I didn't even know this movie might be worth watching until this thread. I didn't know it didn't have the Tomorrowverse style, or that Greg Weisman wrote it, or that a Lupin animator directed it so I've ignored it.
It's good. Catwoman is actually charming, there is a lot of action, and the named villains don't job like other DC animated movies. This is the most menacing Solomon Grundy and Cheetah have been in a long time.
Sad because I loved how Cheetah got more characterization than "me scratch". The definitive Cheetah is a competent rich evil lady with the side of cat monster but in the recent decades DC regressed her into a tragic dumb cat.
I really like how she is portrayed as an absolute unit. Cheetah usually look pathetic among JLA enemies. She should be intimidating. The original idea behind the curse she turns into an unstoppable bloodthirsty murder machine.
