Science man gets his life stolen by alternate universe self using XL irl Schrodinger's box. It's pretty lame and JConn doesn't have enough screen time.
>Interesting premise
If by interesting you mean stale, yes. Drawn out for sure. The amount of padding they'll have to do to make this premise stretch an entire series...
this exact same story must have been told in 423432423 movies and shows by now
I laughed when the guy was clearly being kidnapped by himself. Just a joke
nothing unique or interesting at all. stale mcdonalds television
The book its based on released in 2016, this idea was stale even then. Maybe there is some good shit by the end that made the book interesting cause I am not seeing it so far in the show..
They are trying to make it into prestige TV rather than showing it as the slop it is
At this point, I cringe every time Schrodingers cat comes up. It's not even an interesting way of explaining that phenomenon. Come up with a new way
Like it's worse than pushing a pencil through a folder paper for wormholes at this point.
I hate when characters are moronic. They already should know there is some way to control the box, evil Jason must have to drop Jason into his universe.
This is why the first 3 episodes were garbage. These are supposed to be quantum scientists of the highest degree or some shit and they don't even have enough braincells to consider maybe this is an alternate universe version of Jason, which is why he doesn't remember? 4th episode was slightly interesting with exploring the universes, but then again the science chick was moronic and ran into a blizzard for no reason
Any webm requests>
Nah, I'll just re-watch Counterpart instead.
I forgot this show existed because they named it after a show that came out 10 years ago
TBF they named it after the novel that came out 10 years ago.
I don't have Apple TV
lrn2pirate
What is it? If it looks interesting I may pirate it.

Interesting premise, so it's like the Mirror Mirror episode of Star Trek but more serious and drawn out?

This episode was filler for sure, they spent most of the episode explaining the box mechanism TWICE
The book was pretty gpod and the show seems pretty faithful to the source material. I've only watched thepilot though.
How does Connelly look in this? Is she still holding on?
ehh..
She looks like an average mom who avoided gaining weight even after 16 years post having kids

What a boring show
It has high production values though
More like darks don't matter
More like Dork Matter, amirite?
I laughed at the psychology chick instantly getting hypothermia

His next book was not so good. I mean, it started well, until it got to never ending nukes. What a weird fricking plot.
Is this actual sci-fi or one of those female-orientated "sci-fi" shitshows like the time travellers wife
Its almost getting into latter territory
>the only ones who keep making decent SF with high budgets are Apple/Netflix who are corporations full of homosexualry/modern politics
fricking Hell
it has SF elements, but also a lot of women drama and moron moment
Is this show good? I'm thinking about watching it cuz Jen.
So it really is as simple as "click your heels three times and say there's no place like home."
You need to feel your way through the multiverse with Mcguffin and magic drugs
