Spinning out of the events of both Batman/Superman: World's Finest and Shadow War, father and son will do battle in one of the single most earth-shattering tales ever told!
Deep in the heart of Lazarus Island, the demonic legacy of the al Ghul family line has at last been freed, and the Devil Nezha is out for blood. To reclaim his total domination over planet Earth, Nezha has supercharged magic—anyone who dares use it is overcome by a demonic evil that supercharges their abilities to dangerous, unpredictable, and in some cases deadly levels! With Damian in Nezha's clutches and Bruce haunted by the return of an old friend, the Dark Knight and the Boy Wonder are pitted against one another in the battle of the century! Legendary writer Mark Waid helms the next epic saga in Batman history, while superstar artist Mahmud Asrar makes his triumphant return to DC!
ahh so Damian's possessed/it's demon shit. cool
wasn't this the Annual's solicit?
>Batman/Superman: World's Finest and Shadow War
What? How are they crossing these two together?
Nezha is the main villain of the first arc of World's Finest, which is an ongoing set in the past
Shadow War set in the present revealed that the Al Ghul bloodline has ties to Nezha and Batman vs. Robin takes place after it
>Nezha gets defeated when Dick was a kid and a Robin
>Nezha awakens again when Damian is Robin and goes inside Damian making him evil
>Then Batman remembers Nezha and calls Nightwing for help
>Damian is free and Nezha is defeated AGAIN
There understand now?
>Nezha awakens again when Damian is Robin and goes inside Damian making him evil
unf?
Please don’t shit on Damian.
Tim is better than damian.
It is over for you damiangays.
Boo! I wanted more Williamson Robin!
Hahahahahahah
It is over for you damiangays. Tim was always a better Robin.
He's the only writer at DC I follow any more.
How long till Mark Waid gets banned form DC again for his shitty behavior?
I've accepted that after being Robin for 14 years (his actual age) he can move on. That being said I've just moved onto being anxious that it could be another "Drake" scenario
Is it time to bring back Redbird?
Did they ever acknowledge that Damian used the same name that Tim gave his car?
Did they ever acknowledge that Batwing is the name of Bruce's plane?
If Damian moves on from being Robin while Tim gets like a 50 issue Robin solo it will be the funniest fricking thing.
Damian as so much character he don't need to be Robin. He can be the next Nightwing, but the hardest thing is to come up with a good codename.
I'll just reread Morrison's Batman and Robin. Thanks.

Two-Face has always been viewed as Batman's most tragic villain. If only Harvey Dent hadn't been scarred by acid, he could have continued his good work as D.A. in Gotham City and been Batman's greatest ally and friend…right? Or has Batman extended Harvey Dent too much grace in his multiple attempts at reform? He'll question himself as Harvey Dent is free once more, scarred but seemingly free of Two-Face's influence. But…when it's revealed Harvey Dent's father has been threatened to be murdered on his 88th birthday, will Two-Face be able to resist joining the party? From the bestselling creative team of Mariko Tamaki (Detective Comics, Crush & Lobo) and Javier Fernandez (Nightwing, King Spawn)!

Step aside, Damian—the world's favorite Robin has got this! That's right, after years away, Tim Drake is taking center stage in a brand-spanking-new Robin series of his very own!
A mystery over a year in the making takes shape, as a new villain who's been hounding Tim from afar decides to take things up close and personal, putting Bernard and everyone else Tim cares about in peril as things go from bad to worse for the world's oldest and canonically tallest Robin [no, I will not be fact-checking that]. All that and Tim finally carves out a corner of Gotham City just for himself, and sets up shop in his very own…murder shack boat? Fan-favorite writer Meghan Fitzmartin teams up with beloved Harley Quinn artist Riley Rossmo to define the next chapter in Tim's life. and as if that wasn't enough, break out your skateboards and motorcycles cuz we've assembled a murderer's row of artists to draw the 1990s' One True Robin™ in his various looks from over the years!
Ewwww
Yes damiangay
We won you lost
>every issue is Tim Drake sucking a different wiener
issue is Tim Drake sucking a different wiener
That would be better than what we're actually going to get.
Fricking hell. I know Tim has had a dry spell for years and fans wanted him more as Robin, but only by making him gay did DC see any value in him. Lame fricking monkey's paw.
Here is the Young Justice variant cover.
Tim is still better than damian.
You dropped your dilator, Sir.
I like them both. I don't like how Damien bumped Tim out of the role. Batman can have a number of Robins running around. Helps the urban myth thing too.
>always wanted a legacy Superman story
>loved Jon Kent as a kid
>even love the costume design of the S-shield red blending into the cape
>get all of that but also make him a homosexual with a pink-haired twink boyfriend and they talk about how gay they are every issue
It hurts, fellow monkey-paw bro.
Jon Kent as a kid
anon how old are you?
>loved Jon Kent as a kid
You have to be 18 to post here anon
Gay Robin is a better name
>world's oldest and canonically tallest Robin [no, I will not be fact-checking that]
god even the comic tease is gay.
Damian will be taller than Tim soon enough. Tim ages backwards after all.
Tims solo writer is brutal.
since Dc's current writers are 90's early 2000's gays - for Batman anyway - are we going to get writers in a few years who want the reborn era back? Then new52 and so on?
One day people will be nostalgic for a Ric.

I have a BAD feeling about this for some reason.
They've already made half a dozen sequel to CoIE, each one making continuity more confusing.

Don't touch that dial! Picking up right after the season finale of the award-winning podcast, Batman: The Audio Adventures continues in this new seven-issue miniseries! A string of attacks has plagued Gotham's seedy underbelly, sending criminals into a panic. But it's not Batman who is striking at the heart of the city, it's a group of mysterious assailants on the hunt for an ancient artifact. As Batman hunts down these assassins, he finds clues that keep drawing him to their true goal: the sword of King Scimitar!
Oh, that’s cool. I liked the first set of comics more than I expected. Does this mean we’ll get more of the Audio Adventures?
Yes. Season 2 has been confirmed in the works

I know it's linked to the stories in the audio dramas, but this just seems dumb. We got enough fricking Batman comics. Just keep the audio dramas as audio dramas.

It's a tango to the death as Batman dances with an old flame while trying not to catch on fire. Using the new information about "black noise," Batman investigates the music box in his possession some more, which leads him to question whether music is actually able to contain physics-altering properties. Later, this theory is tested with Two-Face.

Who is Stephs new boyfriend gonna be?
Red Raven from Batman inc.
Pretty sure the boy is the one in the top of the book shelf..who looks a bit like Kyle from Gotham academy. who another anon here actually mentioned as a possible love interest for her.
So she is gonna be horribly burned by a knockoff antimony carver then?

No, it isn’t. You have pull list of comics to be pulled from being put on the rack and put to the side for you. Sometimes it’s called a subscription by shops. There is no “pull box”.
Oddly quoting things for no reason doesn’t change that.

Gotham's most wanted, Jackie Quinzel, has been spotted at Wayne Industries! Now it's up to the former vigilante Bruce Wayne and his new sidekick, The Joker, to break her out. But Derek Powers is always one step ahead, with tech ready to combat any tricks they may have up their sleeves. Is the dynamic duo doomed? Or will a dark knight in future-tech armor come to their rescue?
None of these have sold since the original and really only the first two issues. Kill it already.
#3 still sold better than Nightwing/Catwoman/Robin ect. There were only 6 DC comics that sold better than it in May.
Nightwing Robin and Catwoman are all awful so idk what that was supposed to prove. Tom Taylor’s nightwing is worse than the Ric or devin Grayson years.
Its supposed to prove that its one of DCs best selling titles by a long shot so your response is humorous. Why do you mention sales if you don't know what they are?
that's good because those are shit.
Nightwing is also one of DC best and most consistent sellers.
I mean Nightwing is main character in Dark Crisis and Titans
Nightwing has never been a top seller. He has consitently hovered in the 20-40k range since his Dixon days. He is a consistent seller. There is a big difference. Batman is a top seller. Nightwing is a consistent C-List hero who cant even save Titans or Batgirl titles from failing while Batman is holding the entirety of DC on his back.

Lucky for you, Poison Ivy isn't your average HR rep. She's much more flexible and her punishments are far worse, too! So be on your best behavior because Dr. Isley is watching.
Oh boy I’m sure all the dykes of color will be flock to pay for these!
>I-I know everything about you because you complain about comics
Sorry I loved this shit more than you ever will. Leave Cinemaphile is you’re such a dispassionate casual homosexual.
Tom Taylor should kill himself.
And yet, here you are, talking about how you hate every single DC comic solicit. It sounds like this hobby just isn't for you anymore. It hurts, but maybe you should do some self reflection and realize its time to move on. You may have loved it once, but the biggest fans turn into the biggest antis, and its clear you are no longer a fan.
>again anon implies all comics are DC comics
Are you paid to post or do you cape this hard for corporations for free? What a whiny fricking homosexual. It’s crazy you think complaining about complaining is more normal than complaining about things you used to love being driven into the ground by hacks.
Did you have problems with your father growing up?
No, love him very much to this day. The people who had daddy issues are the ones destroying DC and Marvel.
Not for the last 5 months
What sre you talking about? In January Nightwing was the 33rd best selling single issue comic and in May it is the 27th. Do you guys just make shit up and hope people are too stupid to check?
>January Nightwing was the 33rd best selling single issue comic and in May it is the 27th.
That’s not a “top seller” anon…
It is for DC. It was 7th best selling DC comic in May, and consistently stays there. Which is why I called it "one of the best and most consistent selling DC comics" particularly when almost everything above it are #1s and minis.
>It was 7th best selling DC comic in May,
>anon thinks this is a top seller despite being outside the top 25
I said top seller for DC. Which it is. I probably could have said some random number though because you clearly have no idea what anything sells. Probably don't even know how to see beyond top 50.
Anon that’s a cute imagination you have there but it doesn’t change the fact that after the first arc Tom Taylor’s nightwing was no longer a top seller.
Tell me anon, what is Batman selling these days?
Has nothing to do with the conversation at all…
I agree.
You literally have no idea what anything sells. You just make shit up to jerk off to the idea that all the titles you hate must actually be selling badly.
>You literally have no idea what anything sells.
What a random twist in the conversation. I guess it’s true that ever since DC left diamond we have no clear figures but that’s exactly why you relied on ranking earlier as well.
Are you IMO,young nightwing is selling better than Batman while claiming I’m the one who doesn’t know what I’m talking about?
>IMO,young
*Implying what a weird set of autocorrects
>twist
Aren't you the one who pretended Beyond the White Knight sold like shit?
It just barely cracked the top 25 in may that’s not exactly stellar for a Batman comic anon.
Highest DC book that doesn't star Bruce Wayne though
I mean true but also a massive cope
Its moving goalposts anyway. Top 25 is no position to be cancelled for low sales, and you know it. You just assumed it was a low seller because you didn't check.
>goalpost moving while claiming I ever said it was cancellation numbers
Just stop lol you’re so interested in “winning” or some shit.
>still can't lead Justice League
>still can't have a movie
>still is a joke character in EVERY animated DC movie
You guys complained for years and years that you didn’t like comics the way they were and that they should pander to you because they were problematic or whatever. Don’t get mad at us for adopting your tactics.
Why is Poison Ivy (The Green) messing around with fungi (The Grey)?
You just seem really unhappy. Why continue to surround yourself with things you hate? It must make you a really unpleasant person to be around.

Only homosexuals like this

>Allred already phoning it in for this shitty cover
He read the scripts and knows this will be one of the most hated comics of the year.
>Could this be the beginning of the end that Pariah prophesied?
It's in-continuity?
No?

I've really enjoyed tfz so far, excited for the Martinsborough solo
Ah c'mon, 12 fricking issues to get back at the trite dance of "Jason is leaving the Batfamily for good. AGAIN" just to drag him back for the next crossover or event (hell, I bet he'll be at Dick's wedding
) Does anyone at DC knows a different story for Jason?
The variant cover is fricking awesome though. Robin Jason in a costume closer to his N52 version, Rebirth Jason wielding an All-blade. The only flaw is no guns on Pillman.

Jesus. They got rid of her supporting cast again?

Oh hey, Tim finally gets to do something.
And that something is getting proneboned by a guy who wanted to frick his stepmom.
What?
Tim's new boyfriend, the most important character development he's had in 12 years, is a guy who wanted to frick his stepmom back in the Willingham run.
Oh yeah. Spike Spiegel joined Young Justice.
>32 pages
Good. The first issue was only 22 and technically less since that included the backup.
i was annoyed at the guy shitting on everything but anon got to the point where it's so tryhard it's funny.
All me BTW I'm trans
This is what you’ve been reduced to? Larping as me because you’re so salty I don’t suck corporate wiener? lol pathetic really.
Funny that I’ve said there are at least two comics I’ll be buying while all you’ve done is police a thread on fricking Cinemaphile
Thanks, I was really curious about specifically your thoughts on every title here.
Why post them otherwise? So people just mod and say “fricking awesomeee!!”?
I notice you didn’t reply to any other person sharing their thoughts. You shills get so touchy.
Maybe if you had something more interesting to say than “popular thing bad” and “I hate gays” you wouldn’t be getting so much guff.
You obsessing over my replies isn’t exactly “so much guff”. How do the DC boots taste homosexual?
Its boring to spam the same reply to everything over and over again. "AHHHH why won't [x] kill themselves?!?!" gets annoying when you see it dozens of times.
I could say the same for your replies to me so here we are…
Sanest Cinemaphile posters.
let Jason shoot again, frick the crowbars
I think it's very funny that Deathstroke's objective in Dark Crisis is killing legacies. They made him embody 00s and 10s DC!
Stop mass replying like a Black personhomosexual.
Wah wah wah cry more
>BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN BATMAN
Wow. What great variety.
have a nice day supergay
Remember when DC Comics use to be good?
No.
you know the answer to that
I want Green Latern book
Please
Please
Please
It would the Emerald Knight bullshit from Thorne
It would be woke anti-white propaganda made by Geoffrey Thorne.
Be thankful the GLs are on the sidelines.
>woke anti-white propaganda
drink bleach, kiddo.
>nothing but Woke Gay BLM Propaganda everywhere
Yawn. Looks like I still won’t be picking up DC Comics.
No Bendis Justice League vs Legion book?
Is it over?
Hopefully Bendis goes back to Marvel soon.
Shouldn’t Batman be dead during this time since he died in Dark Crisis?
I wish Disney would buy out DC Comics already.
They can’t afford it.
They could. The better question is, why would they? Outside of Joker and maybe Batman, DC Comics is pretty worthless. Same for the rest of WB that only create bombs that bomb and underperform.
Disney doesn’t have the money to acquire DC mousegay.
They have billions of dollars. They could buy DC five times. They is just no reason too. Especially when they can get it for cheap when WBD goes bankrupt.
Disney doesn't have money to buy Batman, his villains and his batfamily
Stay mad mousegay
Don't worry my fellow(tm) disneyfan(tm)! We're getting Planet of The Apes(tm) comics!
There’s a rumor that Zaslav is trying to fix WB (and DC) so that can be sold off at a later date.
Did solicitations get fricked?
Marvel and DC are later than usually and there's nothing from the other major publishers when they usually get released on the second to last Friday
I think the paper shortage hurt them.
I thought Bruce Wayne was dying and Tim Fox was becoming the main Batman?
another month of dc not producing anything of value.
The proper Batman title has to be getting close to 1000 now, I wonder if they’ll try to do a legacy numbering thing with it
What the heck is going on with comic solicits this month? Only DC and Marvel have released solicits (with Marvels including a mass delay of a lot of what were meant to be august books). There's no solicits from Diamond via Previews World, and there's no solicits from Penguin Random House either, meaning that we don't have IDW solicits and we only have Marvel solicits from comic news sites that presumably got press releases from Marvel
paper shortage
It's a bit early isn't it, DC and Marvel are usually among the first to release solicits
isn't it always the 2nd to last friday of the month?
God. This all looks so terrible.
Where are the 15 Batman trades OP?
trades?
What happened to the Swamp Thing: Green Hell?
I am actually really depressed
read books
Do you have any recommendations I haven't read any since high school
way of kings is a popular modern fantasy series and I also enjoyed mage's blood. not sure about anything not fantasy related.
Jurassic Park
It is okay, anon. Just cherish the memories of old good DC. Read old comics.
Love Jiminez' art but hate that he has to draw for hacks
His art has been the biggest thing for the character since Darwyn Cooke
So is JL v Legion supposed to be over by this point or is that comic just going to be delayed until the end of time? Not that I want to read it, but you gotta keep track of your suffering.
My bet is it is delayed.
It's Bendis' last line of frick yous
We can only hope. I don't know if it's sales where great or not but I'm definitely sure the initial plot was changed completely because it didn't fall in line with the current dark crisis event.
The vibe I've gotten is that it sells like shit. No buzz on social media, negative or positive, seems to sit on shelves in stores, few and mediocre reviews and no impact on the rest of the universe.
I'm half convinced that Bendis ran out of goodwill right before they started publishing it and DC just don't give a shit anymore. They're not going to rescue the Legion from him, but it seems likely that they won't allow him to do much more with them either.
NOOOOO YOU CAN'T HECKIN GIVE YOUR OPINION AND EVEN ATTEMPT TO GENERATE DISCUSSION JUST FRICKIN LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!!!!
Wow is Bendis out already? They made such a huge deal about it and it's only been a few years.
If DC STILL hasn’t figured out what a shitstain Bendis has been to their narrative, it’s beyond help
I hope so
I'm so HYPED for Dark Crisis
Black person
God im not going to buy any of these, makes me feel bad.
>Tie-in to the Flash movie
>Could be cool
Thanks for helping me disregard all of your opinions.
where's the FRICKING trades
