Norman makes more sense thematically (and Iron Patriot Rhodes has been in one movie for maybe ten minutes) but that's not Norman's suit. He never had the shoulder gun. If it is Norman then the armor held up to fighting the Avengers who should rival Homelander but didn't get many wins as his battle strategy was usually to send other people (normally Sentry) at the problem.
Off the top of my head, Azathoth, Yog-sotho, and the supreme archetype from the cthulhu mythos, as they are unchanging and by their mere existence remove distinction and make separate states and things identical, embody true oneness, can manipulate concepts, and are beyond everything, and all other things arise from them and are lesser than them.
Death and non-existence aren't even things that can happen to them, due to the nature of their state of existence.

Would be cool if they had, at some point during the fight, Norman hack all of the screens in the city to show the Flight 37 video, and Homelander hears everyone talking shit about him with his super hearing, and we have a scene of him killing a the crowd with his laser.

I’m honestly really enjoying the thought of Ed Vs Gaoh Ryuki as a potential Anime Vs Fighting Game MU. I don’t know. The animation isn’t that bad in my eyes. It’s got really good storyboarding and choreography in the fights if that makes sense. They aren’t just wildly flailing and waltzing in deadlocks, everything feels pretty directed.

Even the End Self Destructing can destroy Earth, Supreme got destroyed the explosion, while Super Sonic just got blown back to Earth. Yeah no, if you're gonna copy paste VSBW then you should know that the entire cast scale into complex multi since they fodderized Void in base form.
I don't know much of DB power levels, but in 06 he's able to keep up with Solaris, although requires the help of Shadow to beat him, and in Generations Sonic and Classic Sonic beat the Time Eater.
Both the Time Eater and Solaris destroy universes/modify them and their past, present, and future, with Solaris being the more impressive of them two since he's stated to exist on "Every" one of the infinite timelines, while the Time Eater only affects 4.
Both later villains Infinite and the End are stated to be stronger then proceeding villains, with the end being untouchable by beings equal to Super Sonic in power.
Base Sonic also gets stronger as the series goes on, as he's re-fought pass bosses like Perfect Chaos, and been able to defeat them in base without having to go Super.
Perfect Chaos has seven chaos emerald, with one chaos emerald being continent moving in power both shown and in statements. So Perfect Chaos having 7 times the power probably puts him in at least planetary.

I notice that people tend to always do the upper estimate of a character's ability and be biased towards making a character stronger and stronger and its especially bad on vsbattles. I tend to lowball characters which is why I post antifeats generally speaking. Sometimes the version of a character that people use when doing vs discussions is like a completely made up fanfic version that realistically when put into their respective story would resolve the plot much easier and quickly than their real canon version. People need to focus less on making their favorite character the most powerful they can be and focus on creating a realistic representation of their abilities.

Yes, DB's approach of taking only the high ends is the best way to approach Vs debates why? Because of 3 simple things:
1: this is a fricking battle to the death we are talking about, the characters will be giving their all. It doesn't matter if Goku once made a mistake that let Krillin land a hit on his scrotum or something, in a serious battle with his life on the line he won't be Maki silly mistakes
2: characters usually get stronger over time. If it's just a nameless Spez Muhreen then yes, the Slayer could probably take one. He has far superior accolades compared to a random bog standard Marine, a much more varied arsenal and power-ups. If you go with Glory Kills and things like getting shot out of the cannon and going through walls, then he's likely up there in physicality as well. Yes, I don't think this is unreasonable to say the Slayer could beat random Space Marines

Would be cool if they had, at some point during the fight, Norman hack all of the screens in the city to show the Flight 37 video, and Homelander hears everyone talking shit about him with his super hearing, and we have a scene of him killing a the crowd with his laser.
After that Homelander could get super pissed and go to town on Norman, about to destroy him armor with all of the circuits going apeshit inside 'cause he's about to reach Norman, only for Norman to fire a huge laser he had been charging this whole time, burning the V from Homelander's system, Soldier Boy style.
Could have the death scene be similar to Black Noir's death in the comic, with Homelander just on his knees, all fricked up, without being able to do anything, with Norman towering over him. Maybe have Norman say "The only man in the sky is me" if that's not too cheesy.

I don't know much of DB power levels, but in 06 he's able to keep up with Solaris, although requires the help of Shadow to beat him, and in Generations Sonic and Classic Sonic beat the Time Eater.
Both the Time Eater and Solaris destroy universes/modify them and their past, present, and future, with Solaris being the more impressive of them two since he's stated to exist on "Every" one of the infinite timelines, while the Time Eater only affects 4.
Both later villains Infinite and the End are stated to be stronger then proceeding villains, with the end being untouchable by beings equal to Super Sonic in power.
Base Sonic also gets stronger as the series goes on, as he's re-fought pass bosses like Perfect Chaos, and been able to defeat them in base without having to go Super.
Perfect Chaos has seven chaos emerald, with one chaos emerald being continent moving in power both shown and in statements. So Perfect Chaos having 7 times the power probably puts him in at least planetary.

I notice that people tend to always do the upper estimate of a character's ability and be biased towards making a character stronger and stronger and its especially bad on vsbattles. I tend to lowball characters which is why I post antifeats generally speaking. Sometimes the version of a character that people use when doing vs discussions is like a completely made up fanfic version that realistically when put into their respective story would resolve the plot much easier and quickly than their real canon version. People need to focus less on making their favorite character the most powerful they can be and focus on creating a realistic representation of their abilities.

I don't think the Slayer would be too comfortable taking the Space Marine's firepower, mostly because of the exposed arms. If it's just a nameless Spez Muhreen then yes, the Slayer could probably take one. He has far superior accolades compared to a random bog standard Marine, a much more varied arsenal and power-ups. If you go with Glory Kills and things like getting shot out of the cannon and going through walls, then he's likely up there in physicality as well. Yes, I don't think this is unreasonable to say the Slayer could beat random Space Marines
