If TPTB really believed this was a problem we'd start builiding nuclear plants and "co2 emissions" would be solved in the space of 5 years.

It’s because it’s not the US or UK that will melt first. If it was on our soil proper we would solve it relatively quick. It’s just not P1 in the western world so it doesn’t get solved.

        >If TPTB really believed this was a problem
They don't, just like all environmental problems aren't a priority to governments. They just kick the can down the road and pretend to do something. Anyway nuclear isn't better for the environment.

It's not just politicians, it's climate activists too. If they thought this was a real problem they would advocate for nuclear instead of dicking around with solar panels
        >Anyway nuclear isn't better for the environment.
It's great for co2 emissions, though. If you think we are "going to melt" and "it's a genocide" and it isn't just rhetoric and exaggeration, then it's the obvious solution.

Make nuclear power plants and co2 emissions drop by 80% overnight, people switch to electric cars and electric stoves because they are vastly cheaper, without needing to coherce them through legislation.
Anyone who talks about climate change without advocating for nuclare is either grifting or in it for religious reasons.

            Anonymous

We can prevent radioactive leaks if stored properly and it takes up hundreds of times less room. Enjoy your solar panels in the ocean. At least there will be car batteries to power them with.

              >properly
That's the key word. The process of mining uranium, enriching it, using it, then storing the nuclear waste is wonderful if done properly. But people cut corners and frick up. And instead of a solar panel going to a landfill, it makes entire cities uninhabitable. We might as well try for nuclear fusion since it's more likely than "clean" nuclear fission.

Also global warming is a fact and your conspiracy theories don't make it less true.

There is none, all we have proof of is that they are lying about it.

This estimate doesn't take into consideration:
            - breeder reactors that need 1/60th less uranium
            - thorium reserves
            - any uranium mine that isn't already in use
it's worse than estimates that fossil fuels would run out in the 70s, no 80s, no 90s, no 2000s, no 2010s...

Reminder that overseas shipping mega oil tankers that wal-mart, amazon toyota etc all use to import foreign goods made by cheap labor are the biggest emitters of pollution and the biggest consumers of oil on the planet.

You could instantly solve 90% of all global pollution and oil consumption by having your crap made in your own country

You would also be able to force corporations to follow enviromental laws by doing this.

Nobody ever said it was 100% safe and effective. It's like 99.6% safe and effective. Adverse reactions do happen, but the vast majority of them are either mild or a pre-existing condition is involved. There are no guarantees in medical science. The fact that you think there are means you are a child. No vaccine, treatment, medication or therapy ever invented in the history of medicine has a 100% efficacy rate.

The mainstream media agrees in lockstep with each other on every single issue, and changes like a school of fish in lockstep on every single issue when The Narrative changes, even when it is all completely wrong.
If I am "wildly misinformed" then give me a counterexample. Show me a mainstream source saying the Ukraine is losing from the last few years. They all said the Ukraine is winning even though it has obviously been losing for years. Or show me one saying the vax is dangerous over that same time scale. etc
You can't, because they all agree on the same lies at the same time. The mainstream media is a monolith - it is the state Department of Information. It doesn't tolerate dissent.

Their models have constantly improved since they predicted a global ice age (that never happened) and they've improved even more than when they predicted global warming (that never happened) so these models that now say we need to live in pods and eat bugs or there will be... um... a cRiSiS... have to be right. And if you think that noticing decades and decades of failed predictions is a reason to doubt that the new models are correct, well then, you're just anti-science.

You should because people in charge will keep pushing this ineffectual shit and make us pay for it.
In my coutry the 30% of energy bill already goes for the fricking renewables, even though we have enough nuclear power plants to make it almost for free. Where does that nuclear energy goes? Oh right, to fricking Germany which closed theirs down after the pressure from watermelons.

It really hurts that the scientific institutions have no credibility left because they do too many Lysenkoisms for ZOG.
Am I supposed to trust the credibility and brave scientific rigor of a place that says race isn't real, or that men can become women? If they already knowingly lie about obvious things, how can I trust them over vague and ill defined things?

How come climate change people are the most fanatic about bringing as many people to first world countries as possible?

If you don't want to stop the immigration complex and get a handle on global trade (shipping emissions are always left out for some mysterious reason) then I can't believe that you believe climate change is a serious problem. You're just a moron or a liar.

this thread proves Cinemaphile is one of the stupidest boards on the chan. even if you were to be extremely charitable and say it's because of /misc/ losing containment, this is still full-moron levels of moronicness.

It's not because of /misc/. It happened everywhere. Every site.
morons stuck in the past think /misc/ is anything other than a humanless bot farm. Or that "/pol/" views like political racism somehow originate from there. Zoomers who say /misc/ things don't even know it exists.

It's frustrating seeing so many people not get this. /misc/ doesn't own anything. It doesn't originate anything. Nobody posts anyting there first.

That's part of what I mean. People are blind to product and corporate moves.

"The incident begins when you react" is liberal corporate homosexual aggression to a T.

I always just thought the whole thing was about trying to hurt Israel's Middle East enemies and to create a massive cap and trade ponzi scheme for rich Wallstreet israelites to further parasite off of productivity.

Because none of the actions around the issue make any sense at all if you take it at face value.
