Disclaimer I haven't watched any of DBS, but remember when Goku got shot with a laser pistol in that Golden Frieza movie and he got an actual injury from it? Wtf was up with that? Who knows. There's never been a real definite answer. If I had to make a guess, fighters in Dragon Ball mostly use Ki. If they don't use their Ki to defend themselves and let their guards down, then they can be hurt, even one-shot by "sucker punches". You can see this happen even in Vegeta vs Goku 2, when Vegeta is able to knock Goku unconscious, even though we know for a fact that Goku is stronger and hiding a new power up.
Also Dragon Ball loves it's gags. I think with enough given time, you'll find that any superpower character is gonna get hurt/beat by something mundane. Superman gets hurt by Godzilla, Saitama can't kill a mosquito. etc.

Not instantly but generally the more weight you have, the easier it will be to move others. They’re not going to stand there like a scarecrow.
Strength and power come from things like bone density, and muscle eccentric contractions. I.e explosive force. Of course you need to be in great shape to take advantage of this but having dymanic muscles as opposed to isometric muscles means that when you 'explode' I.e. create action suddenly and with force your muscles help you deal far more damage in short bursts. But you'll have bad cardio.
Example, if you're a training your muscles like a sprinter you'll be far more athletic and deal far more damage in short periods (imo this is more realistic because when you get in real fights they're often very short)
But if you train yourself like a marathoner you'll be able to fight longer but your strikes wont be as damaging. (this is for fighting in 30 minute bouts)

Yeah but if you have a significant height and weight advantage. I'm talking like...5'5 vs 6'5 and at least 50-80 pounds advantage. But if one party is really good at not getting grabbed and the other is not so good at grabbing. The grabber might get rocked before the grabbing can be done. Big guy loses 7/10 times.
But if it's a fight between the same dudes only this time neither of the dudes can fight? big guy wins every time.
Realistically speaking anyone can be knocked out if you make their brain slosh inside their head but what actually decides a fight is someone's recovery and drive. For instance there's guys in the ufc that get hit perfectly, their limbs turn to noodles and they rag doll for a split second but then spring back up and continue fighting while their opponent gives up to exhaustion to get a win.

About Superman vs Goku being a chimpout... Frick, this one is more complicated. Similar to Megatron vs Frieza, it's hard to determine a winner. It all depends on the sources you use, especially if they are both composites. I think most would agree that Goku is consistently more powerful than most Supermen, because his powerlevel doesn't get reset or rebooted after some years. But just like Megatron could have defeated Frieza if they had gone with his most broken, but obscure upgrades, Superman can beat Goku again if they favor him in the research. It's easier to keep track of anime, manga, and Xeno/Heroes Goku (former two are around the same powerlevel anyway), but Superman? His powerlevels are so inconsistent across all of his media. Don't think there will ever be a definitive winner for this MU.

Superman's power will always vary on the circumstance, Goku will always be training. If you take both of them at this current slice in their history, Goku has a good chance of winning. If you take them at their best powerlevel in their history, then Superman will win.
But for how long? Goku is always training. If there's something that he can't beat, he's just gonna train harder. I can accept that Goku can't beat Superman in some matchups, probably most matchups. But you can't tell me Goku would ever just stop. I don't think there's a character in fiction who trains more willingly.

Let alone the fact a fight itself is chaotic (which by definition means in an actual real fight the verredict can change even with something outside the calculations out of sheer unexpected momentum) and as such cannot just get a reliable result until it ends, there's also the sea of probabilities of the characters doing something smart, something dumb, or just law of murphy's attack suddenly make any veredict replaceable.
Goku's training is a non-factor because simply put, the rules of this dumb show stablishes a cap (no matter how arbitrary or convenient it is) is due. If you want some self-improvement and badassery mixed with heartwarming moments....this show is terrible for that.
If you want a pity victory, then you are a fool. If you want the result remain the same for spite or loyalty, you are also a fool. this is just profiting in internet drama plain and simple.

The Master through it was him, and he beat the Doctor in the fight scene you just posted, which wasn't "omniversal" by any stretch of one's imagination and only happened due to extremely circumstantial conditions and was based on their wills and self esteems
It was stated they’d have “equal power but not equal experience” as they were inside the Glory, which can be interpreted that they both had the Glory’s power in that duel and the Doctor lost because he wasn’t as familiar with it.
But even if the Doctor isn’t assumed to have the Glory as standard equipment (which is fair enough), there’s still another comic where he did absorb the time vortex (ala Bad Wolf). While not as ‘omniversal’ as the Glory, he’s still fairly powerful in this state. I think a battle with Alien X would depend on how the Doctor’s more insane feats are interpreted.
They were fighting over who gets to -have- the Glory. They fought with ambiguous "equal powers fuelled by your own sense of purpose" by virtue of being IN the Omniversal Spectrum, with the Master knowing more -about- the Ominversal Spectrum. If they both had the Glory, they would have said so. I must reiterate, neither the Doctor nor the Master could just "tap" into the OS at any given time they fricking feel like it, nor did the Doctor at any point control it. It was the Cyberman Kroton who became the new host. Meanwhile you spent two weeks assuring us that the Doctor was the host, the chosen vessel, the one who can access it anytime he wants when he has no control over it since it was given to Kroton. And if asked if Kroton would help him out in his future adventures, the Doctor said no.

To be completely honest, most of the wincons I’ve seen discussed for the Doctor against Alien X involve dimensional/6D/etc. scaling from things like the Quantum Archangel novels.
