So I'm assuming this is still a sequel to the original show, just not a direct one?
Bingo. It's a soft reboot.
It's kinda like how the Incredible Hulk is a vague sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk, yeah. They're keeping the same actors where they like, carrying what story beats they like, but also dropping anything they want
>It's kinda like how the Incredible Hulk is a vague sequel to Ang Lee's Hulk, yeah.
It wasn't, though.
Really, it's more like what The Suicide Squad was to Suicide Squad 2016.
No Foggy? Damn
He dies in the first episode
Why did they get rid of both Foggy and Karen? At least Kirsten isn't an OC.
Daredevil: born again? More like Daredevil: back to the grave, with his She-hulk appearance, it's clear there are no competent writers on Disney plus
His appearance in She-Hulk was probably the first time I've seen people complain that they ruined a character because he was happy and chill for once.
>I don't know shit about DD
Matt does swashbuckling happy shit for a while and then crashes and burns. That's how these things go.
>Genneya Walton as B.B. Urich, a reporter and Ben Urich's niece.
Black Lesbian.
Why is it always the black women?
Hollywood doesn't want black people to reproduce.
>Why is it always the black women?
2fer
>Why is it always the black women?
white liberals think they are being woke
>Michael Gandolfini as Daniel Blade, a gangster.
Is this Kingpin’s son?
Maybe.
>Zabryna Guevara as Sheila Rivera, a politician and Fisk's mayoral opponent.
Latina Lesbian.
Making the Latin character gay is a good way to get most of them to not watch your show. Same with Blacks.
How much you guys want to bet B.B. is going to give Matt shit for getting her uncle killed and nothing else?
It was Karen’s fault though.
the best parts of she-hulk were daredevil and wong/wong's TV gf
but even then daredevil still felt off
I'm not sure if a whole series, that tries to somewhat canonize the netflix stuff, will be as good with the tonal shift. Also, why recast Vanessa?
>Also, why recast Vanessa?
The original actress was busy.
Hopefully the writing is better. Supposedly the writer for she hulk was put on the project despite having no experience with writing law. I doubt it though
I'd buy that, nothing really lawerly happens in the show. The court room stuff is just window dressing.
A proper She-Hulk/Daredevil show written by David E. Kelly would be pretty entertaining.
>despite having no experience with writing law.
Considering how hard they avoid ever showing anything involving lawyering or the law in general, it's a fair theory.
I think the only thing that felt off about Daredevil in the show was making him super acrobatic and flexible, it's more comic accurate but what made the action land in the Netflix show was that Daredevil could struggle even against normal mooks.
To be fair, Kingpin got buffed too in Hawkeye so I guess they're just upping everyone to make sense in the greater narrative.
Daredevil and Hawkeye are the only marvel shows I've enjoyed. Everything else ranges from mediocre to mind blowingly awful.
I just want a MCU-style quippy reference to this
>B.B. Urich
I knew we weren't getting Phil but as a fan of his character (before his downward spiral) this still sucks to hear.
i never believe this leaks but if theres no foggy then whats even the point
Are they using the yellow suit in the show?
That suit looks goofy
Capeshit is goofy
