Gojo vs Makima is the perfect example of right for the wrong reasons. Yeah they got the details of the PM contract wrong but the contract doesn't matter to begin with because Makima's contract has never been used to redirect soulhax or mindfrickery and Unlimited void falls under both those categories. Arguing that it would protect her is a massive NLF
But they got both the contract AND its functionality wrong? They literally compared it to Santa Claus redirecting Halloween throughout her puppets, which falls under soulhax and mindhax, and they used it to say that her redirection wouldn’t be enough to stave off ALL of the info dump, meaning that they still thought it COULD redirect it in the first place. So they got basically everything about Makima wrong outside of her basic ki blast. Wow, how impressive. She could counter most of his arsenal but Gojo's healing made it so he couldn't get one shotted so easily and UV could help him use said Wincon more consistently, while all of Makima's Wincons are a little more inconsistent due to the esoteric nature of her powers.
Still the episode was shit and the fight a complete disservice for both franchises.

Besides what has been talked to dead (misunderstood powers, characterization, choreography, etc) what disappointed me the most was the "style" of the battle itself.
JJK is an extremely strategic battle Shounen, and CSM's entire power system relies on Hax and esoteric shit.
The most interesting thing about this battle is seeing how would these two characters engage and try to circumvent each other's Hax.
What we got instead was the most brute and simple interpretation of both's characters powers. Just imagine having the power to essentially throw an endless amount of fodder to your enemy (zombie devil) and the most creative use you come up with is throwing zombies like proyectiles using chains.
The animation itself was good, because DB has talented people working with then, but it could have been something truly unique. Gojo literally fights like his skin in mobile legends does...
Gojo can't heal from his torso being blown to bits, which is what would happen if he got hit by finger guns considering he doesn't have the durability to stop getting stabbed by a knife.
It was surprising they let him get hit by it, honestly, but it's confusing why they made it only make baseball-sized holes in him.
Overall thought I think it is a pretty close to 50/50 matchup which was the interesting part about it. Who wins depends on how you interpret multiple important points that have no answer in canon, so it's arbitrary to some extent.
Death battle can't even handle grug punching powerscaling in a way that doesn't piss people off I don't know why anyone would ever expect any remotely esoteric abilities to be portrayed well in the first place
We've seen Gojo withstand Sukuna's domain without any technique active. Fingers shouldn't have even left a mark on him.

I don't think Bang shouldn't be able to hit Gojo but I don't think it should be blasting holes in him either given there's a limit to Bang's force (ex. makima taking several shots to send pochita to space)
Don't underestimate the amount of force it takes to get to space. Being able to do that with just a few shots of instantaneous impulses rather than constant thrust, it's not surprising that it would paste someone's body when used against a person.
Obviously it would paste any person but it's Gojo, several shots to get to space won't calc out past his durability. At most it would hurt but making holes is unlikely since it's not a piercing force either, having a larger and flatter surface area would only reduce the force as it doesn't act like a proper bullet.
Gojo should have above Normal human resistance, still not enough to survive finger guns considering it has enough power to send someone to orbit with a few of them.
For animation purposes it would have been better to not overuse the finger gun and just open the fake out with that (maybe a huge injury but not as huge as what happened to power) and then have Makima attacking Gojo internally with her telekinesis. That would be looked less moronic

Superman’s inconsistancies actually have in-universe explainations. The obvious one is the ammount of sunlight he has in him. But the other is his sense of will. This was perfectly shown in the sixth dimension arc. In it, Superman was stranded on a planet with no sunlight. He was so drained that he couldn’t even fly. He would jump a few inches off the ground and fall to the ground. But then he had a “remember my friends” moment and was able to launch off the planet with such speed that he destroyed it. Pic related. To use VStismwiki terms, he jumped up multiple tiers just with a change of mindset. And that was when he was running on empty.

There have been a few more powerups/techniques since that rematch (Super Saiyan God and Ultra Instinct most directly), not to mention the shenanigans in DB Heroes.
The question for me remains this: What debunks their original conclusion? "Man who breaks any limit" versus "Man with no limits at all".

Speaking only as an outsider who's thoroughly enjoyed your doing concise summaries. Eidolon and Alexandria seemed pretty fricking tough. Legend a lot less so.
I could see Alexandria standing comfortably mid S Class for OPM with the strength of Puri or Tank Top, but the intellect and strategic ability of Child Emperor or Drive Knight. Eidolon is harder to place but he seems like he could roll with Metal Knight, Genos, Tatsumaki or Flashy given the options he has to roll with. Legend by contrast should probably be playing around with mid-low dragon class threats just because he can't 'cheat' like the other two and apply hax in his fight with indestructability and the infinite selection of powers respectively.
