Again, there is no good videogame movies.
Only a very undemanding audience would be satisfied with that stream of flicks.

Based, Mortal Kombat 1995 is SOVL and the ending (especially with that Orbital track playing in the background, which is my most favourite track of all time) is surprisingly heartfelt for a fricking Mortal Kombat movie (of all things).

Wrong, Mortal Kombat 1995 is pure kino. have a nice day, you moronic shitskin. lol

There's so many terrible video game movies that it's weird that they got it so right, so early on, and yet nobody learned from it

The movie is just a loose remake of Enter The Dragon with more magical elements and video game characters and it's fine, that works great as a film structure

How was that NOT copied and instead there's a hundred video game movies that are just cauldrons of shit and autism

I legit fricking bawled in the theater when the brother showed up in the end. I was a pre-teen and had just lost my older brother, so that hit hard. It was me and my mom there, and she held me while i cried.

To this day that whole ending just makes me emotional. The scene with the kids running around playing with flags is just genuinely sweet and heartfelt.

                >"One day, we will be reunited. But until then, my spirit will always be with you. Go in peace, my brother." - Chan Kang
I was only 7 when Mortal Kombat 1995 was released. I never saw Mortal Kombat 1995 at my local theater but I wish I did. I saw Mortal Kombat 1995 at home a couple of years after it was released and I doubt my mother would've let me watch that movie when it first came out, even though the movie is ironically not very violent. But Mortal Kombat 1995 is still a timeless masterpiece even though it's not very violent in my opinion. And the fact that the ending for Mortal Kombat 1995 is so genuinely heartfelt is a very pleasant surprise to me. Halcyon On & On by Orbital is my most favourite track of all time and always will be and I love how that track was played in the ending of Mortal Kombat 1995. I love everything about Mortal Kombat 1995 from the day I first saw it sometime back in the late 90s, especially its ending. But similarly to you, the ending for Mortal Kombat 1995 gained new importance for me when my grandfather passed away in 2017. My father left my mother shortly after I was born, calling me 'an act of chance'. My grandfather was not just my grandfather but also my father, in my eyes. The ending of Mortal Kombat 1995 with Liu Kang's brother and that track Halcyon On & On helps me heal from his passing. Sometimes the people you need are right next to you all along without you ever knowing about it until they're physically gone FOREVER. Don't take people for granted. Here today, gone tomorrow. I didn't always get along with him, but deep down in the innermost core of my heart, I ALWAYS UNCONDITIONALLY LOVE HIM NO MATTER WHAT. Although my grandfather's body has died, who and what he REALLY is will NEVER DIE - Pure Consciousness, which is INFINITE AND ETERNAL, having experienced life in a temporary human form.
One day, we will be reunited... but until then, my spirit will always be with you. Go in peace, my grandfather AND father.

You could have done something like Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit, Burnout, Road Rash, Outrun, and even Rally Cross would have made for better movies.

Gran Turismo is a great racing series, but the point of the games has always been mechanics and racing simulation, and not stories. Not sure how anyone with more than two brain cells could expect to make a movie out of it.
