That directly contradicts the question trying to figure out what Superman villains casuals know.
So no, he doesn’t count. Casuals thinking deathstroke is a Batman villain doesn’t mean he is, let alone in a discussion of how little casuals know.
Characters like Superman and Green Lantern are just too strong and their stories are too wide in scope to have memorable recurring villains. Pretty much all they even need is Luthor and Sinestro to be their foils while the rest of the time they fights threats from other all over the world and from other planets. Batman wouldn’t have developed such a good rogues gallery if he wasn’t a street level guy who was stuck in the same city for so long.

Metallo, Bizarro, Brainiac, Luthor, Zod, Doomsday are all the ones casuals can name with Luthor, Zod and possibly Brainiac being the ones all normalgays can name. You can sneak in Parasite and Livewire for some casuals and even Nuclear man because of the memes.
People are starting to forget Superman is a superhero at this point with how many modern interpretations like to ask "What if he was ebil??"
