tbh pregnancy scare Dick had with Shawn shouldn't have been a fake out. I believe DC should've given Dick a kid then.
Plenty of people amicably co-parent so it's not like Dick would have to be with Shawn, and DC will never let Babs or Kory get pregnant and take them out of action, especially Babs. It would give Dick new storytelling opportunities and would give him two supporting cast members people couldn't just throw away in favor of making their own. And even if a writer wanted to ignore the kid it could easily be explained as Shawn being the main cavegiver with Dick helping out occasionally so Dick doesn't look like a complete deadbeat nor would he look insane for crimefighting while having a baby.
And it's already something different from all of his friends so he wouldn't be coping any of them

She was in the King Shark mini, where she had been sent to jail/on the Suicide Squad for graffiti or something. The mini was actually quite fun.
But ultimately she's Seeley's OC and not Babs so she's going to be in limbo until Seeley writes something else that's feasible for herto show up in, I was kind hoping she'd show up in the City Boy book since that was set in Bludhaven for half of it but whatever.
When both Batman and Nightwing have kids, DC has a "our characters have become too old" problem. That's something for an Earth 2 continuity, not the main one.
That sounds like a personal problem, I don't care if the heroes are old.
It's been the consensus for over 80 years that these characters shouldn't get too old, at least in the mainline.
The only issue at play is them constantly aging up Damian and even he still works with a Bruce in his early 40s.

Early in the New 52 they explained Damian being as old as he is by saying his age was accelerated in a tube because Talia didn't want to deal with the early childhood years.
Grandpa Bruce should never be a thing in the main Earth. Not unless DC is willing to double-down on a middle-aged Batman who's slowing down as a hero.
