that depends what you mean by meme. there were a lot of women fighting mostly by necessity and happenstance but inevitably some proved themselves very capable and were officially commissioned as battle groups. I don't think there was a particularly high amount of female snipers at Stalingrad but there were several successful ones, mostly later in the war I think. Also about the rape that's not a surprise to anyone. Look at /uhg/, that's still true of most of Russian male soldiers
