They backpedalled on how big the universe is, how strong their attack potency are, etc. They now view Dragonball scaling as more accurate to the manga instead of lowballing. Makima's control abilities aught to work regardless of glastig's defences as wormverse stuff doesn't run on magic-- Bluntly, in any contest of powers, the devil powers are almost certainly coming out on top against shard effects.
But that's really not enough leverage against what kind of gauntlet Glastig is going to be laying down and such a fight is going to very quickly change from ''relatively even sets of powers' to Makima getting outclassed very quickly by powers working to combo her. Because Glastig can disengage at any time into a parallel universe she has ways to create overmatch out of a mix & match set of easy bake power combination options that will just plain nuke Makima. Definitely Yang vs Tifa, but for a recent example I would say Frieza vs Megatron is a weird case. With the version of Megatron they used, Frieza absolutely stomps without question. The problem is that there were versions of Megatron that not only would have matched the fight better (he also has a Gold and Black form like Frieza), but it would have given him the win. I think the fight genuinely only exists to give Dragon Ball another win, and the casual public that knows nothing about Megatron's other material wouldn't question him getting his ass whooped. It's no coincidence that the fight where they use a highly iconic Dragon Ball character and give him the win that the average viewer would expect is the fight where they remove the early access for the sake of getting more engagement, which worked because the video is almost the highest viewed one of the season. Following it up with Gojo vs Makima is just the icing on the cake of them blatantly trying to get their show to explode in popularity again.
Thor vs Wonder Woman is so bad that Death Battle created a rule that 'Previous Death Battle results do not factor into current Match Ups' when Thor was suddenly given Planck Speed making him faster than Wonder Woman which was their main argument against Thor. Which was mostly because they ignored Thor's strength feat of pushing against the gravitational weight of multiple planets.
They also gave Wonder Woman her Goddess of War Amp but only gave Thor Warrior's Madness. No Odinforce or Rune King Thor in sight.

It'd make sense. Scoob and Courage rarely get into physical confrontations. Courage himself gets beaten by some of the villains he faced like Catz or the Fox or the Weremole.

What the hell is LIght suppose to do to Columbo? He doesn't know his name. He'd just see random guy interrogating him. Ryuk won't help because he makes a point that he's not on Light's side, and just wants to be entertained. If anything, Ryuk would Light down's name and kill Light himself instead of Columbo killing Light. At best, Light can try to throw the punch at the guy like he did L. It's such a dumb forced match.
