Belos loses so hard it's not even funny. He loses to any notable magic user ever. Fricking Skeletor and Mumm-Ra would instantly destroy him.

I don't remember that part of AT, but the dude got out of any defeat until he was hit with pure good goo. The Lich also just can't die, his last appearance had him frick over literal death, and he wasn't even destroyed, just thrown away for a while. Lich wins any death battle on the counts that he cannot die.

Then you must be a speed watcher because it’s literally his first episode. He can’t overpower Belos or beat him mentally, meaning Belos and about 90% of any other cartoon characters beat him. Also the Lich had died before, other versions of him just show up. It’s like saying Jerry from Rick and Morty can’t die just because he’s replaced

This battle only goes one of two ways.
Dexter completely fricking stomps. Or Deedee shows up halfway through and mogs both Jimmy and Dexter.
Because Dexter's accomplishments piss all over Jimmy. Jimmy's "Brain blasts" are Dexter's default.

Dexter has a highly advanced computer AI and capacity for a robot army.
A plethora of wacky situational inventions from weapons to battle suits to a fricking high five death machine.
          Robo-Dexo 2000
          Robo-Dexo 3000
          The fricking Neurotomic Protocore

And if all else fails, Dexter has Monkey. Monkey is technically owned by Dexter, and thus counts as a pet the way Goddard does and can thus be used if Goddard is, as Jimmy considers Goddard a pet as well. Jimmy isn't doing a fricking thing against Monkey.

Jimmy in a few minutes was able to create a mech that could compete with Mr. Crocker with the full armory of fairy world, with just two wands providing enough power to destroy two entire different universes. Jimmy literally made a time machine in the cretaceous period with sticks, stones, and mud, and he’s way faster than Dexter with one shot options (such as the cheese ray).

Jimmy’s just better at improvising, can blitz Dexter, and can one shot him. Dexter can’t do anything. Robo-Dexo 3000? Gets turned into cheese. Monkey? Gets turned into cheese.

                Not necessarily.

Dexter also can grow to the size of a planet like he did in the first movie and can use any powers of the N-Men.

                >grow to the size of a planet
That’s making Dexter an infinitely bigger target. Instantly one shot by Cheese Ray.

Monkey was getting wrecked by a macho man character who defeated major glory and all his crew. He just stopped out of pity. Meanwhile jimmy takes on psychos like calamitus and the junkman as regular villains. Jimmy's N-men form could take out monkey. Or hell, take special girl's powers and match him till you transport him into the ultralord video game.
And you gotta remember, Jimmy can access other dimensions. Just like in that episode where he became a magician to impress his crush. He's a lot more broken than you think.

Cheese gun, time travel, planet level attacks(Shrink Ray/Evil Jimmy scaling). Dexter have loss to similar people before, such as the many forms of Mandark. Also he has the Hypercube and understanding of how fairies work, he can go to the FOP universe and snag some Anti-fairy or Fairies with his standard equipment he has on Goddard. Dexter is way out his element.

        Anonymous

Nope. Dexter does have better mechs and stuff for a fight, but Jimmy is leagues and beyond smarter than him.

Within 30 minutes he made a functional time remote that could pause/rewind/fast forward/alter time. And this was in the fricking Jurassic era with NONE of his lab materials or Goddard for assistance.

Or how about the time he turned amusement park rides into spacecraft easily piloted by kids. Which took a few hours with them helping on construction.

Said spacecraft also managed to reach another universe within a day. Which put them at BILLIONS of times ftl.

Or how about the Jimmy/Timmy power hour (which is canon btw) confirming that Jimmy is the smartest person in the entire Nickelodeon multiverse?

Dexter is a moron compared to the Neutron.

It is more thematically relevant if you know that superman being a meta concept of hope as stated by Manhattan.
Like implied by the blue guy, some form of superman will appear as a symbol of hope, just like Warrior of Light is to the world of FF.

                Yeah that’s sorta irrelevant

this is again, assuming WoL is not already stronger than superman and not fast enough to do any of his magic and magic hax clark to death

Also, he is a master martial artist and swordsman, so he outskills as well in a 1v1

                Building level

also, supes has no way to figure out a way to null the resurrection by either killing Cosmos or all the crystals that keep the warriors of Light alive thru the loops of death and rebirth.

Even WoL doesn't know where his resurrection comes from, so Clark won't be able to i dunno, torture the answer out of him or read his mind to know.

Destroying random infinite multiverses with the hope that one of them will result in the permanent death of a guy that just keeps being reborn is extremely out of character for even a bloodlusted clark.

Li shang. More war and combat experience. Probably has a superior sword style to any of those 3. Beast relays on strength alone and almost got killed by Gaston. Philip killed dragon Maleficent on his own, but has no other known fight experience. Aladdin beat djinn Jafar, but his sword skills are probably self taught from being poor. He may have not faced any monsters, but shang is skilled enough to train and lead other soldiers.

I'd assume Silver is going to meet Trunks as he's traveling through time, in order to stop him from fricking things up more than he already has. He'll probably have him pull over in some random place in history, and then Trunks will attack since he'll assume that Silver is some new android.

Hey to be fair, Trunks needed an entire planet's worth of power just to harm Zamasu. Both him and Silver are more or less lacking in feats, and are rather useless on their own if they don't have scaling.

          Anonymous

And you think Trunks doesn't? Heroes Trunks literally only has SSG scaling and that's about it. Silver at least can be genuinely argued for multiversal due to Solaris and can potentially be given Enerjak/Mogul scaling.

      Anonymous

The general consensus is that it would take them pretty much giving Silver zero scaling at all + fully charged Keysword (and ignoring it only works on demons) + ignoring the fact that Heroes Trunks could get paradoxes out of existence literally by any kind of timeline alteration in order for Trunks to get a win.

It's also unfortunate how she turns into THE worst big cat. Cheetahs are fast and that's literally it. Their bites are shit, they're small for their genus, and they have no stamina.

Oh by far. The fact they keep trying to shoehorn in a "WE WERE FRIENDS DIANA" backstory to make it interesting shows the rivalry has no legs to stand on. Let's be real, the appeal is seeing Wonder Woman wrestle a naked catgirl. The appeal is seeing Wonder Woman wrestle Tigra. That's it. There's some potential in the evil Indiana Jones angle but really, when's the last time Cheetah went artifact hunting? Nowadays its all MUH DIANA and WE WERE BESTIES ONCE. It's so forced and so cringe. Imagine if they tried to make Joker and Batman ex-friends.

              It's necks.

Her being a violent turbo c**t beneath a thin veneer of benevolence and gentleness is so prevalent that she's even characterized that way in Multiversus while Batman and Superman are 10/10 for characterization.

The Rick reveal trailer had her hunting down Reindog for some ungodly reason. Her nemesis is self-control.

Cheetah and Ares share the spotlight most of the time but Ares acts more as an overarching villain akin to Darkseid or Brainiac for Superman while Cheetah is more akin to Lex Luthor as a more recurring villain.
And let me tell you, she sucks at it.
She has no good stories like the Killing Joke or The Night Gwen Stacy Died, she isn't enjoyably and eccentrically evil like Lex Luthor or Doctor Doom, she doesn't have the pure power of spite behind her like Manta or Thawne, and she isn't just plain fun to watch like Sivana.
Her most notable characteristic is that before she became a furgay she just wore a fursuit.

She doesn't have any real charisma or menace because they keep trying to slot her into the "friend turned tragically evil" role and it doesn't work. They keep trying to force hamfisted sympathy stories while writing how she eats people.

She's also empowered and beholded to a literally who OC jungle god, which strikes a sour note in the cast of divines running around in Wonder Woman stories.

An Amazon blessed by Artemis, Aphrodite, et al is arch foes with...a woman cursed by...Urzkataga...

The frick? They couldn't have even given her a real African deity?

Joker and Lex work as arches because they have charisma, menace, and resonance with their foes. Joker is a flamboyant gangster who creates gadgets out of leftover amusement park equipment and he fights against a brooding vigilante with ultra high-tech toys. Superman is the Man of Tomorrow and he fights against a man using the scientific tools of tomorrow. Superman is humble with power while Lex is covetous.

How does Cheetah resonate with Wonder Woman? Answer--she doesn't.

Ideally what they should do is position Wonder Woman as the guardian of sacred places and old artifacts and Cheetah as the despoiler. Don't have her eat people. Have her steal shit and conduct black market trades of mystical artifacts.

The Keysword scales higher, but without its amped state, it's basically useless. And it's less-than-useless against non-demons.

Based on? Heroes Trunks doesn't fight enough characters that you can justify scaling him beyond SSG.

Those stories are complete bullshit wank. The original Hateful Star SCP successfully disintegrated the fricker off of the surface of the Earth. The newer writers do not understand the anomalous trait of SCP is rapid regeneration and adaptability. I think I know which one you're talking about. Basically, it does its best to keep villains from winning/censor stories, but is limited to what, say, the full capabilities of the United States military would be. If it can survive a nuke, they can't kill it.

Not to mention 682 is afraid of 173 and that rabbit SCP in the same termination log. Total lack of consistency. I wish Gears was more active to remove entries instead of the staff. They all just do not understand his monster.

173 is the incarnate avatar of a demon god worse than 682 and in at least one tale, pretty much fricked the earth. And the rabbit can eat literally anything.

                >They all just do not understand his monster.
Gears is literally the one who first said that 682's physical form is just the equivalent of hair or growth and that its true form is not only fundamentally incomprehensible, but it's not remotely affected by anything that happens to 682 itself.

              >The original Hateful Star SCP successfully disintegrated the fricker off of the surface of the Earth.
In a tale where it actually reached Earth, yes. And we have no idea whether or not that actually killed it given even back then, it had survived worse.

              >The newer writers do not understand the anomalous trait of SCP is rapid regeneration and adaptability.
Anon the earliest termination logs were written over a decade ago and included such highlights as "682 laughs off fundamental constants of the universe being destroyed around it" and "grows as large as Saturn and eats the solar system". The older Leviathan stuff has been there for several years, even back when Gears was still more active. It has always been a bullshit quasi-god.

The only thing that's really changed is that it's gotten more power bloat over time. Especially with the Constants and their scaling.

              >Those stories are complete bullshit wank

682 is explicitly only contained by the acid in most of the old experiment logs because it wants to be. It breaks out of containment pretty much whenever it can be assed to.

And if you factor in Project Isorropia, then it's not the acid that contains it; it's the act of the Swann entities continuously writing up new ways of trying to terminate it that maintains its containment.

682 wants to kill everyone, but its also shown that it's stupidly fricking lazy and cares more about the sadistic glee it gets when the Foundation tries to kill it and fails. There are several test logs showing that it could escape at any time and doesn't because it wants to see what wacky bullshit the Foundation will do next to try and kill it. IIRC it even walks back into its cell of its own volition in at least one case. It even shows the ability to draw perfect symbols that are implied to be better variations of the Foundation's own "retcon you into a member of the Foundation" sigils, so if it REALLY wanted to just escape, it could do one of those when nobody was looking and just walk on out when they accidentally peek it.

The only times it consistently breaches without otherwise being freed are when it's incited to by the latest experiment to kill it or when they leave it along for too long and it gets bored so it starts killing people to draw attention to itself.

There's also at least one tale showing that despite the best efforts of many people over time, 682 does escape and does whatever. In another (which might be the same one) set in a world where the Foundation apparently fell, 682 just continues to grow in power unchecked until it reaches a state where it is larger than galaxies and eventually dwarfs the entire universe.

The acid isn't the thing keeping it contained, it's more the fact that 682 is a bizarre combination of laziness and sadism plus the Foundation continuously trying to destroy it which keeps it from actually bothering to actively pursue its goal.

That seems counter to the original intent, which was that of a hard to kill organism. These things you are saying seem like the coping mechanism used when the power wanker responsible for this homosexualry realized it didn’t track anymore. So for the sake of a higher power level the story was ruined

                >That seems counter to the original intent, which was that of a hard to kill organism.
No, the originsl intent was always that 682 is some bizarre abstract abomination that's mostly just fricking around with us and could do whatever it pleased if it cared to get off it's ass. Per Gears himself

                :

                >SCP-682 is not, in any way, a biological entity as we understand biology.

                >Not at all.

                >No.

                >It is a…thing, which has somehow formed a "shell" or "growth" that we have numbered SCP-682. What it is, i have no idea, but i doubt it normally has a form we would call "corporeal". Anything dealing with normal biological processes does not count with 682. Hurting it is like shaving the hair off a human: annoying, but not deadly.

                >Time, space, and states of matter must function VERY differently where ever this thing is from, and it is functioning on those rules, not ours. It's like playing checkers against someone playing chess. it's the same board, but the rules and the pieces are totally different.

                >…At least, that's my opinion. When looked at it from that stand, 682 gets a little more unsettling. It's a cheating bastard at reality, and can cause folks to get more and more frustrated and hopeless as they continue to work with it. It's not a Old One or a shapeless force, it has a form and a will that seem to make sense to us…yet we can't win. We can't beat it, or control it…we can just slow it down for a while. Something about that seems to grind against the standard human will.

This is all just from Gears, all the way back in 2009. The intent has always been that 682 is something that totally violates all reality and that it's physical manifestation is ultimately meaningless to the whole, that everything the Foundation does is a delaying tactic at best.

SCP-096 is pretty fair with how it works according to the article. The real question comes from how it would handle people that are in space or another dimension. No one cares about the vague fatass monster in a pocket dimension it draws mass from. It's immaterial literally and from a narrative standpoint. Do people give a shit about Cyclop's punch dimension or Nightcrawler's brimstone dimension? It's the desiccated alligator that's the problem and presumably the big-dick danger monster.

It becomes a will-off, as the energy responds to will, and that's why Hal smokes Doom. He's got better succ, more powers, more speed, and the better will.

Consider this--Doom in both secret wars subconsciously sabotaged himself because he knew he wasn't worthy of the power, and his will was broken by the Thing. Hal's will has never been broken, and he knows he's 100% worthy of having power.

why the frick is the SCPverse so fricking wanked by its own writers? what happened to the concept of "global organization contains weird shit to keep normies safe?"

      Anonymous

Because it is open to anyone to contribute. It doesn't help that there is no hard canon so people do not mind if you wank on the site. Also there is still the occasional SCP that is just contained simply because.

If canon stuff takes more presidence than any fanmade stuff, why wouldn't he be able to make him becoming stronger than the lizard canon?

CAS does not have any kind of narrative manipulation and jobs to a couple billion suns and a specified number of 52 universes.

Mandrakk was an analog for the author wasn't he? Using that logic, any anon editing a wiki entry is giving them a taste of CAS's power right? Correct me of I'm wrong.

            Anonymous

            >Mandrakk was an analog for the author wasn't he?
No, Mandrakk was simply the archetype of the Vampire as a cosmic ur-predator who eats stories, which isn't unique to him since all the Monitors feed on them. He wasn't an analog or metaphor for anything, and even came back in another story to show that he survived the Overdo it whereas CAS was irreversibly damaged by only a couple of his attacks.

Death Metal also showed him as one of the many villains manipualted by Perpetua's machinations and Infinite Frontier/Justice League Incarnate/Dark Crisis also reveals that he was always an avatar of the Great Darkness, so even the notion of him being some kind of meta-horror (itself a meme perpetuated by people who never read his story) has long since been retconned.

Interesting read. I'll take a 2nd look at it. But frick me, is this implying batkek usurps 682 in brokenness?

it is speculated by some, though it hasn’t been confirmed by Grant “Supergays are bald trannies” Morrison, that Mandrakk is a stand in for Alan Moore who seeks to destroy the comic book industry using his evil caveman witchcraft. Morrison himself does witchcraft when he writes (literally has claimed to do this with sigils and masturbation) so it’s probably not far off from reality

I always saw CAS as a character who takes over comic narritives to make himself win in the end. Plus the 4th wall awareness seemed above deadpool's since he acknowledged he was a character in a comic instead of cracking jokes. Hope he isn't trying to add supes to the legbeard religion.

The only time he's made a stand in for Moore was All-Beard, a Subway Hobo Pirate in a desperate battle for control of the Subway System in New York with rival No-Beard.

          Anonymous

Doomslayer is too slow for her. Same reason he could never beat a Flash or Sonic. His time or speed manipulation skills are far from being his forte. His attack charging speed is also terrible. With his best equipment and prep time, Doomslayer's biggest destructive feat is leaving behind a new crater on Mars's surface. So, he doesn't quite make it to planetary.

Honestly, not sure if he can even beat Goku. The Davoth fight was too underwhelming to take his lore at face value. And this is not taking into account Xenoverse Goku nor updated Bayo, which will likely leave less room for doubt.

Doomguy definitely beats Master Chief and updated Doomslayer could may be beat Kratos. Then again, Kratos is about to gain new feats and stats with Ragnarok.

Based purely on his own accomplishments, base Gil is in that nebulous "too strong to be street tier, not strong enough to be a Marvel herald" area. He could probably reduce a mountain to rubble easily, fights with guys that deflect automatic machinegun fire, and has interesting esoteric abilities including a weapon that has been shown to break a pocket dimension about the size of a football field. The marker sniffers will probably tell you base Gil is MFTL and multiversal, but that's almost certainly untrue. Yukari probably outhaxes him given her demonstrated feats (that time she merged day and night was weird as shit) but it runs into the question of whether she can overcome his considerable passive magic resistance.

The problem isn't the math behind the calc, the problem is the assumptions. Swan abuses the concept of cinematic time to take the event out of context to give SC a speed (and every other stand that scales to it, by extension) that would utterly break the setting. Instead of recognizing the adaptation's version as effectively being a dramatized slide of gameplay mechanics, where SC just had his sword in the right place at the right time as a result of a calculated ambush, he thinks SC was moving fast enough that the beam of light HM was traveling in was frozen. He takes the David Productions adaptation of the scene as unassailable, gospel truth even if his interpretation makes no sense with Polnareff's own admissions regarding SC's speed.

I think Bond is the biggest offender and the finest example of Swank's flawed speed calcs. For exactly the reasons you mentioned.

Bond is by far the biggest offender.

You're special ed if you think anyone working on the script, the film, or marketing thought "yeah, in the Moonraker laser scene the characters are juking at Warp 10."

          You're simply insane.

The biggest JB fans on Earth would ask what the frick is wrong with you if you started talking to them about Bond's secret superpower to move faster than his car but only to dodge bullets.

An outlier would be if in one movie James Bond uppercutted Blofeld into the sun. An outlier would be something that actually happened. James Bond did not move faster than light in any of his films and if you think he did you are moronic.

I think Super Sonic will be on the weak side in Frontiers since they use him in normal bosses.

      Anonymous

      >normal bosses
There's nothing to indicate that the Titans are weak. The fact that the very first one mogs base Sonic who could casually solo Perfect Chaos in Generations (who previously needed Super Sonic to beat) means they're massively stronger than an entity that's stated multiple times over to be capable of surface-wiping the planet and can drain the emeralds. Base Sonic could also damage Imperfect Dark Gaia, who split the planet just by waking up.

That single Titan would beat many characters to death just via scaling alone, even before we get into the necessity of needing Super Sonic to fight it on even grounds.

It's literally directly stated in-game that Chaos has the capacity of lifewiping the planet. In fact, the first time it woke up, it DID cause a worldwide catastrophe. It shot down a massive flying fortress in a single shot, (whose official size is apparently 789 meters in length) then went and drained almost all of the power from the Chaos Emeralds, leaving them as dull grey rocks before discarding them (for reference, powering a cannon that shattered half the moon wasn't even enough to drain the seven emeralds and a weapon that can annihilate whole star clusters, the Final Egg Blaster, is implicitly weaker than they are).

Tikal herself, the one who originally sealed Chaos was very clear that if it wasn't stopped, it would go on to destroy the world, just like it nearly did in ancient times. You can feel free to ignore the overwhelming amount of evidence, but you'll just look more and more like a moron.

The "other guy" doesn't have a point; Tikal herself backs up that it can destroy the world, timeframe doesn't matter.

You have also yet to address the fact that Chaos could drain the emeralds, when the only other thing to have done so (Dark Gaia) is inarguably planet-level and the emeralds are actually used to set the chunks of the planet back together back in Unleashed, meaning that they have planet level energy capacity. Not even a moon busting laser could actually drain the energy of the emeralds.

choas only used the negative power of the emeralds, and its been said the negative energy is weaker than the positive

That isn't evidence. Saying that Sonic "should" be able to do something or spouting on about the "real power" of the emeralds is ultimately meaningless without defining what he means.

Also, you do realize that even in the game itself, Perfect Chaos takes on Super Sonic on even grounds? So that immediately shoots a hole in the idea that the negative and positive energy have some sort of inherent divide in terms of power.

Chaos drained the emeralds, period. What charged them back up was positive emotions and energy, but there's nothing in any media stating that the negative energy was the only thing that was taken or that it was "weaker" even if it was.

Really? Oh, boy. If Vader cuts off his ring finger, Sauron automatically explodes. And his finger was cut off by a broken sword made by some dwarf. No way that thing is more powerful than a lightsaber.

        Anonymous

Tbf that was just the movie. In the books he was dead before his finger was cut off by Isildur.

Not that it matters much though. *Non-wanked* Sauron doesn't have the physical stats nor the had to take on Legends Vader.

Even if the ring does work on Vader, which it probably does, that in no way helps Sauron actually win the fight.

        1. When Sauron is wearing the ring, it's not like it makes everyone in the vicinity not want to kill him. Otherwise Isildur wouldn't have been fighting alongside his dad and Elrond.

        2. While the ring still existing would allow Sauron to regain a physical form, the process takes a long ass time. When his body was destroyed in Numenor it was dozens if not hundreds of years before he could "take shape" again. Same when he was killed at the end of the Second Age.

        3. Assuming Vader does wear the ring, it's not like he becomes a puppet of Sauron or anything. That's only the lesser rings (and even then that's after years of influence on the men and dwarves wearing them). While Sauron could spy on the wearers, and that the ring can "corrupt" people wearing it, it merely leads them to do evil.

Galadriel even says that if she were to get the ring, she'd overthrow Sauron and take his place instead. Gandalf likewise says this. Hell Saruman plans on it.

What was the theme for Shadow vs Ryuko? "red and black". Mewtwo vs Tetsuo? "capes". Korra vs Storm? "brown". Macho Man vs Kool-Man Man? "oh yeah". The rather shallow "scary men in black armor" is more than good enough for them, likely.

Huh, didn't consider that possibility either. I still think Sauron is fighting Arthas, though. But Vader or Voldemort would be a nice surprise.

They'll do Cinder vs Azula and you'll like it.

Source or it's not happening, though I wouldn't put it past them.

Are you asking this of the same group that booked Bond vs Wick? The same ones who think Ant-Man vs Atom didn't have enough cultural pull and then did Zatanna vs Wanda and Black Adam vs Apocalypse? Because it's the two of the biggest villains in film, which is why Voldemort vs Sauron is also possible.

What was the theme for Shadow vs Ryuko? "red and black". Mewtwo vs Tetsuo? "capes". Korra vs Storm? "brown". Macho Man vs Kool-Man Man? "oh yeah". The rather shallow "scary men in black armor" is more than good enough for them, likely.

    >we were robbed out of Green Goblin vs Joker
    >we got Harley vs Jinx instead
    why

      Anonymous

They legitimately thought that Harley vs Jinx was going to do big numbers. The Superman vs Goku of female combatants, right?

Guaranteed to surpass even a divisive fight, like Yang vs Tifa, especially since this time both girls are disgustingly mainstream. Might as well spend most of the season's budget on it.

Norman should fight someone new that he doesn't just drone strike and BTFO easily.

It's Joker. Nowadays in things like Arkham City and Injustice, he would laugh before dying. MK11 is an exception to this because you can torture joker as much as you want.

That's not interesting enough to me to outweigh that the match itself is boring.

Why does no one ever mention for bosses like Chaos that you're always specifically attacking their weak point
It's like going inside someone and directly attacking their brain, how can you scale from that?

      Anonymous

The same way you scale any other combat feat. Especially because you can damage bosses in Sonic games even when not specifically attacking their weakpoints.

The only reason this might be an exception with Chaos is because it's literally made of water, but you can damage it in all its previous forms regardless.

On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate DeathBattle's booking this season?

      CapeworldComics

      So far? 3/10.

Nothing has really popped outside Hercules vs Monkey and that's one episode.

      Anonymous

Booking? Because overall the fights are good but nothing inspired, I will give them points for finally doing live action movies again though
      6

      Anonymous

3/10 and that's being generous. The only solid bookings this season have been
      >Herc vs Wukong
      >Trunks vs Silver
      >Omni Man vs Homelander (and only for the actual fight)
Everything else has been either boring (All the capeshit) or absolute fricking shit (Bond vs Wick)

      Anonymous

I don't know. I can recognize some matchups as crap (Omni-lander, Bond/Wick, Mags/Tets), but it's mostly just fights I don't care about. The only truly inspired matchup they've done this season is Hercs vs Monke, and that episode was just fine.

      >They'll do Cinder vs Azula and you'll like it.
      So an Azula stomp?

      How so?

        Anonymous

        >How so?
By sheer virtue of Cinder being both a hilarious jobber and abjectly fricking moronic.

Like Azula at her craziest wasn't as earth-shatteringly fricking stupid as Cinder is. Even if Cinder has a power advantage she'd find a way to lose by sheer virtue of going full moron

Silver vs Trunks (Archie vs Xenoverse/Heroes) is a genuine 10/10.
Apoc vs Adam was a 5.
Bond vs Wick, Excal vs Raiden and Magneto vs Tetsuo were the worst booking decisions I've seen in a while, so those are all 1's.
Monke vs Hera was a 10/10 MU with 6/10 animation
vegana vs Thor should've happened before WW vs Thor, but it was still an 8 in terms of booking.
Omni-Man, Zatanna and Tanjiro's episodes all kinda just fall into this group of "who kept asking for these?" So I'd say they're around 4's.
Jinx vs Harley, despite being moronic, at least brought a new franchise onto the show AND gave it a win, so I'd give it an 8.
Overall this season is a 4-5/10 imo, hope it picks up a bit more after Silver wins.

Jinx vs Harley: 1/10 (frick off, damaged girl fight is dumb)
Wanda vs Zatanna: 5/10 (meh, long time rivalry)
Tanjiro vs Jonathan: 3/10 (ew, was probably popularized by reddit)
Thor vs Vegeta: 5/10 (meh, it's okay)
Omni-Man vs Homelander: 5/10 (meh, really popular with the gen pop)
Magneto vs Tetsuo: 1/10 (fricking awful, both had much better)
Hercules vs Sun Wukong: 10/10 (actually great)
Boba Fett vs Predator: 8/10 (long legacy and good)
Excalibur vs Raiden: -10/10 (fricking shill fight)
James Bond vs John Wick: 3/10 (both had better but they tried to play the numbers here)
Black Adam vs Apocalypse: 5/10 (meh, sort of long time rivalry)
Xeno Trunks vs Archie Silver: 8/10 (pretty good)
      Average: 3.6/10 (F)

      5/10
Would otherwise be a 4 but having a mythology fight props it up a bit

Starting with 6 out of 10 and adding or subtracting.
      >Harley VS Jinx: Middle of the road. -0.5
      >Scarlet Witch VS Zatanna: -0.5 for having another DC right after
      >Jonathan VS Tanjiro: Neutral
      >Thor VS Vegeta: -1 for overused series and combatants with barely anything new to cover, doesn't get less because it's least been a while since Vegeta's last apperance
      >Omni-Man VS Homelander: Obvious stomp is outweighed by that it was relevant and did well for several reasons. +1
      >Magneto VS Tetsuo: Magneto has no good opponents that people also actually care about. This was lopsided, and the thematics are faulty, as well. -1
      >Hercules VS Sun Wukong: Interesting, unique subject matter, garnered interest. +1
      >Boba Fett VS Predator: Works well enough, Predator was long overdue, repeat contenders aren't as interesting, though. +0.5
      >James Bond VS John Wick: Both were good choices, just not against each other. -0.5
      >Black Adam VS Apocalypse: DC VS Marvel that nobody genuinely cares about. -1
      >Trunks VS Silver: Bland match made at least more interesting with the composite aspect. +0.5

I type too long, but here's the final score: 4.5 / 10. Depending on Sauron's match, and if anything else is interesting, they have a shot of getting back to 6, 7, or 8 if they're lucky. Using Sauron/LOTR alone gets it back to 5, but it remains to be seen if the match-up sucks

      >tanjiro vs jonathan
      Ok tok I guess
      >thor vs vegeta
      Liked it tbh
      >omni man vs homelander
      Was an entertaining stomp
      >magneto vs tetsuo
      Meh
      >hercules vs sun wukong
      Was interesting
      >boba fett vs predator
      Ok
      >excalibur vs raiden
      Obvious shill match
      >bond vs wick
      Meh
      >adam vs apocalypse
      Didn't care much really
Overall its a 4/10 for me so far.
