>DC/Hanna Barbera crossovers
Samurai Jack meets Batman? Nah, too cool.
Martian Man Hunter meets Ben Ten? Nah, way too cool.
Powerpuff Girls catch up with Wonder Woman? Would be too hype.
More SpaceGhost with the DC universe? Naaah.
Secret Saturdays meeting Beast Boy or Vixen? Pffft.
Herculoids meeting anyone? Birdman meets Hawkman?
Nah. What the fans want? They want Quick Draw McGraw calling Snagglepuss a homosexual.
We committed genocide Barney.
Thank you for calling the veterans' suicide hotline, please hold.
It was pretty good music.
>there are people on this board RIGHT NOW who didn't like the Flinstones comic
I think everyone liked that.
it was always psudeo-intelectual shit with a coat of woke politics
Yeah, hence everyone on Cinemaphile liking it.
This
Mark Russell isn't a writer, he's an engineer for Eisner bait
doesn't mean people here didn't like it. I got bored after the aliens came.
>woke politics
Only the first few issues. After the first 6 or 7 it got old fast. Russell just isn’t a good writer.
did they ever do a Jetsons comic?
They made the robot maid hot and also George's mom.
Just a one shot, for better or worse.
Threadly reminder Quick Draw has been a canon homosexual more times then Snagglepuss has
He was one in the comic too. But he’s in the closet and when he has to arrest Snagglepuss, who he had previously hooked up with, Puss makes an unsubtle remark about the hypocrisy. QuickDraw reacts like this out of fear of being outed to the other cops.
I can’t remember a single thing that happens after that.
The Flintstones, Catch the Pigeon, and Batman vs Fudd comics were decent at least.
>He didn't like Daffy trolling Lex
>He didn't like Batman having a fight with Elmer Fudd
>Or Jonah Hex befriending Yosemite Sam and Foghorn Leghorn
It wasn't Snagglepuss he called a homosexual, it was Huckleberry Hound. Who he also was in a relationship with
>Apparantly Luthor is Uncircumcised
Did Daffy just outright call him a israelite?
Nobody tell him. It's funnier.
>nobody noticed lex luthor's avatar is fricking mr. clean
>Batman vs Fudd comics were decent at least
Yeah...no
If anything it was a preview to how Tom King was going to turn Batman into a complete simp for a love interest.
Yeah, iirc in context he’s closeted and using the slur shows his self hatred and public performance of hate towards gays
every single thing that you've mentioned sounds boring as shit compared to picrel
No they don't.
Most of the DC Looney Tunes/HB comics were pretty good because they were clearly tongue in cheek, they were serious in a comical way.
At worst, it was just a bit of dark comedy like the Flintstones and the Dastardly & Muttley comic.
The Snagglepuss one was just serious, melodramatic even, and it was just uncomfortable to read.
>WB owns DC
>yet we never had Maxwell Smart meet Batman.
Imagine the potential
And lets not forget the time all the cat and bird themed heroes and villains came together to fight each other
Because of Sylvester and tweet
Did these ever get collected? The premise is ridiculous enough that I'd like to read them all at once but I'll be damned if I'm going to hunt down each individual issue.
There's a bunch of TPBs of the individual series, but they never did an omni or hardcover collection of all of them afaik.
Ben 10 arent hannabarbera dumbass
These Looney tunes crossovers had Jonah Hex shake hands and partner with Yosemite Sam after he punched a prostitute, so any criticism of them is invalid as far as I'm concerned.
Hanna-Barbera Beyond was so gay that it actually made me miss shit like Yo Yogi. I’m convinced WB just really hates the franchises they own and makes them as awful as possible.
>missing a prostitutemonger
In HB's case, I think they just don't know what the frick to do with the vast majority of those characters. Scoob! pretty definitively showed this
>Nah. What the fans want? They want Quick Draw McGraw calling Snagglepuss a homosexual.
Yes, because it's the best out of context panel ever. I dare say you could mistake it for something out of Blacksad.
Cartoon Network is not HB. But CN/DC crossovers do sound fun.
> Powerpuff Girls & Jon Kent
> Johnny Bravo & Wonder Woman
> Courage the Cowardly Dog and Scarecrow
> Adventure Time with Finn and Etrigan
> ATHF & Plastic Man
The Order of the Triad/Shadowpact.
the f word?
I just want more Green Loontern.
What about Captain Planet? How hasn't he crossed over into the DC comics yet?
He had a Marvel series.
No matter where I go I just cant escape Lenin
I liked this way more than just putting Hanna Barbera characters in the same room as other established characters. Also they did plenty of that too.
Kabong is great as a gay horse
Which he is in Jellystone and Harvey
I feel like in the old days, this panel would've been a banner.
This isn't real. Source?
Snagglepuss, It's basically what if Tenesee Williams was Snagglepuss and all about the Hanna Barbara line up being gay in the 50s to 60s.
the dick dastardly one is still my favorite of these sorts of comics
it's unironically one of the best things Ennis ever wrote.
It is proof that Ennis can actually tell a pretty fun comedy story if he isn't using grossout and cursing as a crutch.
Bump
I want Dick Dastardly calling Peter Perfect a homosexual.
>Drat drat, and double drat! That homosexual's evaded all our traps, Muttley!
>You sniveling homosexuals! The pigeon's getting away!
>Go Bots: The Battle of the gay Lords
