Because his physical stats still scale to Earth-One and Earth-Two, because he was treated as their equal in Convergence and had a fist fight with Kal-L. So anything to do with strength or speed from the silver and golden age New Earth should get.
What he doesn't get from them would be things like super hypnotism and time barrier powers (though there was a recent issue where Supergirl traveled through time, time travel is normally depicted as something New Earth can't do). Both powers are solid wincons against Goku.

Vegeta was only able to overcome Babidi's majin tat with time and concentration. It thoroughly fricked him for hours. Given how much of Goku's power relies on concentration and focus, a single second of hypnotism induced hesitation will screw him.
