>Realities are collapsing and the TVA is choosing heroes from these dying worlds to put them in a universe (New Earth/Battleworld). Wolverine is choosen from the Fox Universe, meets an imprisoned Deadpool (locked up for wreaking havoc with Cable's time travel device) and they start their adventure together to save Wolverine's dying universe and friends.

Weren't Loki, Wandavision, What If, Secret Invasion, Agents of Shield, MPower, No Way Home and Dr Strange all supposed to be setups for Secret Wars?
And most of them were.
>Loki
Introduced Kang.
Wandavision
Introduced the Darkhold.
>What If
Explored the Multiverse.
>Secret Invasion, Agents of Shield, MPower
Those weren't supposed to set up anything.
>No Way Home
Introduced nostalgiabait.
>Dr Strange
Introduced incursions.
>Agents of Shield
Not made by Marvel Studios, outside of Fiege's sphere of influence (before he gained control of all Marvel) therefore not canon.
Covered arms or no, nothing is going to stop that costume from looking awful. The should've just stuck with the leather suits.
I'm amazed at how sloppily Disney went about it. Way too greedy.
yes, but dissney "leakers" and rumers are always fake
>Shawn Levy most likely to direct Deadpool 3
>Disney Insider here, believe what I say or not, you'll all know I was right.
>Deadpool will cameo in Multiverse of Madness
>Deadpool 3 will be directly influenced by the events of LOKI S2 and MoM
>So far in development, the film will focus on Deadpool using the time travel device he got in the last movie to get all of his buds and escape to the MCU since the fox universe is coming to an end because of the TVA/Kang
>Deadpool realizes when he time travels he creates another alternate universe like MCU rules dictate, so he grabs an alternate Hugh Jackman after X-Men: Origins and a few others
>Turns into an "on the run" ensemble type of movie which basically acts as a stepping stone for deadpool and friends to make it into the MCU
>Goth Emo teen girl, Colossus, Deadpool and Hugh Jackman are the only mutants from the Fox-Verse to make it out as of now though there is talk of having Laura/X-23 somehow do so as well
>Main Villain is Mr. Alternity who is the leader of the TVA's strike force, this time instead of Batons they will have laser weapons
>Deadpool and friends do get sent to the void at one point and its fricking hilarious
>It will be RATED R and it WILL be in the MCU
3 will be a direct sequel to 1 and 2
>Deadpool 2's post credit scene ties into 3, basically him going around fricking with Fox universe's timeline causes his universe and bunch of other parallels to begin to collapse, Fox universe completely blows up. Deadpool doesn't know Fox universe is permanently gone
>Deadpool gets captured by TVA while his universe collapses, basically they are pissed that he's fricking around with time and killed a ton of people
>They sit him down and basically explain have to find a way to incorporate him into the MCU (Basically their prime universe) now that he's homeless
deadpool causing the foxverse to collapse is pretty funny
There are no setups for anything in the MCU, they don't even tell the creators what other people are doing with the same characters.
They didn't even intend Kang and the Multiverse to be the focus of this "saga" until they saw the dailies from Ant-Man 3 and decided everyone was going to love it so they should build the new Avengers movies around him. Oops.
It's all made up on the fly, there is no plan.
That was always the case. Veil has just fallen from the MCUgays' eyes.
Dead on arrival
The next Wolverine needs to be half Hugh's size.
If they can get Dafne Keen to wear low rise black pants, a gold hoop belt and a black sports bra for 1 minute in the movie, people will go
>Dafne Keen
you straight moronic. she played Laura in Logan
Stop it, anon. She's still very young
I one hundred percent agree. They don't have the balls.
Don't worry guys, Kevin Feige and Ryan Reynolds have already created the most hideous tactical burka for Dafne Kino, and given her 1 minute on screen without any butt shots, because these gays hate women's butts
unacceptable
Isn't she 12?
not anymore, You one of those poor brainwashed souls convinced that anyone 2 years younger than you is a toddler?
>multiverse horseshit
Logan covering his arms is the most gay shit I ever seen
I read something about the covered arms was because of Jackman’s skin cancer and wanting to reduce his exposure to the sun or something.
I think Jackman is getting too old to dehydrate himself to make his muscles look hyper defined, doing that for so many movies probably took a couple of years off of his life lol
They have those virtual studios, I don't understand why they are filming in real locations given Hugh Jackman's health condition, Disney being Disney
Probably wants to reduce his skin cancer coming back, and while it was relatively benign in comparison to a lot of other forms of skin cancer it's still cancer, so protect as much skin as possible, that and he probably can't be as well defined muscularly because he's in his mid 50s.
I don't think Huge can be much of a Jackedman at his age. Also, skin cancer.
This is one of the few caved ins I'm okay with. His face is what matters
You really can't make this costume work in live action. Shit looks ridiculous no matter what you do. Wolverine's supposed to be cool and badass. You can't make him cool and badass with that fricking costume. Pic related worked just fine with the yellow.
Meanwhile... In Japan...
i kneel..
Does that shit look bright yellow and blue to you?
No, but this does.
Power Rangers are for kids, dude.
Comics are also for kids. I don't see your point.
They used to be. Now they're for nerds.
Debatable, but even if that were the case, why would you want comic book characters to have their design militarized and be made into something realistic and "serious"? Are you trying to seem grown up or something? Why wouldn't you just watch something that has those things from the get-go, instead of changing characters to fit into that "realistic" mold?
>Are you trying to seem grown up or something?
Dude, I am grown. That shit was fine when I was a kid, but I grew up. My tastes changed. I'm not gonna be watching cartoons and shit.
You did not answer my questions, lol. Seems like I was right on some of those. But anyways, if your tastes have really changed, why are you still clinging onto these characters? Seems like you still like the same things, but you seem ashamed of them. I'm gonna tell you a secret, most of the shit you liked as a 12-year-old, are still the shit when you grow up, Spider-Man, the X-Men, Power Rangers, Dinosaurs, all that shit is still cool and always will be.
Dude, people just grow out of things. I can enjoy the Spider-Man and X-Men movies just fine but I can't watch the cartoons. They're for kids and they feel like they're for kids. Shit's lame to me. I'll play the games and have a good time, but I ain't playing with no toys. People grow up and enjoy different things because of it. Not because of social pressure, but because you're a different person now compared to how you were as a kid.
Why not move on to literature then, or other franchises that are more "grown up", instead of wanting comic book characters to not look like themselves? I remember thinking that Wolverine's costume was lame when I was a kid funnily enough, and wanting to be seen as "grown up", but now that I have actually grown up and know more about comics, I prefer his comic design because it looks unique and fun, also it's staple of the character, there's no need to change it.
Is fanfiction literature? Because I don't see any official books where Logan fricks Laura like a good father should.
Me when I'm addicted to porn.
I very much am. I like to collect it. I don't even watch all of it, I use like 10% of what I have.
It mostly comes down to translating the character to a live action medium. That costume would look ridiculous no matter what. This
works fine while still keeping the yellow. You want teens and adults to watch your shit? Then you can’t have the characters look like Power Rangers.
If you want teens and adults to watch it, you have to change this moronic western culture of cool = realistic. This does not exist in Japan, for example. The costume does not look ridiculous to me, it does look ridiculous to the average person, but the average person is moronic, why would anyone want to appeal to morons besides making money?
People who want to make money.
Yes, I wrote that in the post.
>I can enjoy the Spider-Man and X-Men movies
Yikes, all these movies are garbage
Wolverine's supposed to be the cool tough guy anti-hero assassin dude. He needs to dress the part. Putting him in a bright yellow and blue suit makes him look ridiculous and lame.
The brown suit is the best. I shan't have it otherwise.
Maybe to you, to me, he looks cool as shit in yellow and blue.
I'm not going to pay to see Hugh Jackman, I want to see Wolverine. Do they think Hugh Jackman will sell the movie? Who will sell it is Wolverine
i mean this movie is supposed to be a sendoff to the foxverse itd be a bit to not have him in it
While I'd have preferred the costume being sleeveless, I still think it looks pretty decent and if Jackman wants to cover up for his health, then I'm not too mad about that. I just really hope they're gonna do the mask, too
The yellow and brown costume was always far better, anyways. The only reason the classic yellow and blue has stuck around is because Jim Lee brought it back for no real reason
The skin cancer meme sounds like bs.
This was probably the only day of location shooting, for which he could have worn spf 100k sunscreen for a few hours. The remaining 98% of the flick is in the shade of a soundstage. Or he could have been given green spandex to wear over his arms, to put buff nude arms over in post. More likely, the exposed arms are too comic-booky for MCU designers used to overdesigning with clunky techy lines.
I liked that the MCU did its own thing without the multiverse but they were inevitably gonna do it once the original Avengers were gone. I never thought it would get this bad. Everything involving the multiverse is a huge mess. The best thing they've done relating to it so far is NWH which is a mess and carried by nostalgia and Dafoe.
They're building a whole phase of these movies around nostalgia bait of getting back the old actors from 20 year old movies to meet up with the MCU cast, and once they've done the older Spider-Men and Deadpool there's nobody else who came close to that level of success. Most people never saw most of the other old Marvel movies and don't have the required nostalgia and affection for them. If bringing back Keaton as Batman won't get audiences to show up, what the hell chance is there of people showing up for cameos from the old Daredevil, FF and Ghost Rider movies, or anyone from X-Men that's not Wolverine or Deadpool?
It's not too late to just change plans and stop doing all this multiverse crap, even if it is too late for Deadpool 3.
if they just change plans midway thru theyre just gonna end up like the dceu
garner elektra is confirmed to be in it lol
>what the hell chance is there of people showing up for cameos from the old Daredevil, FF and Ghost Rider movies, or anyone from X-Men that's not Wolverine or Deadpool?
I noticed you didn't mention the only person who actually could bring audiences
Who are the non-MCU heroes that are going to be included in this film? Is Blade in?
Rumored cameos so far are
>Jennifer Garner as Elektra (actually confirmed)
>Jessica Alba as Sue Storm
>Chris Evans as Johnny Storm
>James Marsden as Cyclops
>Famke Janssen as Jean Grey
>Halle Berry as Storm
>Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier
>Ian McKellen as Magneto
>Channing Tatum as Gambit
Allegedly they approached Ben Affleck to appear as Daredevil, but he declined.
>DUDE LOOK AT THESE ACTORS!!! DO YOU REMEMBER??? LOOK!!!
this shit is going to belly flop so hard the lifeguard will ask it to leave of the pool
>Says the obsessed man for the 37th time this month
>Chris Evans as Johnny Storm
about as likely as RDJ returning for Superior Iron Man
>Halle Berry as Storm
Getting older all the time.
>Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier
Not likely if he's just going to die again. Might as well get McAvoy to do it.
>Ian McKellen as Magneto
Just get Fassbender to give him and McAvoy a sendoff.
>Channing Tatum as Gambit
Guess he'll have his Gambit movie after all, even if it isn't the solo movie that it was pitched as.
Probably not since Wesley Snipes and Ryan Reynolds do not like each other
why 🙁
Because on the set of Blade Trinity, Wesley Snipes treated the entire cast horribly, to the point where the director filmed every single scene that wasn't a closeup with Wesley's stand-in.
It was a bad attempt to set up more Blade sequels without Blade, and Snipes took it personally against Goyer that he refused to come to the set when called and was a general pain in the ass.
So is Wolverine going to be a main character in this? I can't help but feel he's only going to be in the movie for a sequence or for half the movie. We know anything about the other characters from the previous movies and if they're going to be doing anything either?
>So is Wolverine going to be a main character in this?
Yes, it's a Wolverine/Deadpool buddy adventure through and through, and it sets them up to appear in Secret Wars as well.
So they're both going to tie into the other Marvel stuff? I thought Deadpool was supposed to be an other kind of series. That it would be partially effected by the Marvel movie stuff but it wouldn't effect them directly. Weird to see them go back on that.
that's a very good way of meshing things together
I really thought Huge Jacked Man would have been able to say "no" and let Logan stand as his last Wolverine appearance
Ah well, I wouldn't turn down the massive amount of money he must be getting for Deadpool 3 either
It's a prequel to Logan technically. But yeah, neither him nor Patrick Stewart could say no to some dough.
i thougt it was an alternate version of him
I believe this is going to be good amd so will secret wars. Maybe not as good as infinite war. But this will finally serve as an "end"
I hope this is true. It sounds fun. Deadpool being locked up for his frickery already has me cracking up.
I haven't watched any of the shows I am so lost
the tva is basically a time and multiverse police
I keep forgetting Hugh Jackman is 6'3", not 5'3" like comic Wolverine.
quick edit made in paint but imo the suit would look less weird if it had the shorts and no shoulder pads
Yeah, this is the best way to bring X-23 from the FOX universe, unfortunately there are no more interesting ones
