DC is so shit. They had an answer to Tchalla, to Miles, to Blade right there. And they've done absolutely nothing with him. DC is trash.

>And they've done absolutely nothing with him
Yes they have
Black Lighting isn't Static
the sng was so good
They don't own Static.
They're just publishing the comics. They wouldn't want to push something they don't have full control and ownership of.
Well they need to do something because Statics powers would be awesome in live action
A proper Luke Cage/Iron Fist/Heroes for Hire adaptation would blow all of them out of the water
DC doesn't care about Black characters.
we keep telling you guys, they don't actually own Static.
Cast Frieda
An ugly black woman.

Who is that? Black Lightning?
What does Black Lightning, Ace, and Hellboy have to do with this?
Who's Ace?
Also
>Hellboy
>DC
Anon, the results are in, you're clinically moron.
Ace = Wallace Aka Black Kid Flash. Basically the same storyline as Miles with some slight differences
>Is popped into a reality/timeline he isn't supposed to exist in
>Was meant to "replace" main stage character but just ended up being a member of their family
>>DC
Look, I couldn't think of another black monster hun- GODDAMMIT I COULD'VE JUST SAID MISTER TERRIFIC OR STEEL
I'm surprised he even got a cartoon that lasted that many seasons.
They tried that with your pic and Cinemaphile spend six months complaining that it was too woke before forgetting it existed.
I wouldn't trust the current pool of writers with Static. It's best to bring in someone from outside the company, but not from the editors/writers friend circle.
The last writer/artist for Static was a new, 27 year old creator who also wrote a "woke" run by comic dork standards.
>And they've done absolutely nothing with him
They don’t own Static. They have an agreement with Milestone to publish him and that took years to settle. And they’ve published Static comics whenever they were able.
