Its pretty sad to see that Cinemaphile and the rest of the world dont give a shit about Aardman anymore. One of the few non American and Non Japanese animation studios to have made some quality movies and series in that past, reduced to this.

I just don't like teeth on birds, stop motion as a craft is all good though
very autistic of you
co is lousy with coom addled 2D waifu gays. if it's not attractive to them, they'd much rather "discuss" underaged furry characters and their feet
If Aardmans mastered one thing its like with the Simpsons, they've created an artstyle that is okay to look at but at the same time is completely unfrickable. Its not as gross as big mouth, but I still can't coom to any of these characters.
>marge
>leela
>amy
>unfrickable
wrong.
Speak for yourself my guy
>Aardmans mastered one thing its like with the Simpsons, they've created an artstyle that is okay to look at but at the same time is completely unfrickable.
>What is Flushed Away
Sucks to see the first thread up and died. I haven't seen the sequel myself, but that's only 'cause I'm waiting on my brother to come back for the holidays—currently studying abroad—so we can watch it together. We watched the original on VHS all the time as kids
I'm not gonna watch it, I love the first one but it didn't need a sequel at all
>you must worship BRAND
the original creators have almost nothing to do with the sequel and it’s a significant step down in quality, so shut up
Go woke go broke
>Wake up this morning
>Became broke
FRICK
It never explained where Frizzle came from and why she was a runaway chicken. Like she and milky didn’t know each other so it’s not like she came from the island
She was from a nearby farm. She wasn't selected to go to the funfarm, but wanted to go so she ran away in hopes of getting there.
>that ginger voice
not watching
A pretty good sequel all things considered.
Good, not great, but good.
The original was overrated anyway, why did it need a sequel?
I agree. The first film was ridiculously unrealistic.
I mean, come on. 6 million chicken pies? And ONE chicken farm? There’s no way Mrs. Tweedy could’ve made THAT many pies. That’s just impossible.
It's on Netflix, which I don't have. To be honest it's one of those things that I feel will be decent but unnecessary.
>company that makes their clay went out of business
>bought up their remaining stock
>wont be able to get their signature look anymore
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>dont give a shit about Aardman anymore
all their last productions have been dogshit though, so it's normal to not care
+ a chicken run reboot in big 2023 just screams "GIVE US MONEY"
picrel killed the studio in my eyes, and the second shaun the sheep movie was the final nail in their coffin
>hear they are doing an aardman movie about caveman’s and the evolution of man
>mfw it’s about soccer
nearly killed myself in the theater when I realized the soccer arc wasn't just a 2-minutes joke
I would've liked the movie better if it was just literally Wallace and Gromit: Stone Age edition that they're just speedrunning the advancements in order to defeat the Bronze Empire
But they just instead decide to do soccer for no reason.
I don't care for football/soccer, but this really is an example of cultural dissonance. I want to say it's like a movie where cavemen play baseball or 'Murican football, but I don't know, soccer football *is* very tribal in Europe.
Decided not to watch when they didn't bring back Mel Gibson because of you know what
I feel like Aardman lends itself to straightforward discussion. They make films in their own little bubble, so you can't generate outrage or bait without coming off as autistic. As for the film, it's good. Not as good as the first, but it's a pleasant watch.
So what does everyone think of Mrs. Tweedy's glow up?
it's out?
>ends with every bad guy's fate left ambiguous
Sequel bait?
The fact nobody is talking about it tells me it’s incredibly mediocre and has nothing to talk about.
Mrs. Tweedy is more believable than the holocluck.
>latino dub has most of the original cast
holy BASED
Why couldn't the US do the same?
One sec
>In the Italian dubbing, overseen by Roberto Gammino, the entire cast of the first film is replaced, except for Paolo Buglioni and Roberto Ciufoli in the roles of Frego and Piglio ( the mouses)
Well frick. Whatever
>Francisco Colmenero is not only still alive but also still voice acting
Fricking HOW
At this point is a miracle and luck considering that we lost the lat voice actor of Bling Bling boy/Rorro Pirrorro from Johnny Test not to long ago
They said Ginger's voice actor was too old but her replacement is only 4 years younger, seems odd
Aardman have been bringing out a lot of subpar sequels recently, and this is no different.
They recasted all the cast for celebrities more popular with zoomers, and the animation is the only saving grace.
it wasn't even fun to watch it. it felt recycled with a mix of james bind because lol english people, at least molly wasn't build ti be an annoying indepemdent gurl and actually shown to havw her flaws and manage to worked her way to help and im glad they didn't make Rocky into a useless character because he's male
>James Bind
Yeah, I do like how they didn't do the whole virtue signaling GURL POWER thing and showed us that Rocky as important, Ginger admitting that her parenting style wasnt good, and Molly admitting that she made big dumb mistakes because she thought she was ready but now knows she clearly wasn't. If any other woke studio made this, Rocky would be completely incompetent the whole time, Ginger would be seen as the perfect parent with no flaws, and Rocky's toxic masculinity would be the thing holding his daughter back or some shit
>if any other woke studio made this Ginger would be seen as the perfect parent with no flaws
Name one fricking thing that does this. The woke cliche is portraying flawed parents because generational trauma.
Look, I love claymation as much as the next guy, but Chicken Run is not something that needed a sequel, ok?
Literally no one asked for a Chicken Run sequel 20 years after it got made
What other non-USA or non-Nippon animation studios are widely know around the world?
Chicken Run was a brilliant masterpiece
Sorry but I'm not excited for a bastardized cash grab sequel made decades later.
I'm guessing the new bird is a diversity quota and Rocky sounds nothing like Mel
I watched it but it’s just not that good.
The original movie always made me crave a good Chicken Pot Pie. Damn shame that American fast food places never have these on there menus
The best ones I ever bought in a store was at Costco and M&M Food market, those still pale in comparison to the my mother's recipe.
It alright.
It doesn't tarnish your memories of the original movie, which is more than can be said for most sequels.
it was pointless
Just saw this. Pretty inoffensive but like most late sequels is just a retread of the original without adding something new.
The paradigm has changed, it multimillion computer animated productions for cinemas ans scraps for anything else.
I care about all animation as long as it's not CG.
>no Mel Gibson
Already pozzed
