Dead Space remake did come out but it didn’t exactly make waves and its spiritual successor(?) from its co-creator got panned. Maybe it could draw views but I don’t think it would be worth it at this point given Half-Life is a series only real old heads know anymore and Dead Space is more of a “Oh yeah that was cool” type of series.

Any given space opera has FTL ships, caveat being that in a lot of these settings they can't fight in them. Like FTL in Star Wars works by jumping into hyperspace and fighters don't hit those speeds in a dog fight in normal space. One case in which travel speed vs combat speed is actually valid.

I like when all the non speedster characters in a setting can only be light speed at most since they must "obey physics laws" and speedsters are the only ones who can be FTL but not by much, just fast enough to be able to dodge the attacks from non speedster characters who can move fast.

Superman (and the like) should be able to travel stellar distances because he slowly accelerates up to high speeds, but in combat he shouldn't be able to land a hit at characters like flash, his combat speed should be only "something faster than a bullet", if he defeats a speedster it should be because he used senses to predict the pattern movement or his brain to outsmart them. Also flash combat speed should be far slower than his travel speed (but faster than superman's of course) to make his defeats against non speedster villains not look ridiculous.

Dead Space remake did come out but it didn’t exactly make waves and its spiritual successor(?) from its co-creator got panned. Maybe it could draw views but I don’t think it would be worth it at this point given Half-Life is a series only real old heads know anymore and Dead Space is more of a “Oh yeah that was cool” type of series.

Bionicle has legit light speed characters. Like, not "Oh it's a laser!" light speed, but like EXPLICIT light speed. Examples mostly involving Pohatu though.

Still saying it, Bionicle is the verse I'd say is the biggest example of "Verse that was way stronger than you think."

I like when all the non speedster characters in a setting can only be light speed at most since they must "obey physics laws" and speedsters are the only ones who can be FTL but not by much, just fast enough to be able to dodge the attacks from non speedster characters who can move fast.
Also when nobody can't move at light speed because when you reach it you activate *insert science stuff*
This is how it is for comics for anyone that doesn't have brainworms. The FTL guys are the guys that fly from solar system to solar system, the Superman level guys, and everyone else can maybe on a good day cause a sonic boom.
If they have to get a space ship to fly to Mongo, they aren't light speed. No amount of Swankery will make Quicksilver FTL.

Superman (and the like) should be able to travel stellar distances because he slowly accelerates up to high speeds, but in combat he shouldn't be able to land a hit at characters like flash, his combat speed should be only "something faster than a bullet", if he defeats a speedster it should be because he used senses to predict the pattern movement or his brain to outsmart them. Also flash combat speed should be far slower than his travel speed (but faster than superman's of course) to make his defeats against non speedster villains not look ridiculous.
Ultra necrozma from pokemon is said to be a star eating monster and to travel stellar distances one must be fast as frick.
