Yes according to Death Battle (lol), Robocop could beat a T-800. Anything stronger than that, probably not.

Probably about three to four RoboCops working together, employing coordinated tactics and overwhelming it from multiple angles and using heavier weaponry.
Robocop is strong enough he just needs to heft an anti-tank weapon to blast the T-800 to smithereens with a single shot.
Assuming we're allowing them to use any weapon their frames are capable of servicing.

There was a comic book series about Robocop vs. Terminator back in the good old days. Robocop could beat a T-800 1-on-1 so Skynet sent them back in teams of 4. It got really weird in the end with all the time travel shit involved.

I was going to ask if Skynet could take control of Robocop when he plugged into the wall but I'm guessing that might be what that comic is about.
I liked the one where it was Murphy against zombies. By the end of it small amount of flesh was eaten but he still kicked their asses.

I think they're probably about equal in potential accuracy, it's just the terminator in T1 doesn't get to be shown as accurate due to being a villain

Yes but I would suspect the t-800 would have the element of surprise assuming robocop can't tell it isn't human.
Yeah he didn't want to kill the cops. Plus the cops in RoboCop's case knew what they were up against and brought appropriate weapons and ammunition. The cops who fought the T-800 were taken by surprise and mostly using shotguns and revolvers until a few managed to get M-16s, but they weren't able to put up sustained fire and probably weren't using anything more potent than FMJ. The T-800 was damaged by a truck hitting it, so it's far from invulnerable.
Robocop's primary weapon is a 9mm, good luck. The Terminator walked through an entire police station and came out unphased. Also Robocop doesn't seem that agile.

Robocop has more displays of durability, Terminator exploded from a homemade pipe bomb, Robocop took a street level pipeline explosion without being too damaged as well as one or two small building level explosions, Terminator got crushed by a steel factory machine, Robocop bench pressed a similar machine and can toss cars with one arm.
Plus Robocop has fast hands and can react to bullets, if you gave him the jetpack then mobility is in hid favor now. And Robocop can deal with his futuristic weaponry since his robots already have lasers similar to Terminator's.
Terminator is meant for stealth operations, Robocop is meant to take on militas of cyberpunk criminal scum
Terminator doesn't really have any weapons that can harm Robocop. Ed-209 could probably mulch Terminator, and Robocop survived against that. Then add in that Robocop can still use his human ingenuity against the Terminator and kill it the exact same way the humans do in the film.
Robocop can also requisition powerful enough arms to defeat the Terminator where as the Terminator has to scavenge low level gear.
All of this is leading to one conclusion.
Robocop still has the brain of a human. T800 would just tank the auto9 and get close enough to shove his hand through robos fricking face and pop him like a zit
Robocop is significantly more durable, a shotgun blast can knock the T800 down as seen in technoir, Robocop frickin tanks point blank shots like if they were nothing.
