S&S is philosophically unpalatable to the people who control and produce media and artistically unpalatable to a spiritually dead audience you could of course capture a sizable niche but frankly the former don't want you and they hate you.
Before anyone forgets how to build roads or make aqueducts they start to think that they're dumb first and then that they're wicked and then don't even know what they are anymore.
You could do it but it would be green screen petite CGI with one liners and fall totally flat to the frog-eyed stairs of a mostly brown audience.

Sword and sorcery was a popular thing during a very narrow window of time and it was never great outside of handful of cases. So any revival is not going to happen unless by happenstance.
