Origin stories are pretty similar, they have similar motivations for what they do, their arcs are surprisingly similar in they find people that they're willing to say meet their standards, the only thing to get caught on is that their powers aren't exactly the same but fights based on "same power" are pretty boring most of the time. Animation potential is about as good as any, I can't really see how or why you'd think otherwise. Frank Castle is better off fighting Judge Dredd anyways.

This is simple and easy to understand as most writers will write their characters with certain capabilities in mind, as not doing that will prevent the audience from suspending their disbelief because they'll be too busy asking themselves questions like "why are there so many tentacle blade instances in this piece of media?".
