I haven't seen any star wars because they look boring as frick but the other twists weren't that cool. I was just like "hm oh," the twists weren't mind bending OMG reality changing twists

Psycho is a masterpiece, Sixth Sense was obvious since he gets shot in the chest, Se7en was amazing and Star Wars was pretty mediocre but has some good moments

the crimes were based on the seven deadly sins and they introduced the detectives wife for no reason, it was absolutely obvious and spoiled the movie for anyone with half a brain.

I liked the one about the kid who could see dead people, the rest was meh, that said, i was spoiled about Darth Vader so i'm biased about it
Psycho 2 twist is exceedingly better and just an overall better film.
Se7en is shit. The plot twist relies on the killer breaking his own pattern of killing the sinner according to the sin.

6th Sense was surprising, but I was a kid when I saw it.
I'll admit Sixth Sense got me because I went in not knowing anything about it or shamalamadingdong. Looking back I feel foolish for getting tricked. Se7en, however, was well done and earned it, and although I had a suspicion that's what it was, the whole movie ended in a very different way from what I expected. I was born way too late for Psycho to be a surprise so I can't say. Star Wars is for children and manchildren.
Yeah it was obvious SOMETHING was going to happen to her, but I was trying trying to figure out how the whole sins thing was going to play. It was close to the end before I put it together.

David Fincher had Empire Strikes Back as one of his top movies.
He was a kid back when it was released. Same as everybody who rates it.
Put it this way, Kubrick has American Graffiti as one of his top movies, as does Fincher. Only one of them was a kid when they first saw it. George Lucas is a kinographer, get over it.

You had to be there. They were great at the time, especially the Sixth Sense one. I was too young for the Vader twist, allegedly the revelation stunned the audience. I believe it.

I remember being confused by the twist in The 6th Sense because I remembered the scenes with him sitting around with his wife. Didn't notice that his wife never really responds to him.
Sixth sense twist was pretty good back in the day. It's just everybody knows what's up now, even people that never seen are told about some big twist at the end and can pretty much imply what it is at the beginning
seven doesn't have a plot twist, you're supposed to realize something is fricked when he walks into the station

Star Wars straight up lies to the audience about Luke's father being a good guy Jedi who got killed by Vader and there's really no hints whatsoever that Vader is really Luke's dad. Audiences couldn't have expected it, there is no way you could predict that twist
And Sixth Sense deliberately makes it look like Willis is alive.

I was so young and SW was such a part of the culture I must have heard “Luke I am your father” misquoted so many times I doubt it surprised me. I don’t even think I saw the films in sequence.
Sixth Sense everyone at school was talking about it so I still haven’t seen it but I know the entire plot.
Psycho surprised me. Don’t know how I made it to where I watched that film in high school and didn’t know that he was cross dressing as his mommy.
Se7en was a good film I saw when it came out. What shocked me was Pitt’s character even hesitating before he immediately should have killed John Doe.
Speaking of Kevin Spacey, Best twist ever for me was Usual Suspects. But I was a simple minded kid at the time so it might not had the same effect on me as I got older.
