Will Syril finally score in season 2?
Syril is going to get cucked and then join the rebels. He'll probably die fighting the Empire as a suicide bomber.
Damn it, this always happens. I think I'm gonna score, and then I never score. It's not fair. We've traveled, um, a hundred miles 'cause we thought we were gonna score. But now it's not gonna happen. Damn it!
I'm sick and tired of this! We're never gonna score. It's just not gonna happen! We're just gonna get old like these people... but they've probably scored!
It's, like, this chick's a bawd. And look at this guy. He's old, but he's probably scored a million times!
But not us. We're never gonna score! We're never gonna score! We're never gonna score!
No woman could ever be more threatening than a man. Sorry, I can only suspend my disbelief so much.
Thrawn isn't a man, he's a blue alien lardass.
Still more threatening than a frail and weak woman lol
fat old guy with tiny 12 year old shoulders and his extremely slow zombie goons who get knocked out by wind and cat hit anything within point blank range, truly terrifying. bravo sloploni, nice hat btw
Can S2 give Saw Gerrera some actual role in the narrative other than a glorified cameo? I want to see him commit some bad shit. Surely, they will show how he became disfigured as he was in Rogue One?
>Dude the imperial officers you kill here will quickly be replaced, it's much smarter to gather intel and deliver a more significant blow later on
>...
>...m-muh sacrifices have to be made
What a fricking moron.
Saw is so much consumed by hatred and anger, that he's becoming less rational as the time goes on. He lost too much. By the end of his life in Rogue One, he is a half-mad cripple living in a fricking cave.
they stayed true to the sequels

died from cringe
I hate how the facial animations look in Filonipiss. They're trying to go for this edgy, gritty tone but the way their faces jerk around and they move their whole body while speaking looks so cartoony and cringe.
Show me a cartoon with good facial animations. This isn't live-action, where a performance can be conveyed with a subtle muscle twitch. This is a stylized animation, and these are computer models. They are, of course, more expressive in their movements to convey emotion. Filoni also didn't animate it.
genndy tartakovsky could run circles around that awkward drivel without even breaking a sweat
ahahahah
Hahahahahahah
moron.
i think they're trying to emulate the exaggerated movement that is needed to convey body language and emotion in 2d animation
except that the show isn't 2d and the movements look moron in 3d, whether its live action or cgi
Because Thrawn has been around a lot longer and has essentially become a running joke. "Le 800 IQ genius man who loses because he meant to lose". Sooner or later Dedra is gonna job too.
>Sooner or later Dedra is gonna job too
I got a "job" for her, haha
a blow one, for literally me Syril if you can intuit the meaning from my insinuation...
imagine being her prisoner and being degraded by her feet as an interrogation tactic
Uh she would just use the death screams of baby aliens cranked up to 11 on you
What does she do if the person is deaf?
Wears her boots all day, then forces you to smell imperial foot sweat until you break
Reminder that Dave Filoni could never write dialogue like this in a million years.

Ahsoka's dialogue is laughably bad in comparison.
We didn't deserve Andor
Not to be snobbish but I don't think any of the writing is particularly profound. It's just the standard anti-authority rhetoric set to atmospheric music. But all the actors do a fantastic job here and it is a million times better than what FIloni does.
It's "better" than anything George Lucas has ever written, too. Why are Andor fans like this? They make it really hard to like Andor when they come off as a bunch of snobbish pretentious teenagers who hate Star Wars, yet they consoom a Star Wars product and consider it good only because it is nothing like Star Wars.
another buzzword vending machine le heckin based boy, how tiresome
Too afraid to reply directly, eh? Got anything substantial to say, as in an actual argument? So far the only one who's spewing out buzzwords is you.
> le heckin based boy
Those two posts only said it's better than Filoni's cartoon writing. They didn't mention George Lucas anywhere, anon
Filoni didn't write cartoons. He doesn't have any writing credit whatsoever on the original run of Clone Wars. He hasn't written Bad Batch. He wrote very little of Rebels. When it comes to Ahsoka writing, it's not that different from George's writing on the prequels and even the OT. Stylistically and structurally, it's very similar. I brought this up, because this snobbish, pretentious anon couldn't help himself, and decided to bring this up out of nowhere for some reason.
He shares two things with George: a complete inability to write dialogue and a preference for cool set-pieces over logical plotting, but the similarities end there.
In an ideal world, Andor wouldn't be set in the Star Wars universe, or perhaps set in a "What if?" AU. That way people could enjoy it without the issue of whether or not it belongs in Star Wars.
>They make it really hard to like
do you also refuse to watch things because of a fanbase? If so, youre gay.
what andor fan has ever said they hated star wars?
NTA but I've seen a few who really seem to look down on the OT and say Andor does everything better. Personally I like both but for completely different reasons. It's easy to see why it would be polarising.
They do in every single thread. Just look through the archives.
I enjoy Andor but ikr. Lets not kid ourselves, at the end of the day its still slop
It's not offensively slop. Not everything has to be avant garde. I couldn't stand watching The Color of Pomegranates, then reading Arno Schmidt, followed by listening to German Free Jazz before bed. Niche appeal/art is ruined when everyone becomes invested. The ideal media landscape has high quality movies, many smaller films under the surface, a lot of indie productions and some avant garde.
You b***h
Luthen's is the best. One of the rare "true" examples of sacrifice, and not just waahhh I dont get a family tripe shit.
Not just dialogue, Filoni is shit at basic plotting and characterization. Ahsoka is the worst written show in all of Disney Star Wars, worse than Kenobi, worse than Boba Fett, worse than Mando S3.
>worse than Kenobi, worse than Boba Fett, worse than Mando S3.
That is simply not true.
Because she doesn't sit idly in her lair like somekind of Raid Boss like Thrawn or Gideon (although Gideon was made a bit more charismatic and menacing)
It is.
At least in Kenobi every character was given proper exposition, we knew their intentions, their goals. The show issue was that instead of Vader and Obi-Wan arc it's been turned into "Inquisitor Reva: backstory".
Meanwhile in Ahsoka, nothing is showed or detailed except of Ahsoka-Sabine failed lesbo-romance and even this arc have no logical continuation outside of "Sabine and Ahsoka got their level-ups and finally can become functional duo of Batman and Robin"
>Meanwhile in Ahsoka, nothing is showed or detailed
How much was detailed in the Star Wars movies? How much was detailed about Ben Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in A New Hope other than a 60 seconds infodump? How much was detailed about Boba Fett, Emperor? How much was detailed about any of the prequel villains?
>except of Ahsoka-Sabine failed lesbo-romance and even this arc have no logical continuation outside of "Sabine and Ahsoka got their level-ups and finally can become functional duo of Batman and Robin"
The logical continuation is Ahsoka accepting Sabine fully as her student and standing by her no matter what, which was possible only after Ahsoka herself had resolved her issues with Anakin and his legacy as Darth Vader, whereas before that she stopped training Sabine out of fear that she is too unpredictable and might become dangerous.
Kenobi was dumb as shit and the single worst written piece of Star Wars ever made. Obi-Wan willingly not finishing Vader and condemning the galaxy for another decade of death and destruction alone makes it so, ruining the entire saga. As well as him failing at the only task he'd been given, Bail Organa revealing Luke's location like a moron via a holocall, and Luke surviving only through the mercy of Reva. Like I said, you are a dishonest moron.
>How much was detailed in the Star Wars movies?
Pretty well. Sidious, Dooku, Nute Gunray etc intentions were clear as their goals.
>How much was detailed about Ben Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker in A New Hope other than a 60 seconds infodump?
Did A New Hope had 8 episodes or it was a single movie with budget smaller than Ahsoka one episode?
>The logical continuation is Ahsoka accepting Sabine fully as her student and standing by her no matter what
By pure coincedence at the same time as Sabine got level up in her Force mana pool
>only after Ahsoka herself had resolved her issues with Anakin
When and where?
>Kenobi was dumb as shit and the single worst written piece of Star Wars
And then Ahsoka outplaced him so Kenobi ended up of being Solo of Star Wars Live Action series.
>Dooku, Nute Gunray etc intentions were clear as their goals.
lol
lmao even
>By pure coincedence at the same time as Sabine got level up in her Force mana pool
Yeah, that's how the Force works. Doubt and fear block your potential. Did you even watch the movies?
>When and where?
Episode 5
>And then Ahsoka outplaced him so Kenobi ended up of being Solo of Star Wars Live Action series.
No. You're a dishonest moron.
>lol
>lmao even
Nice argument
>Doubt and fear block your potential.
And Sabine magically removed all her fears for no reasons at all.
>Episode 5
Where?
>No. You're a dishonest moron.
Nice damage control
What the frick she just touched his helmet and he got a concussion or what
I'm convinced there was some company mandate that even baby Leia needs to be shown as skilled and resourceful resulting in this absurd chase
That's most definitely what happened, this is the nadir of girl bosses.
>I'm convinced there was some company mandate
nah i bet it's just bad writing. Like hmm how should we portray Leia, oh I know she will be a 30 year old child that's smarter and wittier than everyone!!!!! Its just pure cliche
It is complete shit but Ahsoka isn't that bad. Episode 4 on its own solos whatever Boba and Kenobi were
ahsoka has the worst acting in all of shart wars, on par with the boba fat show. The choreography is also horrible, its like out of shape star wars fans slowly and clumsily swinging their plastic toy sabers in a youtube fan film. I cant believe that a professional studio released this shit lol
Honestly I mostly agree, but I still have a soft spot for the understated charisma of Ray Stevenson. His presence was enough to carry me across the series, he'd enhance the atmosphere by just being present. It's a shame this was his final performance.
>ahsoka has the worst acting in all of shart wars
Nah. Ray Stevenson was excellent. As was Ivanna Sakhno. Their performances alone were better than anything in Mandalorian/Boba Fat/Kenobi. Hayden was also pretty good. Lars Mikkelsen gave a decent performance. As well as David Tennant. There were plenty of good performances.
>The choreography is also horrible, its like out of shape star wars fans slowly and clumsily swinging their plastic toy sabers in a youtube fan film.
Nah. It had some good fights, some not so good. But better than Kenobi and Mando.
>dawson actually putting some decent footwork finally on episode 8..
shit she actually got a lot better and fight scene looks much better
These middle aged women move too slowly for this to be anything but laughable. The one who's trained in martial arts has to match Ahsoka's snail pace.
You need to lay off the drugs you're on.
>Ahsoka is the worst written show in all of Disney Star Wars,
yep, she doesn't even grow or change
Pure unfiltered kino
Luthens speech is so kino, but the way it ends it gigakino. He presses the button and closes the doors on the guy lmao
I think B is my favourite character in the story. He must be protected.
>I think B is my favourite character in the story. He must be protected.
B2EMO is truly one of the best droid characters in star wars. I truly love him.
He sucks.
>droid but constantly le sad
That's his entire personality. He is one-note. His entire concept is emotionally manipulative from the get go. He doesn't really have any pathos or depth. He is as much of a toy bait, as BB-8 or Baby Yoda. Design is also boring as frick. He's got nothing on Threepio or other leading droids in SW.
1/10 bait.
>no argument
Concession accepted.
I uh, I don't think anybody asked bro
>C-3PO
>The guy whose singular gimmick is being a wimpy British guy
Lmao opinion discarded
That's more than can be said about cringe 2 emo.
when she starts humming to the stone and sky chant... i get chills every time
What's with that show and fricking monologues? Has to be the lamest trope.
That's what happens when a writer starts sniffing on his own farts. No person realistically talks like that, other than politicians that have literal speeches written for them. It makes sense for the Nemick's manifesto, as it is in character for an idealistic, educated young rebel, who had literally sit down and wrote it as a manifesto, a literary form. But everything else is cringe and forced, tbh. Luthen and the old lady especially.
>No person realistically talks like that,
yes they do idiot. You just have a boring life.
>I made my mind a sunless place. I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there is only one conclusion. I'm damned for what I do.
This is movie dialogue. No one actually converses like this IRL. If you think it's normal to speak this way you're either a fedora-wearing teenager or just autistic. Go outside, touch grass, talk to normal people.
>No one actually converses like this IRL.
I guarantee you have done it and seen people do it. Usually its reserved for moments like leaving your wife, or telling your boss off or whatever... there are kino moments in life where this happens.
Again, either fedora-tipper or autistic.
>there are kino moments in life where this happens.
and you can bet that if you were the leader of a rebellion and some guy asked you what you had sacrificed... as if you had it easy.. you would go on the same monologue since no one probably ever asked you that before.
>Ask a guy what he's sacrificing
>He starts rambling about sunless places, ghosts and equations
You'd look for a new leader
>No one actually converses like this IRL.
And somehow it is bad? It's a fricking cinema, not a life documentary. It is supposed to have some climatic moments.
>And somehow it is bad?
No I never said that. At least put in the minimal effort of reading the reply chain.
It's a trope that's survived millennia, nothing wrong with a good soliloquy here and there. "Show don't tell" is for basic b***hes
>"Show don't tell" is for basic b***hes
Spoken like a true midwit
No it's true actually, "Show don't tell" originated from a school of thought funded by American countermeasures against communist influence. Your video essays weren't actually providing valuable insight, they just parroted common sentiment without critical thought. Sorry
You've said nothing meaningful in that post, which makes me even more certain you're a midwit.
I've given more than I've received.
You've received more than you deserve.
stop replying then
lol got him
>Calm. Kindness. Kinship. Love. I’ve given up all chance at inner peace. I’ve made my mind a sunless space. I share my dreams with ghosts. I wake up every day to an equation I wrote 15 years ago from which there’s only one conclusion, I’m damned for what I do. My anger, my ego, my unwillingness to yield, my eagerness to fight, they’ve set me on a path from which there is no escape. I yearned to be a savior against injustice without contemplating the cost and by the time I looked down there was no longer any ground beneath my feet. What is my sacrifice? I’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them. I burn my decency for someone else’s future. I burn my life to make a sunrise that I know I’ll never see. And the ego that started this fight will never have a mirror or an audience or the light of gratitude. So what do I sacrifice? Everything.
Filoni just can't compete.
k-kino...
STONE AND SKY
You think they like each other or did she shit and piss herself here
I think it's being hinted at that the guy actually redeems himself.
But I expected him to score against Luthen. The low guy no one has on his radar actually takes out Axis or makes the first step. I know the guy, I have his ship. Or something like that.
Because as is he just saved her life. I don't see why she, in character, wouldn't still have him demoted for not following orders. That's something the Empire would do. But, mind you, it would be good if the Empire actually does start to change against the Rebellion, but it's not a thorough change and that leads to the downfall. Infighting and no grand plan. The Rebels are motivated and are shown to have just as much of a strategy as the Empire.
Those would play into the WW2 inspiration we see in the original films.
>I don't see why she, in character, wouldn't still have him demoted for not following orders. That's something the Empire would do
I also want to see this. Dedra is great because she is the embodiment of the coldness in the Empire. She is vulnerable in the sense that she wants to gain the approval of her superiors and be promoted but otherwise she is infallible. That's the way it should stay. But I have a feeling she's gonna get a soft spot because le quirky man waited outside her office for her.
>le quirky man waited outside office
That's what happens in real life though, and works pretty much every other time. For every restraining order made there are rings put on a pair of fingers.
>let's throw away her character for a generic romance plot
Terrible idea. Anyway you're forgetting the somewhat important detail that she's literally an SS officer, and one of the most ruthless at that.
I'm not saying it's a good plot decision, I mentioned that earlier. I am saying that it wouldn't be unrealistic. Not everything needs about the Rebels in a rebels show however. Andor is good because he wasn't really a rebel and had his own motivations aside from the loft ideals we as the audience couldn't understand. And because we saw that there were people working against them, that they were competent and successful in doing so. That is drama. The Sequels had no drama. The Drama in the Originals was entirely character centric in a novel and new universe people back then wouldn't have known anything about. An idea needs to grow with its exposure.
The Prequels drama was the fall of Anakin and the republic. The Jedi being competent but just like the empire set in their ways and palpatine abusing that with Anakin caught between the front lines.
I think relationship drama is bottom of the barrel. You can have decent drama in a story without resorting to that.
Rather than have either become good or rather anti-Empire, probably the most interesting thing to do is having both Dedra and Syril end up mutually reinforcing each other's commitment to what they individually perceive to be the goal of the Empire. If they have doubts or issues with the Empire it sees them become some sort of Imperial moderates or reformers but, still very much committed to it and accordingly passively or, if pushed, actively willing to do horrible things for it.
For me, it's smirkfu
ON PROGRAM
I really hope this autist pressures her into having sex with him like Jake Gyllenhaal's character did with that milf in Nightcrawler, but I doubt Disney has the balls to do that
Both of them have autism, it's the perfect match
( Dedra panting )
Dedra:: You?
Dedra:: How?
Syril:: You were in trouble.
( Dedra Panting )
Syril:: Syril.
Dedra:: I knew that.
( Dedra Breathing heavily )
Dedra:: I should... I should say thank you.
Syril:: You don't have to.
( Dedra panting )
i cant wait till he realizes he isn't evil like her and has to make a choice.
He is the sort of person that walks down the path to hell with good intentions. When challenged he will doublethink and doubledown. He will justify acts that he would otherwise be opposed to through reasoning they are required for some greater good and if he does not stay the course then any previous 'necessary' amoral/immoral acts will have been in vain.
I really hope he doesn't join the rebels in season 2. His whole character is set up to become a space nazi because he believes he is saving the galaxy.
>His whole character is set up to become a space nazi
it really isnt. he has always been a do-gooder who believes in the system and law and order. He doesn't know he works for fascism yet. Hes like your average american NPC who dreams of being a cop to help people.
Nah, he's the kind who will bring the galaxy to its knees for the sake of order because he believes he's doing the right thing.
assoka
>boring cinematography
>boring camera direction and editing
>boring writing
>has a cartoon teir story
Andor
>is the opposite
>is undeniable kino
>is brutally anti fascist
>will go down in history as one of the best Star Wars things
The show is pretentious, middling and extremely pedestrian. Looks ugly, bland and doesn't feel like Star Wars at all. All the magic and wonder are gone. It tries to be 'adult', but comes off as juvenile instead, i.e. a character saying 'shit' — this is what Star Wars has been reduced to. The dialogues are tedious and dragged out. The writer is definitely an egocentric graphomaniac. It has "literary" quality at the expense of coming off as artificial and forced. The pacing is terrible. The episodes often just end abruptly without concluding anything they set out to do, including the finale. Main character is a charisma vacuum Mexican, who dies in the spin-off prequel where he was introduced — and where his entire character arc happened. Other characters are just as dull. None of them behave like real people, they all take everything over-the-top seriously, which comes off as automatons going through the motions the writer requires them, and not how organic, real people talk or act.
The fanbase is extremely obnoxious, no better than TLJgays. They don't even like Star Wars, they just like feeling smarter than they actually are. Any shill andor thread is basically this:
>YOU ARE NOT MATURE ENOUGH FOR THIS MATURE STAR WARS FOR ADULTS!
>THIS IS THE BEST STAH WAHZ SINCE ESB!
>YOU JUST WANT PEW PEW!
>YOU ARE A PREQUELgay!
>ACTUALLY STAR WARS WAS ALWAYS BAD!
>RIAN JOHNSON/TONY GILROY ARE ACTUAL DIRECTORS WITH TALENT!
>YOU WANTED LUKE TO BE A MARY SUE WITH NO CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT!
>GO WATCH HIM CHOP CHOP SOME ROBOTS AND BRINGING DOWN STAR DESTROYERS LIKE A MARY SUE!!!
Very obnoxious.
All in all, generic and bland story with no novelty of themes and ideas, that should never have been told. Just like Rogue One ruined the Death Star and Darth Vader, this keeps ruining it even further.
>doesn't feel Star Wars
Stopped reading after that, I doubt there's anything to be gleaned from the rest. Let me guess? It lost the wonder that entranced you as a child, it was boring, it didn't feel this and that....
A bunch of non arguments that rely on subjective ambiguities, not worth my time
It doesn't feel like Star Wars because it *isn't* Star Wars. Star Wars is a Flash Gordon-inspired serial adventure for families, a mythological fairy tale distilled into a space opera format. It has a sense of wide-eye wonder, the aliens, the goofy music, the silly robots, the big space battles, yes - the lightsabers, the force, the princesses, and desert shaman, the evil guy in all black choking people with his mind, the humor, the charm, the goofiness the actual spirit of an adventure film made for families. Andor is none of that. It's a generic sci-fi NBC drama in space london. It has nothing of Star Wars, other than the occasional usage of legacy memorabilia, such as Stormtroopers, TIE-Fighters, etc.
>Star Wars is
A cool looking Space Opera so as Andor and Rogue One
>so as Andor and Rogue One
They're ugly piles of shit, sorry.
>MG-42 is good
.Stg-44 is bad
Cope harder
Andor is a spy thriller, a character drama, a prison drama and maybe some other stuff. It's absolutely not a space opera.
>opera cannot be dramatic
Andor fills all criteria of Space Opera genre as much as OT and PT
The fact that you think drama is what disqualifies Andor shows how little you understand the space opera genre.
the guy is an absolute moron, just trying to get (yous)
andor is the heart of star wars, its george lucas political beliefs, its THX1138, It's the struggle against tyranny. its WAR.
Nothing has ever come close to Star Wars true nature as Andor has.
It's a soulless commie propaganda junk that lacks any and all artistic and aesthetic value. You're also a non-white subhuman, who can barely speak English.
Didn't take long for you to devolve into an incoherent jumble of buzzwords. Nice meme btw I'm sure it'll take off anyday now
Didn't ask
Honestly the best Star Wars movie someone could make now would be something completely different. A spiritual successor. All the stuff you mentioned but not restrained by being in the same universe.
It is what our Zeitgeist demands Star Wars to be. Stars is more than the Originals, more than the Prequels. The Sequels fricked that up, just like Marvel movies and current media does in general. The Sequels were probably more Star Wars than the Prequels and Clone Wars and so on. That is what made them shit. We're not in the 70s anymore, and our culture clashes with 70s culture and Zeitgeist HARD.
Cyberpunk 2077 was a kind mid game but the setting does fit the Zeitgeist (and it totally isn't like Cyberpunk 2020, the original inspiration). It is frick you Marvel movies in a shit fricked world where we're doomed to take the worst. That is why Blade Runner 2049 is so successful. These media probably didn't make use of botted ads (like we saw recently with a movie so forgettable I had to look it up, Barbie and Oppenheimer, and now with the Napoleon netflix show), but appealed to our Zeitgeist and were used as memes, as symbols and picture in communication. Their worlds are alive because they not only appeal to us, the fuse with ours, they overlap.
By the time of Andor and the construction of the Death Star the Empire has been at its height for a while and can only come downhill. It is practically already falling. It is falling like Rome did when they had to change with the times, when the institutions changed so much that the capital could be moved from the eternal city. It is transformation because truly nothing ever falls and is destroyed. There is no good and evil in that way. We live in radically transforming times and have lived through multiple crisis. I have seen no hero save the day and there will be no such hero, just as there is no villain and no evil. Times change and the change we experience, live through every day which informs our Zeitgeist cannot have the day saved by Mary Sue. That is not something which appeals to our sense of what is right, to our morality and sense of justice, to what we see as freedom even. It spins in a vacuum.
>doesn't feel like Star Wars at all
What the frick are you on about. The series is 100% like WEG-RPG era novels and short stories, down to literally using elements introduced in WEG RPG like Imperial Army grunts to make Stormtroopers seem elite. The story could quite literally be written by Timothy Zahn or Michael Stackpole for some short story anthology only there'd be Talon Karrde or Booster Terrik popping up somewhere.
1990s Star Wars novels was half Skywalker fanwank, half gritty swashbuckling operators / spies going against the Empire that was clearly evil but could still have three dimensional characters.
Y'all only know Star Wars from Clone Wars or New Jedi Order at best and it shows.
Mind you I'm not saying Andor is great, it's pretty decent and the world feels alive in a way none of Disney Wars series feel, some good acting from Syril and a few others too, but the culmination feels artificial and Diego Luna is a charisma vacuum.
But "not feeling Star Wars" is a moronic argument.
Star Wars is George Lucas not your shitty EU trash or whatever it is you are referencing.
>Star Wars is George Lucas
It hasn't been just George Lucas since The Empire Strikes Back, try again.
>1990s Star Wars novels was half Skywalker fanwank
Fricking hell thanks for reminding me. The Skywalker-Solo family were like the centre of the galaxy in the EU. But I guess since the EU was built out of the movies and Luke/Han/Leia were at the centre of the movies, it's a natural extension.
Anon, star wars has a world that pro ides room for other stories as well, it's evolved well beyond the flash gordon-inspired serial stuff, you can have both. It's a big galaxy
NO! It's has to adhere with my specific feelings and needs. My interpretation is law, frick everybody else.
Kek but really I see that post so much in andor threads. You cant deny that it's grown far beyond the oroginal premise, it's a waste of worldbuilding to not do anything with that
Trandorgays are exactly like this, but the opposite.
I dont see that. People are saying that both can exist in the same universe
No, they say that Star Wars is shit, and Trandor is how it's ackchyually supposed to be. Which is why they are fundamentally wrong: Star Wars is what it is, and Trandor is a deviation and not Star Wars. Star Wars shouldn't adhere more to be like Trandor, Trandor is supposed to be more like Star Wars and stop using the name for brand recognition to shill their PG version of Blade Runner.
if you want your imaginary villain to exist in your head thats fine, just try to male a post without thinking about trannies and it might come off less unhinged
>PG version of Blade Runner.
Really curious to see if you can elaborate on this far-reaching analogy
gilroy isn't a fan, meaning he's not a onions consuming funkopop collecting dave filoni moron when making his kino...
Most of the production crew for the original star wars thought they were making a joke, this even included the main cast. Being a fan isn't a prerequisite for making quality, this should've been obvious from day 1.
>star wars has a world that pro ides room for other stories as well
Not him, but that is not true It's a big galaxy full of virtually nothing. Star Wars is small as frick. Andor is one of the most refreshingly new things in the universe, so new that some people complain it's not like Star Wars enough. And yet, at its core it is STILL just rebels vs. Empire. That's all Star Wars has. Rebellion and Empire. Sith and Jedi. You can tell a FEW minor side stories but you'll always be limited because the truth is there is just not that much in Star Wars.
>That's all Star Wars has. Rebellion and Empire. Sith and Jedi. You can tell a FEW minor side stories but you'll always be limited because the truth is there is just not that much in Star Wars.
ok Rich Evans....
I hate those RLM homosexuals as much as everybody else. But he is right on the specific point that Star Wars was never conceived as a universe or a setting. It was one very small story. Andor works because it focuses on one element of that story, the Empire, which just so happens to be all-present in the Star Wars universe. You can tell a story about the Empire without bringing in lightsabres and Luke and Boba Fett.
These people play in shit all day. We don’t share the same “wide-eyed wonder” and “fun.” Just look at all the gays in this thread.
You’re an idiot.
Kenobi did more damage to Vader as a character than Rogue One did.
>All in all, generic and bland story with no novelty of themes and ideas
That's a bit harsh. It's generic yeah, but bland? There's some really great character drama there. And yeah it does feel very different from the Star Wars we're used to but the OT was very limited in scope anyway. If you try to religiously adhere to the source material, you will only limit what you can do.
>All in all, generic and bland story with no novelty of themes and ideas, that should never have been told.
Found the fascist.
This is why I come to Cinemaphile. I'd be genuinely terrified of this woman. Cutthroat girlboss who has something to prove and is void of any positive emotions is much more threatening than an Elon Musk impersonator.

I don't know how I can go back to star wars now, broskis. Andor is just... so good. The rest of star wars banal poorly written kiddie shit pales in comparison.
Rouge One and Andor are literally the best Star Wars. Finally, Star Wars for adults that is not embarrassing to watch. Everything else is fricking embarrassing. Honestly, go watch A New Hope, or even Empire Strikes Back - dogshit dialogue, hokey acting, shit action, goofy ass cringe shit all around, quips. Nothing on the level of Stellan Skarsgard or Andy Serkis. Nothing like impeccable Gilroy's tone and atmosphere. Star Wars is a dead fossil, and it needs to be rebooted. And Tony Gilroy is the right man. Everything else is fricking dogshit and terrible. You know I am right.
Let Gilroy remake the original trilogy and go from there.
Decanonize everything else except Andor and Rogue One.
Seriously, who wants this dumb shit?
Stupid ass MCU quipping teenagers taking down the Empire? A farmer boy? Fricking moronic kiddie garbage nonsense.
KK can redeem herself if she fires everyone except Gilroy and his team and reboots Star Wars to proper standards (such as Rogue One and Andor).
Hereby, I declare official Star Wars canon for mature sophisticated adults with taste:
Andor
Rogue One
3/10
It's funny how this post
is entirely correct.
gays like
prove it
the prequels could have been great, with good writing.
but now we have morons that think star wars isnt star wars if its good. I watched this moron that's friends with Star Wars Theory literally say this.
I’m not reading all that but anyone with a positive opinion of Rogue One immediately loses any credibility. This has convinced me to not give Andor a chance, so thank you for saving me a few hours.
Congrats on falling for bait
Whenever I check out these threads they always seem to be inhabited by a schizo who needs to get new material.
same. Theres legitimately one or two guys that are so upset that andor is a superior show and post the same things everytime. They probably subscribed to star wars theory and browse r/prequelmemes
What gets me is there are things to actually criticise the show on however, they don't make meaningful criticisms. As a result of their posting any good faith discussion of Andor's flaws becomes impossible as it gets drowned out, derailed or polarised. More than anything it just comes across as sad that there is one or two anons so angrily obsessed with a show that they samegay spam a thread on a Danish model train enthusiast website.
Blandor is utter dogshit. And it is telling that morons who gush over it hate the actual Star Wars. But Blandor is like that: it appeals only to midwits, who consider themselves superior to the actual Star Wars, yet deep down they realize they are too stupid for actual cinema, television and literature. Which is why they have to settle down in the middle — "smart" Star Wars. But in reality, it is inferior to both, and it is nothing but joyless, pretentious, ugly drivel that adds absolutely nothing in terms of narrative or themes. Utterly irrelevant, pointless, needless story, without a single creative bone in its body. It's revolting. All you need is characters talking constantly without actually saying anything, and a bunch of forced, cringe, emmy bait monologues to make midwits lose their shit. Embarrassing.
Actual Star Wars has infinitely more substance and depth than any culturally irrelevant thing Disney and/or (heh) Tony Gilroy have come up with in his career.
Hi Rick
Prequelgays absolutely frothing that star wars doesn't actually have to be power rangers
Trandor wishes it had even a fracture of the PT's brilliance. Reminder that any single frame of TPM alone has more soul, creativity, depth, artistic quality than the entirety of Trandor.
What's with posting when it comes to Andor? Does it live rent free in the head of anon/s? Is a lot of it bait?
Why did they swap hats?
they are into fashion, and understand what hat should go with what outfit
A message was inscribed on the inside
It's easier to recognize your own hat in a crowd.
Great show
Thrawn was only ever good in the trilogy he was first introduced in.
>Matt Smith
>Ysalamir not on a nutrient frame
Begone, pleb.
Its shit art I agree but the point stands regardless.
so cute
>The amount of people seething just at the mention of Andor.
>Really makes you think.
yep
this is more star wars than the prequels ever were
It's because you OTgays limited your view of Star Wars to constant Empire/Rebel slop.
Andor has:
- The Galactic Senate as featured in the Prequels
- Coruscant
- Clone Troopers as from the Prequels
- Separatist Ship from the Prequels
But it doesn’t have super heroes like Ashoka and Sabine with lightsabers to kill all the bad guys
>- The Galactic Senate as featured in the Prequels
Where is Mas Amedda, the speaker of the Senate? Where are the aliens in the Senate? Empire IS formerly the Republic, and the majority of the Senate shown in the PT were ALIEN WORLDS! Most of the STAYED in the Empire! Palpatine's SPEAKER and a right hand man was an ALIEN! Why does it look so fricking ugly? Glib fascismile.
>- Coruscant
Looks nothing like it. Coruscant never had brutalist architecture.
>- Clone Troopers as from the Prequels
Some fatass cosplayers, kek.
>- Separatist Ship from the Prequels
Which makes no sense whatsoever, as the flashback take place before the war and the declaration of CIS...
You are moronic or dishonest.
This is the scene in the Senate. There are aliens. And obviously the speaker is not always going to be there.
Coruscant literally looks the same. And why would the planet-wide city exclude one architectural style?
Clone troopers look the same. Better than in Ahsoka actually.
The flashback makes sense. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Transpo_corsair
>This is the scene in the Senate. There are aliens.
Where?
>And obviously the speaker is not always going to be there.
You are a dumbass. How do you think the Senate hearings go, moron? Senators just randomly coming in and ranting? They have to be OPENED. Palpatine doesn't attend anymore, because he doesn't give a frick. But Mas Amedda DOES. BECAUSE IT'S HIS JOB. That is CONSISTENTLY seen in all of the Star Wars works set in this era. Except for this one. Cause it's shit. Just like they never bothered showin Mas Amedda attending to Mon Mothma's dinner, despite saying he will.
>Coruscant literally looks the same
It doesn't. Looks absolutely nothing like it. Go boot up the PT and see how it looks.
>Clone troopers look the same. Better than in Ahsoka actually.
Nah. They look like a bunch of fatasses. Which Ahsoka live-action clones did too. CGI clones looked superior.
>The flashback makes sense.
No, it doesn't. Andor was supposedly a member of the CIS, but it makes zero sense since the members of the proto-CIS killed his entire village. Why would he ever join them? He wouldn't. His CIS background was entirely retconned, as was his "I was in this fight since I was 6 years old" as he was much older than 6 in the flashback. Before that, he was just living in the jungle like a monkey.
>Where?
Hahaha you're fricking moronic ahahaha. Literally 99% of the characters in that scene are aliens.
>brief cameo that didn't add much to the story
>planet added into Return of the Jedi
>brief cameo when technically should've been first generation Stormtroopers according to Bad Batch
>brief cameo with human Separatist soldier instead of battle droids
Very much the absolute bare minimum.
170 replies and 42 posters.
There is basically one highly committed fanatically Andor hater, responsibly for most of the hate posts.
They where here back in the day as well same images/memes, same posts, word for word. eg trandor, blandor.
I have to say even as an Andor fan , their passion and work ethic is exemplary.
My friend was in charge of the whole building process for the prisoners, teaching them the routine and stuff and the design of the props there themselves
Have to say he did a great job
>Have to say he did a great job
I agree. Tell him thank you for me.
He did also do some of the work on the space AKs so I told him I thought they could have used some more work
He told me to get fricked
Also said he did a Gollum impression when Andy Serkis was right behind him and the guy wouldn't speak to him until the wrap party
Nice broken English. How come all the andorgays on this board are non-white? Oh, right, it's a show about an illegal Mexican being persecuted by the state for his crimes.

I did a life drawing class once and the model proudly declared he just finished work as an extra for Andor season 2. Apparently he gets shot by a stormtrooper, nice guy.
imagine talking to a naked man about andor lol
I guess I'll have something to add for his wookepedia page
one of my favorite scenes from Andor is when Cassian leaves with Luthen on his ship. When he looks at Luthen in the pilot seat and it cuts back and fourth of Cassian as a boy watching Maarva fly the ship. So god damned kino.
The music is excellent in that scene.
The music I really liked was what played when Andor got told his mother is dead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oklum8DLaWs&list=PL_2m5sLOhDdu3PLkshR0tZ6rHCAOvn8qb&index=78
CLIMB!
>The music I really liked was what played when Andor got told his mother is dead
yes! It is perfect and that scene always gives me chills. I wonder if they composited those clouds with the god rays shining through or if it was actually real.... and just natural kino that they captured.
Andor was the best Star Wars Disney ever produced. Without question.
Holy cuck wars!
Are you going to celebrate with I nice tall glass of soilent?
>ON PROGRAM
Andorsisters WIN AGAIN
only reason Andor turned out as good as it did is cause Kennedy and Dave Filoni had nothing to do with making it cause they were busy with mandalorian and Ashoka.
the only reason its good is cause the 2 people in charge of running star wars did not touch the thing you cant make this up. how the frick do star wars geeks cope with this
>how the frick do star wars geeks cope with this
By b***hing at Filoni and praising Gilroy, there's nothing else we can do.
>only reason Andor turned out as good as it did is cause Kennedy had nothing to do with making it
Holy cope.
you stupid homosexual she never touched Andor but since she is the head of luaus film she gets her name on what ever she wants you absolute moron capeshit geek
cope and dilate
Is that Ellen DeGeneres?
Gilroy thinks about character motives.
Filoni thinks about memberberries and his Donut Steals.
Andor is grounded, which the OT mostly was, whereas Filoni wars has become far too mystical and "prophecy" shit, with force pushing now spammed 24/7 and leaping 100ft being easy for Jedi.
Gilroy is an Original Trilogy respecter
Filoni sucks off the Prequels
>Gilroy is an Original Trilogy respecter
No, he isn't. He doesn't like Star Wars at all and he has no reverence for it — he said it himself. And Andor has absolutely nothing to do with the OT. What an asinine thing to say. You gaylords are delusional.
>you stupid homosexual she never touched Andor
holy fricking cope hahahahahahahah lmao
>but since she is the head of luaus film she gets her name on what ever she wants
then where is her name on rebels, bad batch, tales of the jedi, etc? lmao
the only reason Andor exists is because KK wants to have sex with Diego Luna
>He doesn't like Star Wars at all and he has no reverence for it
you are a troll
>“I’ve never been interested in Star Wars, ever. So I had no reverence for it whatsoever. I was unafraid about that,” said Gilroy. “And they were in such a swamp … they were in so much terrible, terrible trouble that all you could do was improve their position.”
>“It doesn’t appeal to me,” he said of making another Star Wars film. “But I don’t think Rogue really is a Star Wars movie in many ways. To me, it’s a Battle of Britain movie.”
https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/star-wars-rogue-one-writer-tony-gilroy-opens-up-reshoots-1100060/
>Reverence =/= Respect
reverence (/ˈrɛv(ə)rəns/) noun: reverence; plural noun: reverences — deep respect for someone or something.
Hahahahhahahahahah. Nice self own, homosexual. AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHA
Andorgays have got to be the single most delusional part of this fanbase.
>then where is her name on rebels, bad batch, tales of the jedi, etc? lmao
and yet Gilroy made the most kino star wars we have seen in decades. Its almost as if we should ban funkopop fanbois like Filoni from making star wars
>and yet Gilroy made the most kino star wars we have seen in decades
Can I see it? What is it called?
So he wasn’t a huge fanboy according to that quote? What’s the issue? Filoni is a huge fan of Star Wars and he’s producing non stop shit so what’s your point?
>claim he is an OT respecter
>he doesn't care or respect Star Wars at all
>proceeds to strawman
lmao you gaylords are absurdly ridiculous
he does though, he is a researcher. He understands the heart and soul of Star Wars better than pretty much anyone.
Then why didn't he put the heart and soul of Star Wars into his slop?
>>then where is her name on rebels, bad batch, tales of the jedi, etc? lmao
probably cringes at the thought of attaching her name to shitty cartoons for 5 year olds
Concession accepted.
>s-she is the head of the company bros! her name is e-everywhere!
>e-except here, b-because reasons, o-ok?
How pathetic.
Yes, Kathleen Kennedy had a direct involvement in making your "kino." Live with it.
she has been around in Hollywood for decades why the frick would she demean herself by putting her name onto your gay kids cartoons? I can see her wanting her name on Andor though cause its not like a gay kids cartoon.
does it trigger you she knows when something is kino and when something is shit like your toons?
>G-GUYS SHE TOTALLY WASN'T INVOLVED IN ANDOR YOU GUYS! I-IT'S JUST THAT SHE IS THE HEAD OF THE COMPANY, TRUST ME!
Your "kino" is executive produced by the same woman who executive produced the Star Wars Sequels, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Book of Boba Fett. Enjoy 🙂 It's hilarious to see you squirm like a little worm.
show us some pictures of her directing and making andor you fricking moron. some c**t sitting in California and signing checks by her mansion pool is not the same as making a show.
Of course you're an anime watcher.
>reverence
>Middle English: from Old French, from Latin reverentia, from revereri ‘stand in awe of’
>respect
>late Middle English: from Latin respectus, from the verb respicere ‘look back at, regard’, from re- ‘back’ + specere ‘look at’
There is a distinction there you ESL moron. have a nice day.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/reverence
>he keeps squirming
Let’s see the proof Black person
>He doesn't like Star Wars at all and he has no reverence for it — he said it himself.
Reverence =/= Respect
Try again, moron.
>shows up at premier of show produced by luaus film
SEE IT WAS ALL KK SHE IS THE GODESS THAT MADE THE SHOW ALL HER!!!
why are you sequel trilogy fan boy homosexuals so moronic holy shit go watch the Avengers for the 200th time you fricking idiot.
I’m surprised by the amount of gays defending Ashoka in this thread
Same, I am not even a star wars fan but Andor is incomparable to this clown show
I love how they now have to make every imperial character including lowest ranking officers cartoonishly villain and brainwashed (despite the fact that empire existed for like what, 20 years?) and the empire commiting completely irrational, random and ridiculous acts of nonsensical cruelty just to constantly remind the audience that NO YOU CAN'T LIKE THE EMPIRE OK??? EMPIRE IS LE EVIL SEE? ANARCHY IS GOOD!
>and the empire commiting completely irrational, random and ridiculous acts of nonsensical cruelty just to constantly
thats what nazis did, and what chuds love to do now to mine salt from the left.
>Ahsoka fans angry their show was straight up garbage so they proceed to shit up everything else
>Thrawn Redditors actually think fat blue man is threatening
Makes me wonder how Tony Gilroy would've written Thrawn.
He wouldn't, because he is a blue alien. That's too silly for him. AT BEST he will include some ugly formless ST-tier blobs in the background in a scene or two.
He wouldn’t because Thrawn is a shit character and yeah he was shit in the books too, fricking Filoni gays
Depends whether his hands would be tied with having to deal with Thrawn being in another galaxy. Thrawn being in another galaxy and having to get him back to the main one is going to be a shit story whatever whoever does. If he was given free hand than, in what I think most people would have done, something about Thrawn being in the Unknown regions - though that, as with all the stuff in the Sequel era, probably ends up being tainted with all roads leading to the First Order.
This
is the starting point to your question. Are we talking about Thrawn being introduced for the first time or is he having to build off a Thrawn that has already appeared?
>Are we talking about Thrawn being introduced for the first time or is he having to build off a Thrawn that has already appeared?
First time, rebelshit is off the table.
The way he will be written will come down to what situation Thrawn finds himself in - a Thrawn that is Admiral when Palps is still around is going to be different to a Thrawn that is a Imperial Warlord post Endor. You really need to pin-down whether it is OT or post-OT era. Thrawn's saftest place is maybe in the OT era as that avoids the Sequel
problem however, the problem with Thrawn in the OT era is it removes the Imperial warlord aspect of EU Thrawn that is a part of what people like about him. Whatever you do I think Thrawn in Disney canon is always going to be disappointing for his fans as the Sequels nab or make incompatible much of his character and story through the First Order.
Andor is a shit character no one gives a shit about.
Speeches were tryhard, forced and cringe.
Mon Monthma's storyline stalled and became boring incredibly fast. No actual politics. The b***h was just sitting at home with a sad face and bickering with her awful family. I felt sadder for her when she said, "Many Bothans died to bring us this information," than throughout the entirety of Andor.
Saw Gerrera was just a cameo and really had no reason to be in the show.
Luthen's action scene with the lightsaber ship was garbage and utterly pointless, did not affect the story in any way, because he goes to Ferrix on the next day for some reason, despite being established as a cautious person. He had no reason to be there, because he had already dispatched two deadly assassins after Andor. He went there, because the writer couldn't figure out how to get Andor and Luthen together. And the only reason Andor found him was because conveniently Luthen parked at the exact same spot out of all the places on a fricking planet.
BE TOO EMO is cringe, forced toybait, much like BB8.
Flashbacks were useless shit.
Retconned Cassian's "I was in this fight since I was 6 years old" Separatist background, making the character even less interesting than he was before.
Useless filler incel clerk storyline that is absolutely pointless and will not lead to anything substantial.
Lots of empty, pointless Emmy bait talking that reads like the writer jerking off.
Dogshit pacing and structure, episodes often just end abruptly without achieving anything, no sense of finality or hook to most of them.
99% of the show was humans, and 90% of them had London accents. Almost no aliens. So much for rich and diverse Star Wars galaxy.
Doesn't look/feel like SW.
Absolutely devoid of fun and adventure, dull and exhausting. Pseuds confuse dark and serious for joyless and tiresome, which is what the hacks like Nolan and Villeneuve do.
Plebs really were tricked into thinking this shit is any good, it's hilarious.
I can feel your seething through my screen. Go outside. Take a deep breathe. Calm down. It's okay.
He can’t help it, he loves all the Disney slop but this one deviated so much that he took it personally
Trandor IS Disney slop. Are Trandorgays the single most delusional people on this board?
>KK TOTALLY DIDN'T MAKE IT YOU GUYS!
>I-IT'S NOT DISNEY!
hahahahahahhaa
The filonislop mediocrity has rotted you brain. Seek help.
>NOOOO not my heckin ashokarino
Filoni gays are something else
I still implied it was Disney slop you fricking ESL Black person
Usually won’t read posts this long but this confirmed my suspicions of this being a show for trannies and jannies.
Gilroy said in an interview that he was given a budget and almost no oversight by Disney and LF and it shows. imagine if that homosexual foloni and KK bothered to meddle in Andor.
>baby yoda cameo
>mandalorian Cameo
>CGI Harison ford in background
frick knows what ways they would of fricked up the show if they bothered to have any involvement
A poor substitute for my wife
>cassian's sister plotline
>dropped and never mentioned again
>was never relevant in the first place
>lord of the flies flashbacks
>absolutely pointless and irrelevant
>CIS ship with weird gas that crashed on Andor's planet
>was never elaborated on
>Cassian's CIS background
>retconned
>I was in this fight since I was six years old
>retconned
>diversity dykes
>irrelevant and useless
>syril plotline
>irrelevant and useless
>Mon mothma plotline
>dragged out, irrelevant and useless
>Saw Gerrera - two scenes, did nothing
>irrelevant and useless
>Luthen dumb enough to come to Ferrix for some reason
>after he had a run in with the Empire
>Cassian is suddenly a revered member of the community for some reason despite being introduced as a con artist who owed everyone money and who was no good for anything
>WE HECKING REBEL RISE UP ACAB FRICK DA POLICE DUUUUUUUUUUH
>why was Ferrix even mad at the Empire?
>because old lady told them to be mad at them
>remember Deth Star??????!
Is this the best written SW show?
's sister plotline
and never mentioned again
I don't get that complaint. Should he have mentioned her every 5 minutes?
>star wars
He should’ve given them all lightsabers and made them kill 100 stormtroopers each and then had death maul show up so they could have an epic fight where no one dies
Needs Ahsoka and some wolves.
>Goy Wars
>this will sell our show
this is what filoni is at all times... let that sink in
watch the full scene moron
That's even worse.
>one ship is able to successfully frick over Imperial patrol frigate and a squadron of TIEs
>never to be seen again in the franchise
>more so, goes on the same ship to the Imperial occupied planet on the next day
top kek
>>one ship is able to successfully frick over Imperial patrol frigate and a squadron of TIEs
that supposed to be because the captain of that ship is overconfident and lacks real experience, which mirrors the same themes about the empire that run through the show
i do agree it was poorly handled and the action is laughable, but one bad sequence doesn't ruin the show, though it provides convenient fodder for seethers to tunnelvision on to
That entire scene feels like something forced on the show. It's like some drooling moron suddenly entered writer's room and started screaming how they need space battle.
It definitely was, need to keep all the Star Wars shill YouTubers hyped so they can make funny faces and promote the show
Ahsoka last episode has literally the same scene but 10x dumber.
>Canto Bight was mentioned in Andor
>Canto Bight was mentioned in Andor
mentioned dismissively as a shitty place where degenerates would want to go
the Andor haters seething in this thread is epic. the show mind broke millions of fricking losers who bought baby yoda toys
To be fair, The Mandalorian is the second best Star Wars show. Well, it was before Filoni doubled down on ruining it.
It's so funny that the only good SW shows are the ones with a literal nobody MC and the moment they make a show about known characters they are utter fricking garbage.
>It's so funny that the only good SW shows are the ones with a literal nobody MC
This also applies to Cal in Fallen Order to a degree.
>the moment they make a show about known characters they are utter fricking garbage
It's almost as if Filoni can't write characters or dialogue for shit. The only reason The Mandalorian was even passable was because Jon Favreau created a character that barely talked and just did some cool shit.
that's also how A New Hope was with this nobody teenager living on a moisture farm
Jon Favreau can't write for shit. He wrote 90% of the mandalorian, including season 3 and book of boba fett. He is a fricking moron who is more concerned with getting his buddies into acting roles (Gina carano, Sasha banks, jack black, lizzo)
Favreau is an utterly soulless simpleton, and it can be seen in the mando behind the scenes.
This whole Filoni will save Star Wars meme was spread by clone turd shills. None of his cartoons were ever good. They have some good scenes but 5 times more trash.
This is rebels. Not clone wars. Clone Wars was made by Lucas. And it was good. Better than any Disney slop.
Filoni was heavily involved with TCW. It's all shit. Robot Maul. Looney tunes superweapons. Ahsoka shilling everywhere.
>Filoni was heavily involved with TCW
And? He didn't have any creative power. He has no writing credits on any of the episodes in its original run. The show was Lucas'.
>It's all shit.
It's not. By far and far better than any disney slop. The last good Star Wars.
>Robot Maul. Ahsoka shilling everywhere.
Lucas and Lucas.
>Looney tunes superweapons.
What superweapons? lol
I hate that Filoni has even made Star destroys are complete non threat
Nothing is a threat. Blasters do nothing. Turbolasers do nothing. Lightsabers can't kill people. Ships shoot at each other for 20 minutes and nothing happens. Mines can't even hurt fricking whales.
Filoni made return of the jedi?
>executor is pummeled by Akbar's fleet after 'concentrate all your firepower on that super star destroyer'
>after extended bombardment executor finally has small window of vulnerability at the command bridge
>rebels attempt strafing run and one manages to get through
how is this 'no threats'
>rebel fighters manage to
Yes it's a stupid scene but at the very least it was a large battle and Ackbar told everyone to focus fire on the Executor. Here it's one X-wing flying around a whole fleet wrecking shit in a comical way.
I was more referring to this, but its good to know you're a Black person who doesn't understand context.
>all the shots missed, admiral!
>just as planned
>Filoni manages to make Thrawn a loser by complete accident
Kek
>direct impact from a quad heavy turbolaser made to directly engage capital ships just makes a x wing shake a little and spark
lol
They can't even kill two fricking big dogs running through open field.
i used to think the worst thing to happen to star wars was the sequels, but now I understand that it was the cartoons. Because now those cartoons are live action, and soon to be movies. There's no coming back after handing Star Wars over to Filoni. Its Over
There is no coming back for this franchise anyways. It's dead. Ahsoka just had it's big finale and it's barely top5.
people over the age of 12 watch this garbage and post on this board thinking their opinion matters
>Filoni can't write characters or dialogue for shit
>Jon Favreau can't write for shit
>Gilroy thinks about character motives.
BASED
the first season was ok but it went to fricking shit when they tried to make it a big impactful show tied into luke and shit like that.
All the live-action not made by Lucas is shit. Mandalorian was a simplistic bland filler: the show.
Half of the movies made by Lucas are also shit. This entire franchise survives on OT fumes.
OK, moron.
>This entire franchise survives on OT fumes.
Not even, the entire franchise is being held up by The Empire Strikes Back.
That's because this version of Thrawn is a complete joke. Last two episodes of Ahsoka were Boba finale bad. Just fly the fricking ship away from the fricking tower holy frick.
Also Andor was still a 7/10 show but that's still about 2x better than average Disney shit.
>Last two episodes of Ahsoka were Boba finale bad
yep, so much this
I’m not disagreeing that I was underwhelmed by the “finale” and found it mostly predictable (but seriously what the frick is even going on with Baylan and Shin in their last scenes?),
but isn’t the reason Thrawn couldn’t just fly the ship away was because he was waiting for some special unknown cargo to be fully loaded?
>but seriously what the frick is even going on with Baylan and Shin in their last scenes?
What do you mean? It was obvious. Didn't you watch the show? I swear, I guess people can't understand the story with forced 5 minutes monologues that spell everything out.
>with forced 5 minutes monologues
without*
Disney Star Wars is simply not Star Wars. Simple as. And Blandor is shit as well.
haha this thread was derailed so fricking fast by people seething over andor ahaha
Its actually pretty impressive how gays can love ashoka so much and then hate andor
prequel gays never would have been star wars fans if the prequels didn't exist.
Pretty much any thread that mentions Andor will do that.
For me its the Ferrix passenger Shuttle.
looks like it'd make a cozy RV
imagine if Dave Filoni used a penis tower to penetrate that. fuuuuuuck bros im so hard
> ONE WAY OUT
>... I can't swim.
kino scene
If you think any woman is ever threatening, I’m sorry but you’re a homosexual.
