Are they bringing back the writers/directors from the original daredevil? because if the answers no then it will probably be shit.
No, Steven D Knight and Erik Oleson are busy working on other stuff
It's gonna be shit guys, lets pack it in.
Every season of Daredevil had completely different sets of writers.
Season 3 had no writers return from Season 2, hell, Drew Goddard was supposed to be show's showrunners but he opted out at the last minute. It's very much par for the course for Daredevil.
Steven is just being a jackass, he refuses to work with Disney again because of Cebulski's shogun shit. How does that work inside Steven's mind I have no idea.
So this means reboot is confirmed, right? They already adapted that story in season 3.
>They already adapted that story in season 3.
Not quite, it was s so loose that I don't think it is even really counts ss an adaptation as much as it was a new story that happened to share some moments from the comics.
mcu never really adapts the comics it takes the titles too accurately
born again is just a very apt title for a revival series
Can't wait for them to make a pussy of daredevil just like they did Obi Wan and Kingpin.
season 3 was kinda bad, and the only part of season 2 I liked was when Frank was Franking Franks.
Season 3 was great.
Season 1 good
Season 2 half is good
Season 3 good
Im not arguing with anyone these are facts
18 episodes what the frick? I'm not complaining but this is 10 more than any marvel studios series so far.
Maybe they'll split into two cours with 9 episodes each?
He's also going to have a role in Freshman Year. I guess they completely dropped the idea of it being a canon prequel to civil war and just turned it into a multiverse thing.
It’s a Multiverse thing so thatwhen Secret Wars happens, they can have 2 Peters while dodging the Sony stuff.
Better that it's not restrained by the MCU, as long as it keeps Peter right.
What western tv show gets an 18 episode season nowadays? Most don’t even get 12.
the netflix shows already felt they were stretching it at 13 episodes. and they want 18? bloody hell
Can he actually wear the fricking costume from now on?
Did you see the She-Hulk trailer? He's going to be wearing a version of the yellow/red costume
That's at least 10 episodes too many.
anyone expecting this to be remotely good after all the dogshit disney+ shows is a moron
Feige will fulfill his wet dream and bring Elektra wearing the red burka he created in the comics
Y I K E S
That's minha costume. Which looks similar.
That costume genuinely rules
I hate New marvel but boy, elektra being daredevil costume is super rad.
>This logo
Damn this looks mid 2000s. Not like that's a bad thing of course
It took years, but now we just keep winning.
There's no way they'll adapt Born Again comic for Disney Plus, doesn't Karen becomes a heroin junkie and shoots porn in comics?
If they're still counting stuff from Netflix, then it makes no sense to adapt Born Again 1:1
Kingpin already knows Matt is Daredevil, for starters and it doesn't make sense for Netflix Karen to betray him like 616 Karen did
But why use the titles instead? I didn't watch season 3 knowing the show will be cancelled
Born Again is used as a title here symbolically, since it's a revival of a cancelled show.
Also, watch S3. It's good shit, and also provided good closure at the time, so it was stupid of you not to watch it just because you knew it was canned.
shill
buzzword
It would never be as good as Netflix's so whats the point?
Netflix didn't make the original one
>03 font
>this and the DD tease from She-Hulk
maybe I'm not truly done with the MCU
>with an 18-episode season.
Fricking finally, thank god.
All these disney+ shows (Star Wars too) have really suffered from being poorly done miniseries that are over in 6 episodes. The problem is that if you're doing a miniseries you need a strong, solid core plot to focus on and justify the short length, which none of these shows have had. Just give me some normal episodic fricking television
That's way too much though. Ironically back during the Netflix Marvel days, people were complaining that the seasons were too long (should have been 8 episodes instead of 13).
Best title ever since the trick they played for one minute when they pretended Cap 3 was named Captain America: Serpent Crown
Also I'm scared about the usage of a font similar to 2003's Daredevil but Affleck is too costly, Page is too old and Michael Clarke Duncan is... unavailable.
>implying Ben Affleck would ever touch capeshit again
He's an addict, he said the same shit about booze.
first we're gonna see Matt and Jen do it
You know, I sort of get the gay who cried over Star Wars trailer. Daredevil means a lot to me, in a lot of ways I've learnt English as an ESL by reading Daredevil comics as a kid. Flash forward to 2012, October, I still remember vividly, Marvel has gotten Daredevil rights back from Fox, I was preparing for school exams. In 2015 Daredevil is released, I was preparing for graduation, I was set on becoming a lawyer. 2018, last year of uni, last season of Daredevil. And now that I am a working lawyer he's back again with me, he never left me in the comics, always entertaining me.
Love that. DD means a lot to me too. My parents would get random early 90's Spider-Man comics for me from garage sales, but the DD movie came out when I was 13 and I was old enough to buy my own comics. He's been my favorite ever since, so much resilience, fighting back against the chaos. It helped me as a depressed teenager.
>18 episodes
They better be 30 minute episodes. Episodic in tone and nature, every episode is a new case for Daredevil to tackle, either by law or vigilantism.
If they're the hour long slogs like netflix frick that.
Knowing Disney each episode will probably vary wildly between being an hour long and barely being 30 minutes (with the credits taking up 10)
I hate how they didn't brought back his original logo like Netflix did, it kinda sucks, like when marvel couldn't use the title amazing spider-man because sony already did movies with that title, or Sony despite using it, never used the original title font logo, until they did into the spider-verse
