Costner-kino incoming boys. I am excited. Costner is the only big name who still understands the western and was responsible for last legit good straight western made, Open Range.

No Duvall no watch
Joking, pretty excited too
You would have thought the trailer would be more epic
I am not watching it; want to go into the film with as little foreknowledge as possible.
Not a single darky in the cast, so I'm betting critics will pan it. It'll be kino though, right?
Yes. Simple equation:
>Costner + Western = KINO
The man understands westerns better than anyone else currently working in Hollywood except maybe Eastwood, but Clint doesn't make Westerns any more and even when he did he never really got away from the influence of the Italians whereas Costner's reference points are classic studio westerns like those from John Ford and Henry Hathaway.
Looks spectacular. Glad he walked away from Yellowslop.
Bump for western good kino movie recommendations.
The proposition
STOP
RECOMMENDING
THIS
SHIT
more numale modern westerns
stick to the classics zoomer
Open Range was the last good western and that's also by Kevin Costner
Yeah you had a go at me last year for recommending it, unbelievable
I will be in every western thread making sure you dont recommend that trash
australians cannot make westerns by definition
and they cant make good movies, end of story
Brutal anon, brutal. I've never seen so much blood in a western like the proposition but fair enough
Based.
However, Quigley Down Under is a fine movie if you understand that it's not a real western
at least this was made by americans, stars americans, and plays to the american western mythos, so it is still 100x more kino than australian films
Hostiles
3:10 to Yuma

Looks dope Costner loves the American west and you can tell in the way it’s shot
I will be there.
We taking bets on what the bait and switch will be?
>him being replaced by a young woman early on but it isn’t shown in the trailer
>a Black person is actually the main character but isn’t shown much in the trailer
One or both Cinemaphile? Whats it gonna be?
Neither. Costner's ego won't allow it.
Don’t say I didn’t warn ya
Costner is directing and producing, so I'd say the chances are actually pretty slim. there might be some girl boss bullshit, but she won't replace him as the lead
I hate this guy, reminds me of a childhood friend's dad who would spank him through middle school
wow looked like a trailer for a 90's movie
I want a Waterworld 2
only if costner is involved
