But for one, that still doesn't stop them from doing a DB with just classic aliens. Not only have they given specific limited versions of characters before, but most people only even know the OG series anyways.
And for two, they only even fricking used a couple OG aliens anyways before the rest of the fight was taken up by Alien X, so it already feels incomplete anyways when I don't even think 10% of Ben's alien roster was used.
This is why Ben vs Giorno is such a strong MU. They’re both characters with a ton of really interesting abilities, that all get ignored because of a single OP powerup that they use a small handful of times, thus making them some of the worst characters to discuss in all of VS debating.

That's actually reasonable scaling logic, the issue is they have Silver Chariot too high in the first place. He shouldn't be light speed, he specifically has to force Hanged Man to make a specific move then attack ahead of time to hit him. So he's very fast but he essentially has to cap below light speed or Hanged Man wouldn't be a threat.
While I don't think the Hanged Man thing is 1300x ftl, that's not my point. Giorno has only ever fought King Crimson once, and that was when he actived GER, which promptly reversed time and beat the shit out of Diavolo. Secondly, King Crimson's abilities mean he basically ignores speed by seeing the future and just entirely skipping over a person's attacks (like with Polnareff) or avoiding them altogether (like when Mista was shooting at him). You can even say Silver Chariot's swings are faster than Diavolo because the second time they met, Chariot did actually hit Diavolo following a time-skip
