They already tried something like that and it was a complete failure
When the frick was this?
When the Disney Princess franchise started.
Disney pretends so much they cater to the gay audience, well, this is an actual fricking good way to do it! Girls nowadays are pretty thirsty too. Oh, and they could sell cool videogames to boys too I guess
I wanna frick Hercules
Did they actually make Captain Hook part of their team of heroes?
No, he's the bad guy.
>Phillip at the front
Eugene better
Eric better
Aladdin better
Charming better
Philip killed a fricking dragon.
Meh, the Good Fairies carried his ass.
I'd like it, but I don't think most boys would be interested.
No, because the princes are nearly all minor characters at best. So many of these people barely showed up and had an incredibly minor part. You might as well ask if a "Horses of Disney Movies" toy line would sell well. Outside Aladdin and Beast, good luck getting any interest from anybody for this idea - much less the audience who specifically wasn't watching those movies.
Just make a Kingdom Hearts movie.
The 1st good prince was Aladdin. Everything before was trash, most things after weren't great either.
Revive the Disney Heroes brand

Who dafuq is between Herc and Beast?
Prince Phillip
this is cool but the chromatic aberration is like knives on my eyes
I barely see it, but I do technically see it.
Where’s my boy Quasimodo?
I loved these toys, herc was one of my favorites growing up.
It's doing quite well as a mobile game right now, even if the aesthetics are different.
It'd do better as a series if it wasn't hamstrung by S&P and the inhouse moral brigade.
Goliath clears them all, while he's not a prince he's done more leading than all of those lads combined.
He leads his clan in Manhattan. Though it would be fun to see him and a recursed Beast tear shit up.
Nope
>Snow White Prince
Nothing character.
>Shang
He was prepared to cut down Mulan when he found out her true identity. Not a good look.
>Eric
Lacks a personality.
>Charming
Barely did anything even in Cinderella 3.
>Naveen
Can't remember what he did, but he comes across as a better bluffer than Prince Ali.
>Phillip
see
>John Smith
Historically reversioned character that should be memoryholed.
>Adam
1. Has a rage trigger, not really a good look.
2. Only in the movie for barely 1 minute, already reverts to Beast form for those sequels.
>Flynn
Charismatic bullshit artist, died once to Gothel when his back was turned.
>Aladdin
Bullshit artist, street urchin who stole to live, charismatic enough to have his own series.
SW's Prince only got shafted because he was hard to animate
Strange, normally it is the female firm that is hard to draw.
They couldn't do it with the existing Prince line-up, but they absolutely can do a princess formula movie but with a male lead. They already have done it multiple times in the past. Jasmine is part of the Princess line-up despite Aladdin being the MC.
If we count the short period of time where Esmeralda was a princess, wouldn't Phoebus be her unquestionably straight prince since they went and had a son in the sequel?
Who would be their main villain?
Any random villain from their movies would be fine, recently Gaston was the main antagonist of a LEGO Disney Princess crossover movie, with Iago and Maleficent as minor bad guys.
>Iago
>minor bad guy
Didn't he have a whole redemption arc?
You know very well that the sequels are never acknowledged.
Now if only Lucasfilm had that attitude.
Sequels only get recognized by these animation studios if they were you know made by them like how that shitty tribe no one cares about from Frozen 2 showed up in Once Upon a Studio. Any other sequel media? They will never get acknowledged. This is why Iago is shown as Jaffar's partner in crime in Once Upon a Studio.
Yeah, I mainly meant stuff like the direct to video sequels and tv shows, those never get acknowledged, for better or for worse.
putting so many princes in one place would end in war between their countries
