With current Murata insanity Tats might win but at the time I think their conclusion was pretty off base. The rose was a cool detail, but maybe they should have switched Lucifer with a lethal, but more precise and less destructive weapon to use on her. Think what also worked well in that Death Battle was her voice-acting and characterization. Althought outside of that, it mostly felt like a DMC shill fight. Think even a tutorial level Bayo is more powerful than what we got in Death Battle.

For me the biggest hint about them being noobs when it came to Bayonetta lore, was how they lied about her height. If they wanted for him to forcefully finish her, he should have hugged and kissed her before the explosion. The rose was a cool detail, but maybe they should have switched Lucifer with a lethal, but more precise and less destructive weapon to use on her. Think what also worked well in that Death Battle was her voice-acting and characterization. Althought outside of that, it mostly felt like a DMC shill fight. Think even a tutorial level Bayo is more powerful than what we got in Death Battle.
I expect Viola to be such a newcomer, that she can just use one layer of Witch Time, and can barely keep it up. She cannot even do the superhero landing, so wouldn't be surprised if her Witch Time at the start of the game is subpar compared to other witches in the main cast.

Nobody knows for sure. Kamiya just tweeted "Garbage" when asked about the Death Battle fight. As for the DBX, it's one of the biggest mysteries in the channel. People speculate that the DBX premiere's animator took it personal when his fight was criticized. That he got so butthurt, the DBX was removed for the greater good.
Other say that the fight getting several dislikes for its outcome was enough to warrant it getting unlisted, because as a show premiere, it would look pretty bad for it to be that divisive among fans. It didn't leave a good enough impression to keep it around as the real first DBX ever. Which isn't a far-fetched theory, since that happened to the original Samus vs Boba Fett, the original first Death Battle ever.

Not even Torrian could animate well Jeanne, so chosing her as the participant for the DBX premiere was suicide. Viola is probably the only protag they could ever animate correctly. Harajuku Cereza, China Bayo, and 60s Jeanne seem more challenging to work with.

Its not really in Kira's favor. Adachi fights at range, and his persona has generally better travel distance and stats if it is on par with Yu's. That and he can use lightning on him which he has no defense against.
