Next fight is Misaka Mikoto from Toaru vs Killua Zoldyck from Hunter × Hunter, coming June 19.
Remember to report and ignore shitposters.
>Elder Scrolls when Swan thinks his universal curse wank Chosen Undead is going to win
What would you guy’s thoughts on the season so far
>Atom VS Ant
Good
>Chosen Undead VS Dragonborn
Fine as a matchup but the swank bullshit preemptively sours it.
>Killua VS Misaka
Shit
>Cole VS Alex
Good matchup
>Bill VS Chaos Horse
Fun matchup
So far, Ant man vs Atom was a solid ep, DB vs CU was meh, and I really don't give af about the next matchup.
Two fights so far and both are tainted by shit research and mindworms
As matches they were fun, but the reasoning/logic has just gone full VSBW tier wankery
I tend to only watch the animation, so I thought the first two were pretty cool. I found the drama surrounding CU v DB to be annoying since I had no doubt in my mind that CU was gonna lose. I love Raildex and HxH so I'm looking forward to that one as well, hoping for a Misaka win.
>Atom VS Ant
Decent
>Chosen Undead VS Dragonborn
Swank got buck broken by Kirkbride, 10/10
>Killua VS Misaka
Wat
>Cole VS Alex
Good
>Bill VS Chaos Horse
Eh
Fights have had problems, but so do most Death Battle episodes. Overall both were at least fun. Only speaking on animations, don’t care much about research and results.
Lame.
Swan did say he would like to do this in one of those ballot banters. Hmm, maybe this will end DC's losing streak.
Is it? I was about to bring up Superman vs Goku's viewcount to refute your post, but actually you might be right in a way. Goku vs Superman is one of those old east vs west things which people have discussed for a long time and continue to talk about. Ben vs Hal is something I only ever hear get brought up in relation to Deathbattle.
>Ant Man vs The Atom
Pretty decent. Loved the kill
>Undead Dragon
Didn't expect to like it as much as I did. Got a laugh a few times
>Killua vs Misaka
I just want Killua to lose, to be determined
>Billcord
Unsure, not out yet
>Colelex
Colecoin, going all in. Heard the animator or storyboard guy is a fan of both so have high hopes for a decent animation.
It would be really funny if Killua wins a match-up where he dies horribly haha. but for real is there any chance of Killua pulling out an upset?
I don't know if there is but I hope there is because my sisters like Killua
Depends, how strong/fast is Killua? (Misaka is Mountain level and MHS+ at her peak)
He's got an equal speed at his peak and is small town level.
It's not impossible for him to win because the only thing he's 100% outclassed in here is raw AP/durability.
Killua was able to rip a man's heart out without him realizing it. He doesn't have the top collateral damage feats though. Hunter Hunter is more about hax than "I can blow up a mountain". The world is filled with some fricked shit like the Dark Continent but Killua isn't that level either.
I think he and Gon once dug through a series of hill's with just a shovel as part of training or something
Yeah, HXH has never been about raw power as much as it has been about really specific rules and stuff
>Using Attack level nonsense.
Killua kills her in seconds just like her thousands of Misaka clones. Her durability is GARBAGE.
What are his matchups? I know Gon's matchups is Prime All-might or future Deku. It better not be another MHA matchup because that would confirm he's gay.
Killua’s popular matches that I tended to see were Akame (Akame Ga Kill), Black Star (Soul Eater) and Luck (Black Clover).
To my limited understanding he’s agreed to win against Akame, loses to Black Star, and I don’t think I’ve heard people discuss him against Luck, but I’ll assume Luck scales higher based on what they gave Asta.
>he’s agreed to win against Akame
False, Akame stomps hard in this one. Stat stomps super hard, Killua loses all his popular matchups.
His most popular are
>Misaka from Toaru (obviously)
>Akame from Akame Ga Kill
>Black Star from Soul Eater
>Luck Volta from Black Clover
>Yoh Asakura from Shaman King
>Yuma Kuga from World Trigger
Considering Misaka’s electricity power allow her to shut off a dude’s organ, I’m not sure that would work
Again don't really know though Killua did have wacky ass training with that sort of stuff so that might not work. How would Misaka handle getting her heart yanked out? Does she have means of tracking a sneaky opponent?
She could probably sense him if he’s using his lightning powers, since her powers allow her sense and track electric, magnetic, and electromagnetic phenomena.
But if Killua isn’t using powers, and manages to get Misaka to lose him… she might be fricked
Yeah that's the thing with Killua which might be his only chance. Dude's whole schtick is he is from a family of hyper assassins that could kill you with a fricking threading needle from a distance.
He is also no slouch on the raw physical strength front. Before he even got nen training he was able to push 16 tons on his own.
Idk about the last three but the first three are a fricking slaughter. Not that I mind, I personally hate the psychopathic little frick with a vengeance.
I know very little of Misaka but maybe his assassination shenanigans might steal a win?
Yeah, I'm kinda hoping for him to win
If they go for full wank, they could give him Jump scaling, as he's been in several of the crossover games, which means he'd scale to SSGSS Goku, Vegeta, and Golden Freiza, as well as Jotaro, Dio, and Seiya.
The real thing is having a versatile moveset is huge in Death Battle, and Misaka has that. Killua also has a lot of stamina, but his Nen will run out if he isn't getting shocked, which will drastically cut down his power.
My bet was right
Hoping Constantine vs raidou is the next matchup.
kek, I remember KLK airing and shitposting about them having similar colors. I can't believe someone took that seriously and made it to this day, that meme lasted like a week.
>It's Waifugays vs Fujos the death battle
You know what I'm looking forward to it just for the banter between the two will they not pussy out and make Killua a Mysoginist?
The next fight has been requested for a long time by at least one autist in the Youtube comments. Maybe all our never-evers can happen, bros
"one autist in the Youtube comments" got us the likes of Shadow vs Ryuko, I hope they stop listening to them.
Anon, they built a whole Discord just for those people to shout at them all day
>Swan needs to be given complete control over everything
Why do people simp for swan so much?
They echo chambered themselves so they think shitty literally who matches are actually incredibly popular.
>Why do people simp for swan so much?
Isn’t it obvious? He made the most Iconic episode of the series.
so i have swan to thank for halgays becoming schizophrenic
Yes, yes you do
Bengays deserved it. For years they put themselves on a pedestal because they saw babies first reality warper, they needed to be toppled.
wasn't that also heightened thanks to a video saying Ben could beat both Goku and Superman (he can't)
Which was made by a massive bengay, again, they saw their first reality warper and thought nothing else like it could possibly exist. Much like DBZgays when they saw planet busting for the first time and thought no one else could possible achieve that.
Sad thing is that these people hold massive sway in the fanbase. “People” just parrot what he and nemesisbloodryche say. I’ve literally had people tell me that my opinions are wrong because one of them said so.
>I’ve literally had people tell me that my opinions are wrong because one of them said so.
Do you remember what you were talking about? I'm curious to hear what you were so "wrong" about.
I said I liked Godzilla vs Eva 01 as a matchup. Someone got pissy and said nemesis said it was bad. I asked them why I should care about the opinions of a youtuber I don’t watch. They couldn’t think of any of their own arguments.
I don’t even watch Biff or Nemesis but I know a lot of their opinions because their fans fricking parrot them as gospel with the actual word for word argument being “They think this and so should you”
While I disagree a lot with those youtubers, they at least have the tendency to try and preface anything super controversial by saying “don’t just parrot what I say, have your own opinion”.
Like most youtubers, it doesn’t work.
>They couldn’t think of any of their own arguments.
This is ultimately why I dislike their fans. None of them think for themselves. They copy-paste someone else's written explanations, and fail to even give a modicum of resistance to defend them. It's no fun when they just fold.
Seriously, as soon as you start to disagree or just ask why they think that they immediately give up because they didn’t think anyone would question their lords and saviors. When all it takes to shut someone down is to ask “why should I agree with them?” then they have zero argument.
I’m neutral on biff and nemesis, biff has been annoying me lately with his swan worship but that aside I don’t watch them so I don’t care. Their fans don’t hold any real opinions of their own, they’re like the redlettermedia fans who wait for Mike and Jay to tell them what they think so they can imitate them.
Calling them parrots is an insult to parrots, parrots are very smart animals and associate words and sounds with actual emotions and meaning.
Whatever happened to just liking a matchup? Now you always have to have a novel's worth of connections to justify why you like a certain matchup.
>Goku, in his strongest form, fires a full power Kamehameha
>his opponent can absorb energy, his opponent does so
>Goku wasted a frickton of ki for no real reason
Or
>Goku in his strongest form, fires a full power Kamehameha
>his opponent wasn't completely vaporized so they just come back good as new
>Goku wasted a frickton of ki for no real reason
Both of these have happened before and both were promptly followed by Goku getting his shit kicked in.
>uses his fist instead
gg
>uses his fist instead
>Cell used far less power regenerating from that attack than Goku used to create that attack
>Cell beats the shit out of Goku until he forfeits because he knows he can't beat Cell in the state that he's in
This made me remember that once I had a dream about a Death Battle episode of Goku vs someone else who had a pasive energy absorbing power and Goku was winning during almost all the battle but then the moron used a full power Kamehameha against him which only gave his enemy a ultra amp and then he just killed Goku in the same way Superman killed Zod in that Snyder movie.
that's just Goku vs Super 17 but without Goku stopping acting like a moron and just dragon fisting the fricker
Yep. That video said that Ben could scan Goku or Supes and become the peak example of a Saiyan/Kryptonian or Alien X would just think them away
I think the logic of becoming a peak Saipan or Kyrptonian like that is kind of stupid. Like Goku has plenty of things to him that aren’t directly related to being a Saipan, and therefore wouldn’t be accounted for. Likewise with Superman.
They also both resisted existence erasure before so that's a dumb arguments. There was also claim that if he did achieve those forms, that he could just use the Ultimate transformations to make them even stronger. But that'd just something similar to Doomsday then.
I'm schizophrenic
I′m not schizophrenic
There's ten of me but I swear
We're not schizophrenic
That song starts out OK but when the vocals kick in it starts to really suck, doesn't fit the episode
I like the track on its own, disregarding the bizarre lyric choices, but it doesn’t do it’s episode much favors.
most of the music they use have really weird lyrics. The lyrics I've noticed are the most superficial aspect. They usually just describe the most obvious aspect of the people the song is about. Like if they have a helmet you bet your ass all the lyrics will be about how shiny it is.
>Halgays
>Plural
I know for a fact that it's just one moron who got hung up on the episode. Every other GL fan I've seen doesn't care that much.
>Full control Swank
The only positive thing would be that Giorno would give Joker from Persona the kino "death" of experience every past loser death.
I’m pretty sure even with the hardest wank, Persona scaling still outclasses Jojo by like, a country mile.
It’s just like CU vs LD
The biggest thing here is speed. Even if he’s a million times weaker, if you can somehow get Kira to significantly faster than Adachi he has a one-hit kill move.
He shouldn’t be, but that’s an angle they could tackle.
Doesn't really work. Kira himself is not that fast and the stand has a short range even if you want to wank its speed. Plus Kira's first instinct is to run the frick away when an engagement happens.
Adachi on the other hand as vastly superior range with persona's and is capable of just fricking carpet bombing the area if he runs.
Only if you do smt which you shouldn't. Giorno should be able to beat joker with ger. Joker failed against yaldaboath, couldn't resist maruki's hax, and only beat him because maruki wanted to play fair.
Hax > ap
Depends if Persona gets scaled to SMT (it shouldn't but might). If it does, Swan's in for another Scrolls style beatdown on Jojo.
I know some evidence that SMT and Persona take place in the same universe, but idk how valid it is
>take place in the same universe
goku, satan and a random farmer live in the same universe. doesn't mean much or scale them to each other.
or is it a super smash bros-style crossover and they fight together or each other?
Takes place in the same multiverse (smt if), but joker does not scale to yhvh or any of the other guys.
The persona fans are hardcore wankers. The game contradicts their shit completely. The only reason they've haven't been fraud checked is no one wants to go through 100 years of social simulator to see if they're spewing bullshit.
Playing Devil’s advocate, the episodes he directs have a tendency to at least be somewhat better animation wise then the episodes surrounding them, at least Dio VS Alucard and (outside of the really stupid start and finish) Tanjiro VS Jonathan. This guy here is also on record as saying he doesn’t really care that much about the animation.
With that said, do not give this guy that much control, at all.
Biff's a known swan cuck
What even is that stupid cuck avatar? Why do these degenerates always have them?
The animation wasn't even good and felt petty by painting the Dragonborn as the bad guy. How is this guy so impressed by Swan?
Ah, I was wondering when this would be posted. It was the first thing I saw yesterday after the fight leaked here and I went looking for sycophant takes.
Damn that's grim. But I hope DB does it.
Go full moronic or don't.
Why is he posting this about a matchup where Swan absolutely did NOT have the final say in the winner?
>Why is he posting this about a matchup where Swan absolutely did NOT have the final say in the winner?
You overestimate the average IQ of the typical DB fan by at least 60 points.
Could he beat Alien X?
i don't know. alien x made a facsimile of the universe but that was reality warping. he fought the galactic gladiator or whatever and that involved galactic power. meanwhile what iftron reality warped across the universes and fought uatu and that involved galactic power.
they're basically the fricking same
Easily
Infinite Ultron is for Heaven Ascended DIO
Unless Alien X and move them to a new universe I don't think so. There really isn't alot it can do against the stones. If Alien X moves them to another universe the stones would be useless and Alien X could beat him easily.
That's not how the stones work in the MCU, you can go back in time and take the infinity stones from the past to the future and they'll still work.
Infinite Ultron punched the Watcher into multiple different universes too, so it's not just same universe different timeline shit.
WoG on Ultron still being powered up outside of the stones' original universe was him buffing himself since technically he was made of material from that universe specifically
That's probably just because the universes were so parallel that the stones could function in them. Loki confirmed stones don't work outside their home universe.
Basically it's all one timeline and they are all technically one universe. So Alien X could move Ultron to a completely new universe and nullify the stones.
Alien x had better feats so no
Probably not since his body is rather weak
Statements the verse? Nope. Infinite Ultron blinks and the jojoverse goes bye bye
No. He gets stalemated by someone who shouldn't even be close to IG levels. The MCU stones just suck.
Speaking of Liam, i actually got a list of every episode he wrote/oversaw

For a guy who's into DC so much, he sure does suck shit when it comes to properly directing the abilities and powers DC characters have.

Right.
>Hulk VS Broly
>Gogeta VS Vegito
Debatable
>DIO VS Alucard
>Tanjiro VS Jonathan Joestar
>Black Adam vs Apocalypse
Wrong
I think the thing that gets me with Tanjiro VS Jonathan and Dio VS Alucard is that if you go with more reasonable stats, both Jonathan and DIO still have win conditions (Jonathan can use Hamon to shut Tanjiro down and forces close combat, and DIO is still way faster even without being FT and can stop time), so you can still argue they win. But they just decided to pull out all the stops to make it seem like unambiguous stomps.
and yet that gay motherfricker still refuses to use the island level feat from the OFFICIALLY RELEASED Phantom Blood movie
Isn’t that lost media, or am I thinking about something else?
yes but some footage exists online including the island level feat done and since it was officially released as it was shown in cinemas that means it's as useable as the OVA
I’d argue it’s way too different to count, but the OVA’s were also dramatically different, so I suppose if OVA’s are counted, so should the movie (though I’d argue neither should be).
>Gogeta VS Vegito
>Debatable
homie the fricking series itself says earrings>dance
>worst episode here is Black Canary VS Sindel for being really fricking boring
Season 7 really was the worst of capeshit, it just felt like they threw random comic matches in without care. Like even if they were good matches, it just felt like they didn’t care and didn’t even make them good. Sindel VS Canary, Genos VS War Machine, Crona VS Venom, Batgirl VS Spider-Gwen…
10 episodes out of the 20 episode season involved them.
Why they decided to put Black Canary against Sindel instead of Black Bolt?
>But is a mega stomp
So is Flash vs Quicksilver
Lots of requests for BC vs Sindel; nothing really for BC vs BB
Black Bolt is for Tyroc anyway
Black Bolts most popular is actually Zebra for Torkio
Connections:
>Powerful Superhuman Warriors who live by a code of honor and are regarded as royalty, while also being part of a group of superhuman warriors (The Inhumans and The Four Heavenly Kings)
>In their life time spent amongst the group of said superhuman peers, they had developed a sense of trust and strong bond with an individual who would in the long run be regarded to be one of their most trusted allies (Medusa for Black Bolt as she would also become his wife and Toriko for Zebra as he is the only one to truly understand him fully as a person despite his violent tendencies)
>Before their ascendence to the role of king, they experienced a lifetime of hardship during their youth which helped mold them into the strong willed leaders they are now (Black Bolt being separated from his parents & isolated from the rest of the Inhumans society because of his inability to control his voice before learning to fully master it after years of disciplined training and Zebra growing up for most of his life as orphan in the streets before being taken in to be raised as well as trained by Ichiryu)
>Their main and most iconic power is based around the sound of their voice which could destroy nearly anything in their path with just a mere whisper
>Toriko character being most popular for anything
Any jokes aside seems like a fine enough match. I feel like Black Bolt easily wins unless Toriko is massively stronger than I’ve been led to believe.
Yea, Black Bolt obliterates
Don't know the extent of BB wank but Toriko gets pretty fricking wacky near the end like NEO wank with it eating a universe and stuff
I think there's stuff in Toriko that could take Black Bolt but Zebra isn't really I've of them. They allude to his appetite demon casually destroying planets with it's shouts in a past life but Zebra himself never reaches that level.
Doesnt Zebra take part in the endgame stuff and eat Acacia's full course meal for the most part?
He helps in the background, but gets no real scaling to Acacia/Neo and end game Toriko. He's probably below Midora and Joie, as are Coco and Sunny. They probably would have gotten stronger if the manga continued but it didn't.
>most popular is akshully [literal who]
>ensuing wall of text muh cunekshuns
Autism
Canary/Sindel have the femme fatale connection on top of being WB properties/screamers. Also their husbands are both huge buttholes.
Just going over the first few eps he did.
>Ultron/Sigma
Filler ep
>MMBR
Filler ep
>Ben/GL
Other than the weak track, it's cool
>GR/Lobo
Godlike voice acting (from both), a bit weak in terms of actual clashes
>Ganon/Drac
"You're right! You're not a man...you're a Pig!"/10
>Deadpool/Mask
Not too bad for a meme episode, I just wish they actually fought more.
What you mean in terms of correct outcome or quality/fun of animations?
Quality of course. Idc for accuracy, especially when the team likes to say Death Battles are made to be entertaining first, accurate second
Well pretty much all of them have absolutely trash logic so in terms of just fight animations
>Ultron VS Sigma
Fine
>Megaman Royale
Fine
>Ben 10 VS Green Lantern
Shit ending. Should have had Hal clash with Alien X and win that way
>Rider VS Lobo
Good
>Dorf VS Drac
Great
>Deadpool VS Mask
Fun

Skipped it and don't care to check
>Cable VS Booster

Alright
>Heihachi VS Geese
Alright
>Blake VS Mikasa
Dull
>Batman VS Iron Man
Good
>Goku Black VS RF
Great
>Madara VS Aizen
Nice. Both of them having a good time by the end was fun
>Saitama VS Popeye
Entertaining even though Swan's popeye voice was meh
>Witch VS Zatanna
Good
>Thor VS Vegeta
Alright. Music carries it
>Omniman VS Homelander
Kinda dragged but you got what you expected. Just Omniman fricking shit stomping Homelander for 98% of the match
>Fett VS Predator
Dull
>Bond VS Wick
Okay
>Bob VS Aquaman
Fun
>Undead VS Dragonborn
Okay but ending was lacking and didn't really play with Dragonborn's arsenal much.

Great outside of that crackhead Alucard jpg near the end
>Tanjiro VS Jonathan

>Obi Wan breaking out of the Genjutsu by saying “Be Mindful Of Your Thoughts Obi Wan. They betray you.”
Kino
Does Asura beat Atrocitus?
Probably. Atrocitus doesn't really have any feats or even defined abilities
Not watching that awful animation
Did chosen undead win?
No.
Yes.
the Jobber Undead is now Permanently Dead
Nope
No, the Dragonborn curbstomped him so much that he just gave up on resurrecting
What are matchups you’ll never understand
Makima vs Tooru
Non-human, manipulative villains that work behind the scenes with powers that make them untargetable. I mean I get it. I don’t think it’s good (I have no idea how they’d manage to do the fight), but like I get it.
>I don’t think it’s good (I have no idea how they’d manage to do the fight)
Exactly, the connections are fine, but the actual animation potential is unworkable
Zero vs Meta Knight
Most weeb fights are just random bullshit
Unstoppable punchy red guys
Sword focused frenemies
but Zero hasn't ever been an enemy to X in canon besides once because they couldn't come up with a good reason for them to fight in the non-corrupt route
Knuckles isn’t unstoppable. Juggernaut’s power is literally being an irresistible force once he gets in motion
Choreography wise seems a mess. But I would love the idea of having the power scale be Marvel > Archie > Dragon Ball Heroes
I can’t wait until Denji vs Yuji
I'm not particularly looking forward to Denji dying, hopefully part 2 gives him something to work with.
He always dies
I think Denji takes it. He can keep reviving and just eat away at Yuji (literally) until he's stronger or he's weaker. Hell he can even 2v1 him or hang Yuji from a telephone pole when he least expects it.
Denji is absolutely not taking it. One black flash and he's out. He tries to revive and regenerate, he will get the Mahito treatment.
How is Black Flash going to do anything to him when Pochita is around? If anything, Yuji tries to touch his "soul" and Sukuna's going to get his ass devoured. The last time someone tried messing with it they got vored.
>when Pochita is around?
The hell does this mean? Pochita didn't do shit when Denji was fricking bisected and out cold.
I'm referring to the soul touching. That's just going to flip the switch for Pochita AKA The Hero of Hell to come out and devour Yuji whole. He's got a better track record against strong demons, like the Nazi Devil and Nuclear Weapons Devil.
Ah ok. Why wouldn't black flash just kill Pochita? He's weakened normally and never came out even when the Curse Devil or Darkness Devil did some crazy shit to Denji.
>Why wouldn't black flash just kill Pochita?
He'd be way too tanky for one BF to merk him. Even repeated assaults from Makima and Yoru (prior to him fusing with Denji) didn't put him down, not to mention that the Blacks' whole soul targeting thing isn't even an insta-kill in the first place.
>He's weakened normally
Not really. Even PochitaDenji was moderately stronger than DenjiDenji, and when he went full HOH he was at his relatively full strength without any needed buffs. I'm pretty sure he's always in a "battle ready" state, he just doesn't do much.
>never came out even when the Curse Devil or Darkness Devil did some crazy shit to Denji.
True, but neither of them really attacked Pochita directly, and they weren't exactly a permanent danger to Denji either. However, a soul based attack like the BF is going to set him off since he'd more than likely recognize that what they're fighting is a big threat.
I meant as Denji's heart, Yuji seems like he can just pop it before HOH. As HOH, I'm not sure Pochita could even touch Yuji when Makima was able to send him to space with her bang attack.
She needed him to already be airborne and launched to send him that far, though I'm not sure how that'd help Yuji.
>Yuji seems like he can just pop it before HOH.
Denji can live without his heart, even if it's for a short period of time. He outright threw it to send Pochita back to Earth, and he was fine the entire time. Guy was even still fully transformed. It'd really just put Denji on a time limit, but he might be able to regen it after downing some blood.
>She needed him to already be airborne and launched to send him that far, though I'm not sure how that'd help Yuji
True but he was being knocked around by the hybrids while he was standing. For someone of Yuji's power, it would not be very difficult to blitz Pochita and keep him off his feet.
>It'd really just put Denji on a time limit, but he might be able to regen it after downing some blood
Yeah it'd depend on his access to blood. He showed some tricks in part 2 where he was able to revive himself but Yuji has him beat in speed and would probably intercept any attempt.
>but he was being knocked around by the hybrids while he was standing
Not...really? The entire fight he was tanking their biggest blows without moving an inch. He only moved to either dodge or because Reze was flying him upwards, but he wasn't exactly getting swept off his feet by their attacks. In fact it was just two chapters of Pochita slaughtering the Hybrids without breaking a sweat.
I also don't think Yuji is going to be able to knock Denji down that easily, especially not since he's taken this on. The speed difference might make things really troublesome for Denji though, his only good "AOE" attack is swinging his arms around.
>and would probably intercept any attempt.
How would he be able to do that? If Denji needed blood he could always suck on one of Yuji's dismembered limbs, and I don't think he'd be immediately aware of his blood based regeneration.
He was slaughtering the hybrids but there was a panel where he was standing on the roof and not a moment later, Reze has him in the air. Even if he is durable, he isn't a complete immovable thing to weaker foes which would make him vulnerable to blitzes by characters who are stronger and faster.
>How would he be able to do that? If Denji needed blood he could always suck on one of Yuji's dismembered limbs, and I don't think he'd be immediately aware of his blood based regeneration.
Yuji doesn't have to be immediately aware since it's not like Denji is going to one tap him. Yuji decapitates Denji, Denji controls the severed head with a chain to get blood, Yuji could quickly learn what's up.
>He outright threw it to send Pochita back to Earth, and he was fine the entire time.
It's not exactly how it happened. When HoH Pochita throws his heart back to Earth, that one regenerates its body and that's the one we see for the rest of the manga, we actually don't see what happens to the old body.
PochitaDenji and regular Denji didn't stay separated for that long, only for the entire cemetery fight.
I think the way Death Battle will make it work is they will use part 2 Denji because of how strong and experience he is, but then he'll rip out his heart to summon in Pochita who will be in his full Hero of Hell form because they want to use characters in their strongest form.
Although this all depends on when they make the episode. Because we might see HoH Denji at the end of part two, because he and the horsemen are going to have to buff Yor somehow, which might be by having him vomit out all those war-related Devils.
I always assumed that the heart HOH threw was Pochita, and when it regenerated, Denji was heartless and sustaining himself via Power's blood. Course could always be wrong, Fuji never went through with explaining what happened to the body yet.
>but then he'll rip out his heart to summon in Pochita
I don't think they'd need to go that far. It could just go something like this.
>Yuji has Denji on the ropes and hammering him with Cursed Techniques
>Hits him with Black Flash as a supposed Finisher
>Cue internal confrontation with Pochita and Sukuna talking about how touching souls is a no-no
>Yuji backs up after feeling the reverb from Pooch
>Denji revs his chain and busts out the HOH so Pochita can protect him
>Sukuna takes over so the fight now becomes Sukuna vs Pochita
I think him ripping out his heart would only really work if he was already transformed. If he tries to do it normally as a summon he might just kneel over because...well he just tore out his heart with no way to sustain himself.
Reze brought him into the air via flying and grabbing him. He's not immovable, sure, but he wasn't exactly being ragdolled by the Hybrids. They had to actually remove the ground below him in order to really do anything, and even that didn't work because he just grabbed them all.
I also think we should figure out where Denji is going to get his blood supply from. It can't be civvies because that'd go against his general character, and unless the two are fighting a swarm of Devils/Curses before going against each other I don't think him munching on a dead devil would make much sense. I don't wanna just say "Denji'll bite the head off of some school kid for a quick health boost".
The devils and curses could just be randomly wandering when they're smacking each other through buildings. If that isn't the case, there's always the techniques he used on Falling Devil to get blood.
First of all Yuji had to fight with Todo against Mahito. Secondly Denji’s thing against the Eternity Devil showed he’s way better at Yuji’s over and over again threat
I think the big thing is that if Sukuna is included, he could probably reduce Denji down to chunks and bits he can’t regenerate from on his own, or at least not quickly (unless his regen has gotten better in Part 2, haven’t kept up) which would probably be enough to quality for a death here.
I think it’s gotten better. And he has a motorcycle now
He, or at least, Pochita, was able to keep reviving even after War/Yoru was killing him non-stop. He also survived a hit from the Roach Devil without needing to heal up, so his defense and overall regeneration is way better now.
He doesn't even have Sukuna anymore
Yuji about to die like the miserable cuck he is
Is Gojo vs Makima still a popular matchup? I know basically nothing about those two and their respective series, but Gojo has a cool design. So if he wins against the demon waifu I'd be happy.
It very much is the popular MU for both, I don't know who actually wins though
>Is Gojo vs Makima still a popular matchup?
Yes, and it has a chance of happening before Denji vs Yuji, (especially this season with the lotus flower symbol)
As for if it’s good, that depends on who you ask
It's popular, but they somehow have even less in common than Killua and Misaka do. It's a terrible match.
From a quick research, Killua power and durability is city level at best. Lightning speed at best.
Misaka power and durability mountain at least. She dodged laser beams.
Seems pretty clear cut.
Universal Samus is only with a specific weapon she got from a god
Everyone is MFTL and Multiversal these days. You don't even have to be able to dodge arrows or break down walls anymore to reach this tier. All you need is some questionable statement and some "cosmology scaling" and if people disagree with it you just call them downplayers and you win.
In fact you don't even need cosmology scaling if you know what you're doing because you can just posit the claim that real life is a multiverse and then cite some pop-sci video off Youtube,
>Island Level feat in the lost phantom blood movie
Did someone finally find it? Frick the feat I just wanted to see the Movie the trailer actually looked decent
Not that I know of. I think the island feat comes from one of the scenes which have been found.
>moronic Wankcanon
Jesus. Try not to be obvious, moronic one.
Making the good guy villain, really?

Luffy is goku tier per their crossover. But yeah he soloes the narutoverse
>using a crossover
Warm Piss wankers are delusional.
Naruto is stronger than Goku, however. Chakra speeds are far superior than anything in Dragon Ball.
OH NONONONONONO SWANKBROS WE GOT TOO wienerY!
>this fight was Swan's white whale
So he chased after it like a moron despite everyone telling him what the conclusion would be and ended up losing anyway, very true to the text
Tbf, the G1 Blog was close, (9vs11), and Dark souls guy had a argument, it’s just, LD was better because ScrollsScaling bro
Tbf, name the last time we had a character on the show with a direct on screen multi feat
HA Dio vs Infinity Ultron was close, I thought
True to the text, Moby Dick won. Poetic.
How exactly are hollows immortal in Dark Souls? How does Liam explain Horace dying permanently in Dark Souls 3 after going hollow? How does he explain the hundreds of dead hollow corpses spread around the Dark Souls world? He legit just used gameplay mechanics to force this match up into being a thing.
Holy fricking shit dude.
Predict what the death of Killu vs Misaka would be
>If Killua wins
Does the iconic heart steal and places it back in her hand after she dies
>Misaka
Killua gets disintigrated by a huge ass lighting
With killua killing misaka, I would expect lots of evisceration and screaming. All the budget would go directly to the death scene
>Misaka actually wins? I don't give a shit make her death even gorier, oh and have the VA scream as if she was being murdered IRL
>B-But sir the backlash!!
>May I remind you I was the one who hired and paid you Liam
>Y-Yes sir me and the research team will revise our research to make it sound like it's a close fight
>Good
I find it funny that they manage to even put country level feats and call them impressive in characters that they also claim to be multiversal.
Hero of Kvatch vs Tarnished?
Isn't the Hero of Kvatch just a dude
I know he becomes Sheogorath later on but still
He mantled Pelinal Whitestrake who fought demigod elves.
I say pre-Sheogorath CoC is a fair opponent for the Tarnished
Tarnished has an unfair advantage because of ressurective immortality. Dragonborn would be a better match up because he can't die unless another dragon takes his soul.
>Naruto is stronger than Goku
All Naruto has to be is faster than Goku. Which he is when you consider chakra can move across dimensions and has been reacted to.
Haki does the same thing as seen in Film Red. Sasuke and Naruto are only as fast as Usopp
Sakura has reacted to it too so, cool? I guess both Naruto and One Pieced have infinite speed.
>Which he is when you consider chakra can move across dimensions and has been reacted to
This moronic argument again? You literally got BTFO'd last time by multiple people and went hiding for a few months. You really want to try this again? Also, the strongest feat in Naruto is slicing the moon in half, and the moon in Naruto is hollow.
Oh so infinite speed arrows from skyrim count but chakra doesn't? Die.
They don’t count. Dragonborn is max building level
Yeah well Vecna from Stranger Things reacts to thoughts from another dimension but I don’t call him faster than photon so why would I call Sasuke that?
>video toys canon
There is your first mistake. Anybody can be wanked to the fricking moon.
What wank? Omnipotence has been confirmed to have infinite speed in Boruto.
>[HEADCANON] interpretation
See? Do you see?
>Headcanon
lol? We literally have seen it multiple times already. Ada literally sent those waves to Code who is in a different dimension.
>they are unironically claiming that normal people in naruto have infinite speed
Holy frick. I hate tranime and weebs.
But universe level chosen undead is somehow ok? Naruto also fought characters that put a Sun in the sky. Kaguya did that 6 times apparently.
I love that Sephiroth WARPS his doubters. Negativity only fuels him.
>Can’t even beat the other SS buster
Lol, lmao even

Yeah, my apologies for the small wait. It was hard to find proper stuff for the monkey king/Buddha comparisons

Ooh, nice, thank you.
Sasuke literally reacts to chakra that comes from another dimension before it breaks the ground. How exactly is that not a speed feat?
That chakra speed "feat" that this dipshit is trying to push is moronic. I am pretty sure that even civillians reacted to that chakra wave. Does that make them lightspeed?
It's the game that were playing, I'm sorry. Omnipotence in Boruto sends energy across a chakra network that gods can control from other dimensions. We've seen it happening when Kaguya did it when she took chakra from those ninjas in the real world onto her genesis dimension.
Chakra has infinite speed and has been reacted to. I'm sorry if Dragon Ball is slow.
Chakra can be as small as the strings binding a cell. I don't mean cell; I mean the EXTRA thin strings keeping the cell together.
Luffy has toon force. He beats Naruto, Goku and Ichigo now.
I think that’s why I don’t like Natsu vs Luffy
Natsu’s forms are so shit. I don’t wanna see Gear 5 fight Fire Lightning whatever mode. I wanna see it fight Baryon or SoSP
Natsu is way above Luffy and Naruto tho.
Hah no. Natsu MAYBE beats Deku. At best.
With wank gloves are off Natsu might for real be universe level.
Poor FTgays. Always playing second fiddle to actual shonen jump series
No no, we are gonna wank him like Luffy and Naruto.
Kek. Natsu beats both Naruto and Luffy. Cry more.
Sub Doflamingo level
But enough about Luffy. Natsu easily beats him.
Not really. There’s not much Natsu can do. He’s also boring fighting wise. Onky has fire
>"onky"
Still beats Luffy.
Well no since Natsu’s feats are sorta shit
His forms are still pretty lame in comparison. Nothing looks as good as a Naruto form
That makes sense considering that at his peak, his fire can burn space-time itself
We have tho
>That makes sense considering that at his peak, his fire can burn space-time itself
I used to be against this sort of reasoning but it's what Death Battle uses to create monstrosities that are universe level chosen undead and MFTL Jojo characters. Frick it.
They also gave the CU light speed over him being able to dodge those slow ass spells.
Let me fricking repeat this. They said the Chosen Undead is light speed because you can dodge Divine Pillars of Light in Dark Souls 3.
What a fricking joke.
Well yeah it’s obviously it’s why no one makes fanart of Natsu vs Luffy with G5
Because Natsu would win
Oh no it’s because FT fights suck and their transformations are shit
I'm ok with both Naruto and Luffy having infinite speed since they're giving wank like candy to everything. Why shouldn't these two also be given that?
At both these characters wouldn't be stuck inside a medieval cell and forced to escape through a cave filled with rats like in Elder Scrolls or Dark Souls.
Fricking multiversal level rats lmao
Bring me Baphomet.
>people wasting time here instead of being in a war dying for their israeli masters
But enough about Ben Grimm.
Did you post this from a different phone?
>t. newbie
I can give two shit about Jaun Piss.
I think he should've went for the disarm shout THEN get silenced so it'd make sense why he was shouting. Then clear skies to stop the flame, or actually a MUCH better ending would be as the darkness spreads he does the call and you see the sky start to part and little rays of light come through. But swank wanted DB to be the bad guy so
So uh is no one is going to talk about the next fight?
What for? Nobody cares about it
Got nothing to say, I'm a big Toaru fan and a big HxH fan but this seems pretty clear cut. I just hope to see more Toaru on the show someday.
>SHITper gayrio
Jobs to CHADnic.
>Bitchnic the RatHOG
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
yeah bro your dorkly level garbage where sonic wasnt given solaris, generations or the advance games for no fricking reason while mario was given a feat from his cartoon definitely means mario wins.
even just the games the fat italian b***h cant touch CHADnic
counting everything i mean i dunno man the only red motherfricker beating archie is wally.
Private Snafu vs. Private McGillicuddy
Gamera? Sub Fang level
Bring me Saber
Are you really going to keep doing this shit
It is your repentance for gamera wank
Oh, so it's wank when I do it?
Saying gamera can beat any Godzilla not named GINO or Shin is wank. Gamera is T. rex shit tier, as in Fang turned him into it.
You wanna play that game?
streamable link went down
Reminder Superman is 4D and DC high tiers are 6D
>Superman is 4D
99.9% of characters in fiction are 4D because they exist in space-time which is 4D.
The 0.1% literally look at 4D beings like flatlanders.
Would your favorite character survive this?
????
Mario logs in, can they survive?
>yfw God Fusion
Will you put your fingers on the screen to help goku beat up Milkman Supes or Composite Ryu?
Is dab to frick up the fusion
Goku would never fuse with you listBITCH!!
obsessed
Natsu would have found the one piece years ago
No he wouldn't have, first off because any time he's in a moving vehicle he's useless, second off because he's an idiot who doesn't value his friends as much as Luffy despite all the PoF wank. He would probably kick whoever his navigator is off the boat for some innocuous thing and then it gets destroyed by Grand Line shenanigans. Yes I am still mad about that tournament arc 2v1.
Gajeel isn't his friend
Now, it's been a hot minute since I've played Dark Souls, but... In the video they said that the CU isn't technically undead, it's just a conspiracy. But I'm fairly certain I remember that the Darksign Gwyn cursed humanity with was what turned them into undead. Am I wrong?
You gotta remember Death Battle doesn't play the games or watch the shows they research. So they're wrong on a lot of things.
I thought the game had it so hollows are the original and the fire makes them human
Undead are people who came back to "life" after they died (and the Darksign appears on their body when they do). They're descendants of the Furtive Pygmy who claimed the Dark Soul. They can't really die (and that's why they're locked up) but they will eventually go Hollow.
Of course Death Battle is wrong on Dark Souls lore, they're wrong on pretty much everything...they don't do proper research, why would Dark Souls lore be an exception?
They ARE walking corpses, but that's the natural state of Humanity in the soulsverse.
I'm confused, this is literally exactly what they said in the episode and the analysis blog.
https://ulltraguy.blogspot.com/2023/06/character-analysis-chosen-undead-feat.html
Why do you homies even pay for this lame shit
Its a downgrade from their first episodes. Why does rooster teeth turn everything to shit?
>why do you pay
I don’t, I watch it on YouTube for free
Well it's super cheap, and I hope that my few dollary-doo's actually can go towards them improving their show. So far...eh.
>I hope that my few dollary-doo's actually can go towards them improving their show.
How much money do you spend on Onlyfans. Be honest.
None. I have SOME integrity, I'll just go to kemono for that stuff.
I don't pay. I don't even watch the youtube videos. I'm exclusively streamable or megas lmao
>Goku and Sasuke
The champions of CHAMPIONS
My heroes.
I'm still boiling with rage that the next fight isn't Dexter vs Jimmy. Death Battle never fails to surprising us with their incompetence.
ugh didn't meant to upload this piggy, it was for another thread but sure, you can stay in my post piggy.
That’s a smug piggie
PorkCHADS, what's our best matchup?
The one man walking apocalypse, of course.
Jokes aside, though, Bebop and Rocksteady vs Roadhog and Junkrat would be a decently fun, fitting match-up, even if it is >Overwatch
Overwatch would have been fifty times better if they gave the Junkers just a bit more spotlight
Every DB these days is a huge discredit to their intelligence.
Not only aren't CU and DB not well-defined characters (and therefore shouldn't be used at all) but the idea that these characters can survive the Big Bang when they can't even survive a 100 feet fall is the epitome of brain-rot.
Everyone's been saying that CU vs DB made Swan seethe and he made the Dragonborn look like the villain as revenge. Is there any proof to this or is everyone just talking out their ass?
>Swan said CU vs DB is his next white whale after Dio vs Alucard
>Swan has a history of wanking the frick out of his favorites
>Swan had full control of this episode
>Swan voiced CU
>Swan still couldn't bullshit a win for CU because of Kirkbride Elder Scrolls lore wank
>Wrote the fight animation in a way to portray the DB as the bad guy
If that's not seethe then I don't know what is.
>A fairly strong guy with respawns.
>A guy that due to Morrowind having been written under LSD has access to the cheat console.
What did he expect would happen there?
Those respawns take time by the fricking way. Oscar didn't respawn right away in the asylum, only when you came back. And he gets killed permanently in his hollow form.
He underestimated the concentrated autism that is Elder Scrolls lore and thought he could just bs his favorite to win like every other time. The difference with those though was that those characters were against opponents they had some chance against and stuff he could easily pull nonsense wank with to put em over in comparison. This time he got smacked down by something with actually ingrained lore wank so mighty that it makes his attempts at fanfiction wank look pitiable in comparison. Long story short, Kirkbride raped him without even noticing.
It's just the doomposters
>Misaka is the least stompy Killua matchup.
Is HxH the weakest shonen?
Maybe Ben found a feat that he can wank for HxH.
I’m genuinely rooting for him even though he 99% won’t win
I'm genuinely not interested at all. We've been robbed out of Jimmy vs Dexter.
>Robbed
Why did you homosexuals delude yourselves into thinking that it was going to be Dex vs Jim in the first place.
Relating Misaka vs Killua to a beaker inside a spiky circle because the former comes from a series that uses the word "scientific" in the title means none of those symbols in the teaser are going to mean a damn thing.
On the weaker end of super powered battle shonen yeah. Beats out FMA generally at least, things like full powered Father and Mustang (very hax ability) notwithstanding.
I really hope he pulls a win
>He thinks Ben would let a prime Ryona candidate win
He will force Swan and Co to scale Killua to Meruem and Adult Gon at gunpoint
Honestly I don’t mind
HxH setting is different with how its power works sort of like Jojo. Nen can do all sorts of wacky ass shit but generally isnt going around smashing mountains or over the top showings of power. Its more specialized. Shit in the dark continent is fricking scary and you got pseudo reality warping fauna running around.
That said, Killua is not that level and isnt remotely close to top or even high tier in the setting. Maybe they might bs scale him to Feitan and him creating a miniature sun or something which would be dumb as shit but hey
Yeah, the problem is that Nen is a system that the author generally tries to keep to the rules of. It’s not like Dragon Ball where Ki can do anything or in a comic where they just pull new powers out the ass. Nen has defined rules, limitations, etc.
No one in JoJo is smashing mountains that's just DB's fanfiction.
Didnt mean to imply they did. Just that they arent big fancy smash showings but specialized powers. Granted Jojo shit tends to get more wanked than Hunter Hunter even though the shit in HxH is generally more terrifying
>The only chance of Killua winning is Dark Continent arc shit
>Still no new chapter
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Honestly it’s not. From what I can tell he’s only outclassed in raw AP. He either matches or surpasses Misaka in other areas
Her hax is probably what makes her take the fight would be funny though if they said Killua is highly resistant to lightning
I have no idea what her powers are
Almost every battle shounen, no matter how modest, ultimately uses rules as a narrative tool that is to be deliberately broken to make characters look stronger and have them exceed expectations. HxH is one of the only ones where the characters are truly held to the standards of their setting and it's rules. But that's a bad thing for battleboarding.
Yeah. Even Gon’s temporary powerup is still within the rules because it’s him placing a really severe limitation on himself in exchange for more power
I’m pretty sure Demon Slayer is the currently the weakest shounen. Those guys are barely above street level
DB is gonna be mindbroken by Nen and how it actually has fricking rules
According to VSBW Mikasa should win.
Killua: 9B - Low 7C
Mikasa: At least 8B - Much higher than 7A
Attack potency is pretty much his sole outclass
>they're actually calling it Skyrim vs Dark Souls
Can't wait for the chat to react to Killua vs Misaka
Because "Dragonborn" and "Chosen Undead" are just placeholder names, not official names of the protagonist. No one searches for these things.
Yeah but by normal naming conventions you would title it something like Last Dragonborn vs Chosen Undead (Elder Scrolls vs Dark Souls)
Seems like a odd thing to sperg out about.
I mean honestly it doesn't really matter, it was just strange is all
Death Battle is shit. It's always been shit. And it'll always be shit.
You can go to any random powerscaling community and ask any member of that community who'd win in a fight and you're more likely to get a better and more researched answer.
Why? Because in powerscaling communities opinions are challenged, and the debaters have to adapt. In Death Battle, there's no debate. It's just one man's fan-fiction, and it doesn't matter if it's wrong.
So why give a shit about how they organize their shit content?
They weren't this shit back when people were begging them to be this shit. I still remember how much not impressed wankers were by their street level calcs. Battleboarders are the reason DB turned into this.
Season 5 was the most balanced generally speaking. After that it spiraled out of control to moron wank
>"season 5 is the most balanced
>building level Kenshiro
>because of this downplay people think Jotaro had a chance
nah frick that season just for that
"building level Kenshiro" is the right way to scale him
My impression with forums is that people are a lot more conservative in their takes, and rarely promote interpretations not compatible with the source material.
The moment someone engages in fallacies or out of context feats to promote their favorite works they get dismissed as idiots and liars by the communities at large.
Even VBW allows their content to be challenged, and the moderators and administrators are prone to agree more grounded takes.
Eh it makes more sense than when they named one Pokemon vs Digimon
Kaguya literally put 6 suns in 6 different dimensions she made, yet, neither Naruto or Madara scaled to that. Meanwhile that Twink from Dark Souls did the same feat and somehow we get the Chosen Undead to be universe level
So this guy has:
>Infinite speed based off chakra that travels across dimensions and has been reacted to
>Star to actual universe level based of Kaguya's creation of all things power, who has put a cosmos in every dimension she created, and also the real world has been called a dimension, meaning they don't make any difference between planes of existence
>Izanagi, the power to alter reality
I would say yes, he should win against Vader, low diff.
speed based off chakra that travels across dimensions and has been reacted to
You might as well put on a trip when you bring that shit up, we know only one guy follows this train of logic.
Oh infinite arrows can count? But reacting to chakra that travels across dimensions doesn't??
Which by the fricking way, was already explained to us how it works in Boruto. Ada who isn't even an Ootustsuki used this chakra path to alter everyone's memories including a guy who's in a different dimension.
But sure, arrows count, this doesn't. Frick off
>Inbf4 you're the One Piece dude
Make One Piece infinite as well I don't even mind that, fair is fair. Max wank to everything.
Das right. Scrollsverse is powerful and Naruto is WEAK
Anon, Juubito doesn't even have the full power Juubi like Madara did, and he was at best half as strong as Kaguya
He was able to do this to Madada while half dead, and this Madara traded hands with the same Naruto that punched the shit out of Kaguya.
That's one eye Madara right after becoming the juubi jinchuuriki. He later absorbed the God tree that let him fight both 6 Paths Naruto and Sasuke, then his second eye where he put them on the back pedal (even Obito himself he had no idea how powerful Madara would become when he got both eyes back since theyre far more powerful as a pair than individually), and finally got the Rinnesharigan and came down to slap Naruto and Sasuke but got blindsided by Black Zetsu
This one eyed Madara threw hands with the same Naruto that fought Kaguya.
They really don't make a distinction on his power other than the fact that he can create 4 Limbo clones and activate the infinite dream.
And right after this he bails to avoid getting sealed and goes straight for his other Rinnegan (and Sasuke still just cuts him in half)
Doesn't matter, he was still tying with Naruto there. Upon getting the second Rinnegan he got stronger for sure but you can still scale one eyed Rinnegan Madara to So6P Naruto.
>he ties with Naruto even though he fleets to get his eye
>he's about to be sealed and needs to sub out to escape, his Limbo clone now also being sealed
And what of Boil release, anon? The thing that let Naruto temporarily overpower Kaguya but didn't use on Madara? The Madara who had 3 eyes at the time, yet both Naruto and Sasuke said Kaguya was far stronger than
They would still all scale to Kaguya nonetheless. We've seen Sakura punch her too. And then the scaling gets more complicated when we have kage tier characters thrashing on Momoshike.
Anon I don't know why you're trying to make obtuse upscaling of Juubito to full power Kaguya when you could easily just say DMS Obito should scale to DMS Kakashi and the Susanoo since it's literally Obito possessing Kakashi's body, and that shit actually was fricking up full power Kaguya
>Upscaling
I don't have to do much, Momoshiki was getting his ass beat here.
Its funny how Momoshiki has also created a dimension, including putting a star in the sky but that somehow doesn't count uh? :3
Swank just doesn't seem to like Naruto. You would think he does considering he's gay and all...
You realize that Swan isn't the only researcher. Why does that bastard always inflict such a massive Buzz Aldrin affect on this place.
Also Obito explicitly says both having Rinnegan are an amp
>infinite speed and universal AP Naruto
This has got to be a joke. There is no way that someone is this moronic
Infinite speed's moronic, but the universal thing has been a subject of debate with Kaguya
Swank has 0 qualms about giving Souls and Hollow Knight universe level over vage bullshit, but somehow doesn't buy Bleach or Naruto universe level despite examples like this one existing. lmao
That fricking guy deserves to be beaten on the streets.
>overcomes Swank 21 years in advance
How the FRICK did he do it bros?
By being a moron who thinks depth automatically equals quality
you only say this because the company and engine that produces the game sucks. If he wrote for a company with flashier graphics you'd cream yourself.
Your mind is too chaste to understand
We need Castlevania Dracula to fight DIO now. If we give Dracula everything, he can use the stopwatch in Judgement to counter DIO's timestops.
I want to see him use that crazy form from Portrait of Ruin where he Soul Steals Death and becomes some sorta super Dracula.
So we would really get a multiversal Kratos in death battle, huh?...Cool.
Kratos will avenge Bayonetta?
Nope. 9 dimensional Dante
>Kratos
Unknown number of dimensions, but his lore keeps increasing with each added pantheon. Two so far.
>Dante
9 dimensions and 1 demon pantheon limited to Underworld. Possibly the smallest multiverse and lore out of the three.
>Bayo
Has the biggest lore and multiverse out of the three, because of all the pantheons that exist, besides Inferno (9 circles). Unknown total number of dimensions and human universes.
>YT Chat knows both Killua and Misaka
>Fricking Reddit implodes at the next fight saying literally who? to both combatants
Alright Chosen Undead vs Dragonborn
I like the fight and everything but I feel like there would be a better way to explain why the Dragonborn would win. Still fun one.
the post fight analysis felt a little rushed didn't it?
Yeah, it was kind of weird. Seems just saying:
>CU would just go hollow
Seems like a cop-out. I'm 99% sure the dragonborn would of add a better way to counter the undeath curse for good. At least they got the thing about the dragonborns overwhelming power right...somewhat.
>Give LDB his alchemy/enchanting broken loop before the fight
>Let him have his broken gear
>This also allows him to have broken potions and critically poisons
>Even if you claim that he's not skilled enough of a swordsman to incapacitate CU like Brys did to Rhulad, he can apply a paralysis poison that will effectively leave the CU rotting on the floor for the rest of eternity
It's not as if the paralysis poison isn't one of the most common and easy to make in base Skyrim either; it's how you make a tonne of money when grinding alchemy.
they got it right in that he was more powerful than the chosen undead. the actual level they gave him is... not accurate lol. i think the way they hand waved the dawnbreaker's effects was pretty negligent. it targets "corruption and false life" which means it would nuke the chosen undead
To be fair, what they said about the undead in Dark soul being different than the ones in Elder scroll is true. I think. I guess you could go into a thing about
>How powerful is Miridia compared to Gwyn or the undead curse?
And maybe have a win con with that?
i know they're a little bit different, but the thing works on draugr reanimated skeletons thralls and vampires (i think ghosts too). it's not much of a stretch to say the chosen undead falls within the concept of what meridia would consider undead.
>And maybe have a win con with that?
i guess so. meridia is a daedric prince, formerly a magna ge. iirc she was one of the gods who turned dagon into mehrunes dagon. in other words it falls within her description to be infinite, so that's a good winning condition. but scaling artifacts to the princes is a bit iffy because they're normally tied to conceptual gimmicks. you use the skeleton key to unlock anything but it doesn't make you on par with nocturnal for example
I mean it's a pretty straight forward outcome when DB is given infinite+1 strength and speed, why even bother with magic anymore when he could go full unga bunga until CU loses his will to keep going
The fight was good but reasoning was bullshit as always
>Scale to destroy multiple infinite universes
he died to fricking crabs
I'm a fan but not an expert on Elder scrolls lore. Heck maybe Dragonborn is multiversal. But they could of explained it without going into the universe-busting thing. For the average normie, they will come out of it confused since like you said DB in the game can be hurt by crabs. I feel like they were better at explaining these things in previous seasons.
also
>character can revive thousands of times
>He'll just lose a thousand times in a row :^)
Every fricking time
Can't beat the crabs man.
>anons STILL can not fathom that characters on DB are composite of their best power scaling implications, NOT how they are most of the time
>you even think gameplay had any impact on this fight at all, instead of the descriptions of abilities and lore entries
you homies are legit moronic and make this mistake with every single deathbattle because you can not separate thematics from realistic implication
CU gets their bullshit powerscaling because they are powering the SUN AND STARS, LOOK AT THIS DECAYING SUN IN 3
DB gets his bullshit powerscaling from the metaphysics of Elder Scrolls
>this user fell for gwyn and Fraampt's lies
10 int etc
I'll break it down
calling them "undead" is literal propaganda to convince them that they are unholy/unnatural
their "undead" state is actually their natural state
they aren't zombies (even if they look that way), and their (real) life isn't "false" since its their natural state to be that way
hell the chosen undead legend is even a lie
even without the seal of fire from Gwyn, they would still revive again and again
although who knows what that would actually be like
dark souls lore is filled with contradictions and purposefully vague metaphysics because Miyazaki wanted to recreate the sensation of a beginning ESL reading an english fantasy book
>anons STILL can not fathom that characters on DB are composite of their best power scaling implications
But that's wrong. What DB uses is pure head-canon. There's no adherence to the source material whatsoever. There's no reference to anything universe-busting in Dark Souls...there isn't even a reference to the word "universe."
You even got the lore wrong.
>you even think gameplay had any impact on this fight at all, instead of the descriptions of abilities and lore entries
No, we know the fight was shit. No one here thinks otherwise.
>dark souls lore is filled with contradictions
No it's not. The item descriptions (while a narrative device) aren't omniscient narration. And this is very clear, with for instance the key to the Tower where Havel is locked in.
>no adherence to the source material
did you miss the part where I said that the CU burning himself at the kiln would (theoretically if he did so) power the SUN and (all the) STARS? this would also stop existence from collapsing in itself ala the entire geography of dark souls 3
theres nothing that says "CU could destroy a universe" but its pretty clear that "CU could, for an undetermined amount of time, sustain the universe from collapsing while powering the sun and stars"
as far as
>Havel
>aren't omniscient narration
I don't actually know what you mean, you're saying that the lore isn't filled with contradictions but stating that the items AREN'T omniscient?
This is thus separate since your statement doesn't seem to support itself, although tbf the onus is on me to first show contradictions initially
I hate to tell you this (assuming you think its Havel), but its questionable that the thing you kill in there is actually Havel
high chance it was a soldier who was wearing armor akin to Havel
>Apparel worn by Havel the Rock's warriors. Havel's Warriors never flinched nor retreated from battle.
but, perhaps contradiction is a strong word. However there are several things that seem to contradict, or don't seem to make sense, or that we simply don't know. Like what the actual implications of time being distorted is, or whether Manus is even the furtive pygmy.
>did you miss the part where I said that the CU burning himself at the kiln would (theoretically if he did so) power the SUN and (all the) STARS? this would also stop existence from collapsing in itself ala the entire geography of dark souls 3
>theres nothing that says "CU could destroy a universe" but its pretty clear that "CU could, for an undetermined amount of time, sustain the universe from collapsing while powering the sun and stars"
Yes I missed this part because it doesn't exist in the game.
>I don't actually know what you mean,
...
>you're saying that the lore isn't filled with contradictions but stating that the items AREN'T omniscient? This is thus separate since your statement doesn't seem to support itself, although tbf the onus is on me to first show contradictions initially
You're conflating contradictions (i.e. impossibilities) for contradicting fallible statements, they're not the same thing.
>I hate to tell you this (assuming you think its Havel), but its questionable that the thing you kill in there is actually Havel high chance it was a soldier who was wearing armor akin to Havel
No, I've seen the lore videos, I know it could be a follower just wearing his armor. But that doesn't change the fact that the description of the key is personal, not objective.
>but, perhaps contradiction is a strong word.
It's not only strong, it's wrong.
>However there are several things that seem to contradict, or don't seem to make sense, or that we simply don't know. Like what the actual implications of time being distorted is, or whether Manus is even the furtive pygmy.
1. Time being distorted is just an excuse for why heroes (from different ages) interact through co-op as the cycle goes on.
2. Manus being the Furtive Pygmy is speculation (and pointless speculation at that) not a contradiction.
>Yes I missed this part because it doesn't exist in the game.
don't know what to tell you at this point, agree to disagree
>rest of it
thats fair, but it does speak to how hard it is for anything to be concrete in the lore community
We agree that if Killua wins it's because Ben wanted his dose of ryona right?
>analysis paints both characters as universe-busters
>fight animation is just two street-level guys clashing swords and throwing fireballs
I think this might be the farthest that an animation has ever strayed from the actual analysis.
Yeah it's pretty insane.
To any HxHgay and Toarugay what are Killua and Misaka's wincons?
>Misaka
Superior offensive power by a fricking shit ton and his lightning nen being a giveaway to her
>Killua
Smarter, better physical strength (kind of irrelevant), assassination hax
Who do you think is more likely to land the killing blow?
My knowledge on Misaka is limited but she has better means of playing keepaway and can presumably fly around. Killua's best shot might ironically be turning the lightning nen off, hiding his presence, and getting the jump on her to swiftly yank out her heart
In current powergay land? Misaka because BIIIG NUMBER and bigger collateral damage moments to get x amounts of tnt from. If in a more reasonable debate that actually considers other factors it becomes a bit more debatable
Ben will rig the fight TRUST THE PLAN KILLUABROS
>Falls 100 feet - dies
>Falls into water - dies
>Steps knee-deep into a swap - gets poisoned and dies
>Steps on lava - dies
>Gets hit by a boulder running down a flight of stairs - dies
>Gets run over by a skeleton trapped in a cart wheel - dies
Bros, which of these are considered universe-level again?
Multiverse level cartwheel skeletons and I mean it. Going to that pit you just know posted was worse than being invaded by Jiren himself.
Universal gravity
Universal water
Universal poison
Universal lava
Universal boulder
Universal skeleton, w/ multiversal wheel
>Falls 100 feet - dies

The ones that aren't game mechanics, moron
>Developers carefully design a hazardous environment to pose trouble for players.
>Muh game mechanics.
These are not game mechanics. Game mechanics are abstractions (like HP, damage numbers, etc.) that don't mean anything. A lethal fall isn't related to game mechanics, it's an actual circumstance of death for the player character.
You can't ignore the game if you intend to powerscale it.
It can be an abstraction. If the player character can damage a dragon or giant beast, and withstand hits from them, they're probably going to be able to withstand a ground collision from a height. Lethal fall is just forced on the player character as an arbitrary restriction.
No it can't. Because it's something that the developers will take into consideration. And how hard a dragon will strike you is not really certain either, especially when you consider HP which is a game mechanic.
There are plenty of games were fall-damage isn't a thing. So if it is implemented then the player character isn't able to survive fall from a certain height.
Take a game where we know the characters to be powerful, like Asura's Wrath. Did Asura succumb to lava? No. The penultimate boss fight took place in the core of the planet. Did he take damage from falls? No....he fell from orbit, and he was struck from the Moon to Earth.
It's very clear that Asura is more powerful than the Chosen Undead. And no one who's played both games could be convinced otherwise because the games are on completely different scales.
Any outerversal character would've easily died to those
It's the same as multiversal-level ice for Kratos.
Just put a universal or multiversal prefix before it and you're set.
Swan is too complex for our inferior minds.
Who’s the one researcher that once in a blue moon brings up long-forgotten weebshit like Akame Ga Kill and Raildex? If those series are on the table, then Homura vs Kurumi absolutely has a more-than-zero chance of becoming an actual episode.
Frick, I hope not. That shit's even worse than Killua vs Misaka in terms of theme, and far worse in terms of debate. One is a universe buster, the other maybe a city buster.
Isn’t Goddess Homura a thing? VS wiki puts endgame Homura at universal
Yeah, Homura is universal and Kurumi is city level. Shit's a total mismatch. Plus, apparently the main advocate for it is a pedophilia that just wants to fap to Homura murdering Kurumi.
So Ben?
Ben might be pleased. They do seem a bit young for his tastes, though. He seems to prefer adult women.
I've only watched the cartoon but doesn't nen has its own reiatsu crush?
hey capeshit tripgay, the entire discord is laughing at you right now
All this talk of universal skeletons... Who is the strongest skeleton? No flesh allowed. Has to be their main form, not a temporary state.
Caliborn / Lord English
Visible flesh, instant disqualification.

Grim
3D animation was kinda choppy, but I liked the episode. It was a good matchup and they did bring up tons of crucial powers from the game. The winner also made sense when you consider how the game treats their player character.
Too bad next episode is more weeb shit.
Dark Souls is a Japanese franchise.
if you can't tell the difference between videogames and shonen anime then I don't know what to tell you
Maybe Killua will actually win via his assassination skills, and that's why death battle is doing this matchup even though it looks like a stomp.
>But chosen undead vs dragonborn
Personally requested match and the scrolls lore was too much.
I dunno man, apparently Misaka has some radar shit.
https://toarumajutsunoindex.fandom.com/wiki/Misaka_Mikoto/Abilities#Sensory_and_Biological_Applications
>Mikoto is constantly emitting electromagnetic waves and can sense those released waves.[81][39] By emitting faint microwaves in all directions and reading the returning reflected waves, with the same principles as radar,[81][39][106] Mikoto can sense her immediate surroundings as well as objects and individuals within them.[23] In a closed room, this radar enables her to see a three-dimensional image of the room even without the use of her regular sight.[93][85] It also allows her to sense attacks coming from her blind spots,[81][39] as well as enabling her to block, deflect, intercept or evade attacks and hazards without looking in their direction.[46][47][84][85][167][48][168] While the anti-personnel microwave radar generally leaves Mikoto with no blind spots,[40][106] it does have several weaknesses - materials that absorb or dampen EM waves can be used to avoid detection,[40] and, as demonstrated by Misaka 10032, if the waves' frequency is known then they can be negated by sending out reverse phase waves.[106]
How do you assassinate someone that's constantly emitting and reading radar waves and is a master of detecting electric shit, especially when electricity is your power? And she can make a frickoff huge golem out of iron sand?
This is a shitstomp, man.
Wait, wrong video.
This one has English subtitles.

John Constantine VS Raidou Kuzunoha: Liam immediately says he wants to do it as an episode. He thinks Constantine is a cool character, and that an SMT character would be the best choice for a close fight. John suggests Constantine VS Merlin from Fate. Sam says the matchup makes sense. Discussion devolves into being about Japanese media using Nazi aesthetics. Ultimately, they all like/want the matchup.
Conker VS Postal Dude: Sam thinks it's "a shit idea". He thinks that both Conker's Bad Fur Day and Postal are bad games that get by solely on crude humor instead of actual quality, and thinks this matchup would be more or less the same. Liam suggests Conker VS Duke Nukem. Sam thinks that's slightly better, but then DJ brings up Duke Nukem VS Serious Sam, which Sam and Liam both agree is much better.
Max Steel VS Generator Rex: They already talked about it, though Sam is the only one who remembers it. Liam jokingly says they should do it so they can have two characters with the surname MacGrath.
Lego Battle Royale (Lloyd from Ninjago VS Clay from Nexo Knights VS Laval from Chima): They don't know Clay or Laval, so they don't really have an opinion on the match. The same comment also mentions Tai Lung VS Morro, but all that leads to is DJ mentioning that you're not supposed to submit multiple matchups at once.
Lissandra from LoL VS Azshara from WoW: Once again, none of them know much about the characters (Sam has knowledge of WoW, but not the era that Azshara comes from). Based on what they can figure out from the comment, Liam says Lissandra just freezes Azshara, though Sam says that, if she's a 25-man raid boss, Azshara should have good scaling, and John says that he's heard Azshara scales to the Lich King. They're not sure how to scale most LoL characters.
>Duke Nukem vs Serious Sam getting support
Finally, it's great to see this one getting the recognition it deserves.
It's probably one of the long overdue old matches they need to do. Like how Boba Fett vs Predator and Jason vs Micheal were. Or like Kirk vs Han, Ghost Rider vs Spawn, and Dumbledore vs Gandalf. Come to think of it, is it the biggest remaining overdue Cinemaphile match?
That is the only one that comes to mind as a "legacy" matchup, yeah. Anything other popular Cinemaphile matchups I can think of are all relatively new ideas like Junko vs William.
>crude humor bad
What a couple of pissants. They do stupid crude humor on death battle all the time. Some people got too much ego thinking they're above a little toilet humor...
Infinity Ultron VS Fleetway Robotnik: Liam says he would want Robotnik to win. Sam says it would come down to just Metal Sonic, but the others clarify that Fleetway Sonic is very different. DJ mentions Infinity Ultron is very powerful, and they all agree Ultron almost certainly wins (to Liam's disappointment). Some barely related discussion about TV shows ensues.
Thrall from Warcraft VS Grimgor from Warhammer: Sam thinks it's cool. He notes how strong Thrall is, but says 40k is a stronger universe overall. Liam points out that Grimgor is from Fantasy, not 40k, but says that probably doesn't matter. Liam really wants to do a Warhammer episode, but knows that Games Workshop wouldn't allow it. Sam thinks Thrall is a good pick for a humanoid WoW character.
Giovanni Potage VS Papyrus: They get distracted by the thumbnail using gritty fanart of both. Sam likes the vibe of bumbling idiots who talk more than they fight.
Leone VS Makoto: They all agree Leone would be fricked. Only further note is that DJ liked Akame ga Kill when he was 13, and doesn't anymore.
Kratos VS Asura: They skip past it because they've talked about it a lot.
Xeno Gogeta VS Omnimon: Liam says it's a classic (presumably referring to Gogeta VS Omnimon as a whole). Sam thinks Omnimon looks like Alphonse. Liam and DJ both think it's sick, and they talk about how insane upper-tier Digimon like Omnimon are. Liam prefers Gogeta over Vegito.
Bowser VS Lord Hater: None of them know anything about Wander Over Yonder. Liam gets the vibe, and they all love Bowser.
Shard the Metal Sonic VS Jenny Wakeman: Liam is the only one familiar with Shard. No actual opinions on the matchup, just advice about how to make thumbnails.
>Liam really wants to do a Warhammer episode, but knows that Games Workshop wouldn't allow it
?
Why would that matter?
Because GW are a bunch of morons that attack and sue any fanmade content that isn't on their subscription service site?
they're big asses and will copyright strike anything
If Death Battle were violating some copyright, they likely would have been shut down by now by Nintendo.
Warhammer issue copyright strikes a lot
GW once sued a children's book author over the use of the term "space marine". They've recently tried to press-gang the entirely of their fan animation ecosystem onto their paid subscription service, in the process killing some of their longest running fan animation series. If Death Battle uses any of their shit, they are likely painting a target on their own backs.
How many of these lawsuits have they won?
>How many of these lawsuits have they won?
All they haven't settled. They're making money off lawsuits.
>How many of these lawsuits have they won?
This is tge anglosphere. You dont need to win lawsuits but to sue as many times as necessary instead.
Learn the Meta, fool
GW is filled with morons killing off fan works that get people interested in their property (see Emperor TTS and Astartes)
Capsule Corps Goku VS Golden Age Superman: Sam awkwardly scrolls past it.
The Wonder Pets VS Team Umizoomi: Liam says he's wanted to do this for several years (thought that was probably sarcastic). DJ wants to bring in characters from preschool shows, but also thinks that it would be really weird. Sam also likes the concept of doing preschool show matchups, (he says he saw Teletubbies Sun VS Super Mario Bros. 3 Sun a while back), and thinks that they'll eventually do at least one, if only because Chad has kids and has to watch those shows all the time, but thinks Wonder Pets VS Umizoomi is too niche. DJ points out that they were both extremely popular in the era they came out in.
Seryu Ubiquitous VS Rob Lucci: Liam thinks Lucci is cool. DJ agrees, but dislikes Seryu. Liam brings up Lucci VS Grimmjow. Sam comments that there's a lot of fun stuff you could do with the "corrupt governments clash" concept.
William Adams from Nioh VS Wolf from Sekiro: Sam has played the first Nioh, but not the second. He doesn't think William would win. John comments that William gets pretty ridiculous, but Sam argues that Wolf has a better arsenal and "deflects everything always", but also admits he may just be saying that because he likes Sekiro more than Nioh. Liam brings up Wolf VS Scorpion, which Sam thinks is fun.
2B VS Sky Striker Ace: Sam thinks a NieR: Automata VS Yu-Gi-Oh matchup sounds buck wild and cool. Everyone else seems to agree.
>Doesnt think William would win
Kek the dude beat down the fricking Yamata No Orochi and has more magic hax
That and you know he can just wear plate armor and cuck Wolf that way
>William Adams from Nioh VS Wolf from Sekiro
We scaling William to Hide?
>2B VS Sky Striker Ace
What the frick? Are they actually considering doing a matchup for YGO card lore?
It was one of the suggestions they apparently liked.
Sky Strikers have a manga that shows stuff for them, iirc
Isn't that manga rather cut and dry iirc?
But It has Waifus!!
>DJ wants to bring in characters from preschool shows
Just use Happy Tree Friends
>Next fight is Misaka Mikoto from Toaru vs Killua Zoldyck from Hunter × Hunter, coming June 19.

Doom Slayer
they talk about Constantine VS Raidou in
no way it's happening this season
Honestly, with the recent addiction to lore scaling and how much wank Doomguys got, plus it being Hell focused, I think it’s honestly gonna be these two.
I liked the idea that episode 3 was bowser vs eggman but now it's between these two characters I don't know. How exactly do they fit the cipher symbol?
Misaka is the Scientific Railgun, thus the flask, and sometimes Nen is a star shaped explosion. We could also be going backwards still, and AtomvAntman was the flask, for scientists, and they are the atom symbol, for energy. I suppose we'll know on the next one, if it's a demon or witch based fight we're going counterclockwise, if it's a water based fight, we're going clockwise, unless they do some crazy shit like Gojo from Saiyuki vs. Bai Tza from Jackie Chan Adventures, so it's a pair of water demons fighting, though there's no draw to that fight. HxH should at least pull some numbers in.
Not sure about the CU because I'm not a soulsgay, but they really didn't explain WHY the Dragonborn is incredibly broken. Didn't even bother bringing up that he has Akatosh's soul in his body, making him half-god. Nor the fact that Dragonshouts aren't just a form of magic, but literal reality warping that brings their effects into the world because all Dragons are aspects of Akatosh. It's especially telling that they'll bring up the metaphysical conflict of Dark Souls to justify some of the CU's powers, but completely ignore player character lore aspects in TES like The Prisoner and Shezzarines. They also brush over the Magic in TES, especially Alteration, Illusion, and non-healing applications of Restoration.
Hilarious that the Swank character got BTFO by Kirkbride's LSD induced writings from over a decade ago even without them fully going into how broken the Dragonborn is though.
They even made up headcanon about the CU “not really being undead” to pretend the DB couldn’t easily kill him and just settled for the cop out of the DB being too powerful for the CU to overcome and hollowing eventually.
the dragonborn does not have akatosh's soul
Black person, Dragons are aspects of Akatosh. Their souls are fragments of Akatosh's soul, they're more like divine fey than actual Dragons. The Deathbattle obfuscates this by the line about Alduin being the Firstborn of Akatosh when he's really the aspect of Akatosh from the Nordic Pantheon given form.
The Last Dragonborn is a mortal with a Dragon's soul, a divine soul. The entire plot of Skyrim is Akatosh going schizo and sending a mortal aspect of himself to fight the Nordic aspect of himself so Alduin stops LARPing as Dragon Hitler and actually does his job in eating the World to begin the next Kalpa.
>The entire plot of Skyrim is Akatosh going schizo and sending a mortal aspect of himself to fight the Nordic aspect of himself so Alduin stops LARPing as Dragon Hitler and actually does his job in eating the World to begin the next Kalpa.
It's schizoid god fights all the way down
lmao. you're doing this all wrong. you're not describing what's going on in the games you're reaching hyperbolic conclusions based on your own ignorance. alessia didn't have akatosh's infinite soul. miraak didn't and he was no less dragonborn than the last dragonborn. at most you can say he's shor's ghost but even that's a reach
>shor's ghost
>shor
Ironic, complaining about ignorance while conflating Lorkhan with Akatosh. I never once said he has all of Akatosh's infinite soul. In fact I directly said that Dragon souls, like the one The Last Dragonborn has, are fragments of Akatosh's being. Doesn't make that soul any less divine. To deny that Dragon souls are divine is to deny the fact that Dragons are directly related to Akatosh, which is verifiably false since you meet fricking Alduin.
The Dragonborn, all Dragonborns, are mortals with a divine, Dragon soul.
you yourself mentioned he's a shezzarine so don't cast aspersions on me about irony you ignoramus. the last dragonborn is YSMIR who is fundamentally of SHOR. he happens to the DRAGONBORN which is the akatosh aspect. he is a living duality and very likely completely insane like pelinal albeit more stable. unless you assume he's TALOSINE in which case he is healthy and stable because 'tiber septim' was three people and then one as opposed to the cluster frick going on with pelinal.
>I never once said he has all of Akatosh's infinite soul.
>he has Akatosh's soul in his body
and no your description of the dragons as ADA does not complement this.you know well the meaning of words seeing how you communicate with me RIGHT NOW so you should know your own reductive blunder. in turn i never once denied his soul is divine.
tell me if i say 'i have jesus's soul' and leave it at that do the words imply 'i am a fragment of the wholeness of the divine spark and made in the lord's image' or do they imply i am a deluded shitposter presuming to be jesus?
nuff said, n'wah
The Alduin line is a quote from Alduin, what else were they supposed to do
Even a cursory skim over the related lore reveals that the firstborn of Akatosh line is more of a poetic flourish to describe his nature and not the actual reality of the situation.
Alduin IS Akatosh, just the same as Alkosh and Auri-El. It's just that the classical Nordic pantheon depicts Akatosh as a destroyer god with Lorkhan taking his place as Shor.
let's simply say alduin most likely meant 'tosh raka' which is the nrodic name for the oversoul rather than 'akatosh' who is YOUNGER THAN ALDUIN HIMSELF in the original timeline
you could probably make an argument of the limitations of thu'um due to the metaphysics of the godhead's dream ie only particularly relevant to things contained within that dream
but that just makes everything else hard to explain, like why even give thu'um at that point?
seems DB went with more of a "just give the DB what he actually does/has done rather than assume hes potentially omnipotent beyond his (potential) scope"
also, is the DB immortal? like would he age to death? I know he can be a vampire, and also in contradiction a werewolf. But that was the only real win con for the CU, outlast the DB
they literally mentioned this in video, Fraampt
the real copout was having the CU try to kamikazi the DB because they didn't want to show the millions of fights that would have otherwise taken place
bro why are you talking about thu um like it's chim?
I'm presuming that thu'um rewrites reality by manipulating the dream rather than being some force beyond the godhead
that could be totally wrong tho, my understanding is limited
thats really a cosmetic comparison, they aren't something that is meant to be alive, now dead and having been brought back, they are by default like that
necromancy, or something similar, is not an adequate description of what they are
if the DB isn't immortal than this battle becomes questionable, considering how old several of the undead are, the CU could have kept trying until the DB just died of old age
although, I'm not sure if there is precedent throughout all of the games of an undead being alive for that long
maybe dark souls 3 with the lords? Idk
I'm not sure what you mean by your post
undead won't hollow so long as they have a purpose, and canonically come back again and again
while the real reasons (most) beings don't come back (Andre in 3 is an NPC that will come back) is probably due to gameplay, lore wise they should all come back so long as they have a sense of purpose
you should presume it rewrites the fabric of mundus meaning the universe. the mundus was made inside the aurbis which is the infinitely dual backdrop implicate order behind and before everything
>"Bro this zombie looking thing isn't actually a zombie!"
Miyazaki weeps.
>They mentioned this in the video
No they didn’t. They invented headcanon like usual. The undead in Daek Souls ARE undead. Why do you think they look like zombies after dying?
>also, is the DB immortal?
no. all dragonborn are explicitly mortal with dragon souls. all immortal dragonborn (i.e. miraak and tiber septim) became immortal through other means.
the nerevarine is more immortal since he has dagoth ur's divine disease that stops aging.
They had to headcanon that the undead you play as is a notch above the rest and just comes back to life over and over without experiencing what the other dudes in that fricking series do. Even though in the games the only reason you don't is because you kill everything else before they can kill you. Which lets you reach the end and link the fire.
But Death Battle is dumb and moronic at the same time.
Also they gave the flame of Dark Souls universe level and that shit steals the CU's soul, and kills him. DB is a multiversal and has a soul steal.
>Lore Wank is in
>Gameplay Mechanics ignored
>He’s already apart of one of the biggest death battles ever
