I'm not going to watch this show. Made for little black girls. IMO Jessica is a stronger lead than Craig, but with Craig it's a nice balance of a good cast.
Coukd you argue this is a show for all little girls or just black ones. 80's and 90's all had little white kids as leads.
If you throw in the witches or elders I'll watch.
I think this show i made for a younger audience in general, younger even than the target demographic for COTC. This doesn't pique my interests for the same reason Bluey doesn't.

I found it interesting that Omar actually gravitates Omar in the friendship group. That they bond over a show that Craig doesn't like.
I'm glad this show doesn't make the characters palms white. It looks so bad and out of place on cartoon characters
When they originally announced this the characters had lighter palms (look at Jessica's hands), seems they've dropped that for the final show

That’s exactly my problem with it. It’s so saccharine and lacks any sort of edge. How are you going to have serious stakes when your entire plot revolves around kids playing pretend?
