Dune (1984) seems to hit everyone differently. I'm a huge Lynch fan so I like everything he does. It's a failed experiment but even Lynch's failures are worth watching because they are so unique. You won't regret watching it.

1. Elephant Man, a study of human dignity that is unexpected coming Lynch. He directs with sensitivity, emotion, and formality that shows his range and proves that he isn't just a "throw weird shit together" guy.
2. Lost Highway, really grows on you. You go from "what the frick am I looking at?" to the images and scenes haunting you for days afterwards.
3. Mulholland Drive because it's perfect Lynch. It's like injecting pure Lynch into your bloodstream. It's as if his entire body of work had been working towards this master thesis where everything comes together.
