From the very first episode Franxx was lame as hell; waifugay shit everywhere and a cast of characters straight out of the lamest isekai bullshit. Other characters only there to be buttholes to the protag and his waifu and cause pointless stupid drama. Mechs were awful corny bullshit. World might as well have been any other Trigger "wacky mystery setting where no one tells you anything wooooo"

Franxx has more in common with magical girlfriend stuff of yore with a bunch of accompanying wastes of air, I seriously don't get the point of the rest of the kids besides trying to trick people into thinking it's a ensemble cast.
