Dude first enters and has to relive the same moment of a beast greeting him to hell then eating him alive until he forgets his name and his life before, then they change the torture to something new. All the while they keep making him think he is being saved by an angel and taken from hell until he believes it then they laugh at him and sodomize him while looking like st peter.

I just realized Halo ODST is Dante’s inferno explaining the 7 levels taking place in inferno guided by Virgil. Last circle level is betrayal (easily missable) and some other levels clearly parrot themes or setting of their source. It’s hilarious how much thought went into good media
