There is no ""argument"" to this matchup. This is Death Battle's most one-sided stomp ever. In terms of durability, attack potency, attack range, combat speed, travel speed, in every metric Gojo is gazillions times stronger than Makima. By stats alone Gojo wins, but his hax just makes this fight unfair. Hell, even if they both had a lot of hax or they don't have powers at all, the gap in power makes it unfair. It's like making a grizzly bear fight a kitten. The bear wins regardless of any circumstance. Give the bear and kitten any kind of equipment and the result remains the same. The gap is too huge.

Yea but specifically to defeat Mahito you need to be able to damage his soul, not just his body since he can transfigure himself. Cursed techniques or innate domains that are resistant enough can strike at his soul, similarly to haki-logia interaction.
I think like you said, DB will say Makima has ways to bypass infinity and combined with her massive speed advantage would take the win. I agree that they will rule that Hollow Purple could work on her, and will say "Gojo certainly could have taken the win in some situations!" like they did with Megatron.
Nicol Bolas has actual feats and a vastly larger pool of attacks. Alduin only has vague lore statements about devouring multiple universes, and we have no idea how long it would have taken him to do so. Cool matchup thematically, but I feel like Bolas stomps. Wish I could think of a decent matchup for one of the Praetors.
To be fair the only Praetor worth brainstorming a matchup for is Elesh Norn because she's the only one with a 3D model, and she's mostly fit for swarm queens such as Kerrigan and the Borg Queen

There's also the problem with the fact that there's a whole fricking 3 forms between Super Saiyan 1 in Ascended (Grade 2) Ultra (Grade 3) and Mastered (Grade 4), and does anybody really thinkg that Vegeta achieved like, a 30% boost in power from Grade 2 and went, "OH YEAH I'LL WIN NOW!"

Here's an easy way to figure this out. Daizenshuu states that Goku had a PL of 150,000,000 while fighting Frieza on Namek. Frieza, on the other hand, stated he a power level of 1,000,000, backed by his statement in Resurrection F that he would train to achieve 1,300,000. Goku's last scouter reading prior to that fight was before Ginyu, where he was at 180,000. Presuming his Saiyan boost, he's at least around 200k when he fights Frieza. At 10x power, that would double Frieza, allowing the easier fight he showed, but there still being a fight, where as at 50x he should be doing like Gohan did in the Janemba movie and one shot punching him, since his power would be roughly 10x greater than Frieza. At the 150,000,000 Daizenshuu put him at Goku would have looked in Frieza's direction and exploded him.

In terms of durability, attack potency, attack range, combat speed, travel speed, in every metric Gojo is gazillions times stronger than Makima. By stats alone Gojo wins, but his hax just makes this fight unfair. Hell, even if they both had a lot of hax or they don't have powers at all, the gap in power makes it unfair. Giving SS1 a 50 times multiplier lets him beat Frieza handedly as he isn't just stronger, he's also far more skilled, which isn't satisfying for Goku at all.
