i always find it moron the way they kill off chrissy like that. he never did anything as nearly as problematic as ralph did for Tony to just snap out on him
Chase was doing everything he could to make the audience hate Tony at that point, and also the show was nearing its end so time to kill off some more main characters!
The Tony and Chrissy robbing those greasy bikers is one of my favorite scenes, that bonding between the two on top of the exhilaration you see on Chrissy's face after the hardships and betrayals he faced in the previous season, just gives a personal touch that everything will be alright. Except the fact that he died in the end
In movie land, sure. In real life, no. Lupertazzis are one of the families of NYC, they have connections all over the world, with the cartels, italians, balkans.
You can never collect on it, they'll just beat your ass or kill you. There are real world examples of this where mobsters run up bar tabs at a restaurant that never actually gets paid.
North Jersey Mob was always weak, even compared to the other New York families. The Lupertazzi family (based on the Genovese family) is the strongest of the five families, and one of the most powerful crime organizations on Earth. There's no scenario where the Sopranos could beat them

Was it just budget limits where the Lupertazzi family seems to consist of 5 guys, and ran out of a tiny pub?
Budget and also the focus is on the Soprano family, obviously, so not a huge amount of effort was put into showing how vast the Lupertazzi reach was. It's mostly communicated through dialogue and how much money Johnny Sack could throw around, and also the power Carmine Sr had over the unions. There was also Little Carmine living like a prince in South Florida despite not even being directly involved in family business
Last night I was at my buddy's house, and we were watching the fourth harry potter movie with his wife and kids. I joked that if I was voldemort, I would just hire a couple of goons like Chrissy and Paulie to grab Harry, stick him into a burlap bag, and bring him back. >ayyy Chrissy, deres da kid wid da glasses and da scah >ah shit paulie, 'e sees us >it don matta, just grab da sack >SHIT PAULIE, 'E'S SPEAKIN TONGUES OR SOME SHIT >don't pay 'im no mind Chrissy, we 'ad a guy do dis in dah ahmy, you just gotta get 'em ovah da head
>AHHH PAULIE 'E'S POKIN ME WID THAT STICK HE HAS >whatta you 5? just take da fricking thing >who'd tone say hired us again >it was some guy named vladimir or sometin
No. Tony said the Lupertazzi's had over 200 soldiers.
How many soldiers did the Sopranos have? They had four or five crews with a few soldiers each. Between 20 - 30?
christopher would have taken at least half of lupertazzis
he had moronic cs level headshots
Listen paulie theyre not gonna expect us to rush b, we already did it twice why would we do it the third time?
Chrisse could do it ninja style

Jersey crew should stick to stealing VCRs.
This. It's like saying The Gallo Crew or Buffalo could wage war against The Genovese.
the gallo crew did wage a war against their own family tho
Paulie's reaction there is just priceless.
GOD DAMN
MOTHA FRICKIN
ORANGE PEEL BEEF
is it at the beginning of a new season so that tony has access to the wild card who just got out from prison?
That happened twice in 7 seasons, calm the frick down
What happens if the mob owes YOU money?
They dont pay
moron
You don't loan them money unless you have some kind of leverage or tic for tac arragnement. If you don't, then they'll just laugh at you.
You can never collect on it, they'll just beat your ass or kill you. There are real world examples of this where mobsters run up bar tabs at a restaurant that never actually gets paid.
I hated that plotline so much
definitely making fun of his israeli background
How would that happen
If you own a restaurant they happen to like

but they could definitely reach a stalemate where north jersey become a no go zone for the genovese and vice versa

The muscle and soldiers wait in the car and as far as I'm concerned you should still be there!

No way. They were always just a glorified crew.
no because Tony never prepared for a war.
