A female Joker could be attractive, but that's it. Women don't experience the same existential dread as men do. Their experience of rejection simply isn't the same. No woman can go Joker mode in the same way as most men could if given that push in the wrong direction. Current Year women are deeply unhappy. In many ways, worse then men. However, no one can make movies or tv that reflect this because it would necessarily give away the game. It would clearly >imply how to get out of the unhappiness and nobody in control wants that. They want to deflect and scapegoat women's unhappiness onto particular social policy objectives and obtain women's consent. Women rarely gain insight into their own negative emotional states (and worse even WANT to be pissy, not unlike toddlers) and typically prefer white lies and excuses while men quietly fix the problems for them. The only entity currently capable of even addressing their problems is politics / government, so you see there is absolutely no motivation to give an honest, unvarnished portrayal of women's plight. It's too much of an opportunity.
