Norrin has eaten major shit against telepaths both at and below J'onn's level. And the key thing here is that J'onn doesn't mean to brainfry Norrin to win. Getting him to stumble for a split second is enough for Norrin to lose because he requires focus and intent to use the Power Cosmic.
If J'onn can put mental blocks in reality warpers like Mxy and telepathically hold the unbound Specter in check, he should be able to get Norrin to forget about his transmutation powers and stand still long enough to eat a Superman punch.

Some of these are just mindboggling to me. I think we can all agree that Omnilander was the best performing episode of last season and one of the best in terms of reception, yet the Death-Battle-Discordians hated the match up idea because of "muh connections!"

I want a match up that consists of 2 characters with similar themes or have history together. Too many connections ruins it because it just becomes boring, as if they were fighting a clone.

He's a total noob still figuring out his powers. But story wise, they've already introduced a multiverse in only the 7th ep; acknowledging Flesher, Superfriends, and DCAU Clark as canon. So who knows? Maybe this Clark will eventually have to deal with multiverse level threats that would effect all those others ones and his beloved tomboy Lois. Maybe this Clark will actually bust a solar system or universe at some point. It'd be quite weird to think the most shoujo version Clark could eventually become the most OP animated version of Supes. Under the right conditions sure, but it'd literally die out as soon as it's made on such a small scale. It's found that the smallest natural star found in 2017 is smaller than Saturn, barely qualifies as a star, and is believed to not sustain its fusion for long before it'll turn into a brown dwarf (essentially a failed/dead star)

Depends. The early stars had less impurities and were made of nearly just hydrogen and helium and they were far massive than the stars we have now. But also far more lived.

if the inward pressure is not high enough it won't create fusion, or else if there is fusion without enough inward pressure you've created a thermonuclear bomb
you can create magnetically contained fusion, but that's not a star and doesn't even operate under the same principles as a star since it's drastically hotter and drastically lower pressure
