is particularly rank with how they commercialized not only the plant itself but how it was processed.
>how it was processed
That's the main issue. I've been working with raw and fermented but otherwise untreated tobacco leaves for a good 8 years now and I couldn't be happier.
Why has e-smoking become so normalized? It's ridiculous. Growing up in the 90's when anti smoking rhetoric was kicking in, I couldn't have imagined we'd be where we are now with vapes
I look just as cool when smoking i can tell
>more nicotine
>can be taken anytime
>smells good
>no cancer of popcorn lung
Take the snuspill
I want to keep my teeth
swedish snus has none of these issues. enjoy the lung cancer from your cigarettes
Enjoy oral cancer
>doesn’t look cool
>have to spit constantly
Lol no
but you look like a moron. also disgusting with the spitting and nasty used pouches. not cool at all.
But you don't look like you don't give a frick if you die or when you die.
can you get fake cigarettes that don't rot your teeth or give you lung cancer?
I don't care about the nicotine, I just think cigarettes look cool
stick to vaping
Vaping looks moronic tho

Fidget spinners for your mouth.
>cool character puts one of these in his mouth
Smoking is for real men, but these days I actually prefer some dank kush.
?
>cool character has one of these sticking out a centimeter into the air from his recently squeezed pore
smoking only looks cool if you're very handsome or very ugly. regular people just look trashy and stupid holding a ciggie
>pic rel double cool
>character lights his cig with a zippy
>triple cool
it should be illegal to cast models as smokers

I'm a smoker and I'm told I have nice skin, but I use a skincare routine
Models smoke though. So do ballerinas. It’s an appetite depressant.
it's also a collagen annihilator, what the frick are they thinking
a-anons
how the frick do i quit
clean 1 year here
you just need to believe for a couple of month that you're having a major lung issue like COPD or lung cancer, quitting comes really fricking easily then
checked
funny thing I always tell myself that I'd quit before I get cancer
I quit over night for two years, gotta be disgusted by it.

I'm on the same boat here.
run out of money for a month or two
Characters who are badass and live thrilling lives look cool smoking or drinking. Wagies and neets (everyone here) do not.
do cigs frick up your sleep?

wait you get winded going up the stairs at 25

You fricking autist, everyone is looking for a conversation in the smokers spot, what else is there to do?
well it's an excuse to stand around in silence so people are more open to small talk for some reason

>Yes I am listening to classical music, maybe I am an intelligent, evil villain... who knows? (im evil btw)
That's not a penis, anon.
>fingers aren't yellow from nicotine
immersion ruined
i wouldn't care anymore either at 77, i'll probably start roiding at 70

Good business.
