Did anyone ever actually like this? It had to have had SOME fans to keep running as much as it did, but I seldom hear people talking positively about it.

one of those shows you watched if it was one. not an amazing show but it was solid enough for a kid to watch. Had some decent humor. No reason to talk about it. There's a million dumb kids shows like this.
About half the reason you even talked about the show was either making furry jokes or just pointing out how the writers stopped giving any fricks after the first season, like with the robot episode.
This show is inoffensive and just fine. It's like Foster's if Bloo was slightly less of an butthole and Mac was more of one. A bit less funny too.
Completely average in every way, very little to talk about. Like said, if you watched this, it was just because it was on and you probably had an alright time. You probably never sought it out or thought about it on any frequent basis. It was just fine.
I actually enjoyed Sheep in the Big City.
I also enjoy sheep in the big city, I think the naming of general specific and his crew are the funniest wordplay bits in history
This, in the era before the "popular internet" people just kinda put up with watching things they were not that into.
>show is written by a woman
>it's shit
lol
This is the last show I'd expect to be written by a woman
Well it was created by a woman. As for writers, it had several.
Damn, no wonder Adam was such a whipping boy
It was created and written by a couple.
it was ok. 6/10
It felt more like a CN show than the others were. Everything else with it felt like it shouldve been on the Disney Channel. Foster's was its own league, but I hate how it always experimented on how annoying they can make a character
I loved it. There's just nothing to discuss online. It has no politics, lore, coomer shit (at least for me) or any exploitable meme.
>hear people talking positively about it.
That's not a good source of measurement if a show is good or not.
That episode where the Gazelle nurse wanted to /ss/ Adam
She was one of the few reasons I didn't mind that show.
I liked it, especially how it got a little meta in its writing towards the end of the series.
Also Adam stripped down to his underwear a suspiciously large amount of times.
>adam is voiced by the best va in existence
kino.
Nika Futterman?
mhm
Giraffe girl
I liked the giraffe whose entire joke is that her neck is so long you either never see her body and head in the same frame or if you do her neck is off screen somehow. But yeah it was the definition of “meh”. Not so bad you’d immediately jump to a new channel but not so good you’d be waiting for it to come on. Its a show you watched when it came on and you had nothing better to do
>"my gym partner is a monkey MONKEY MONKEY MON-"
>change channel
>my gym partner is a monkey MONKEY MONKEY MONKEY
>stay and watches the channel
I thought the prank phone call "this is principal pixie frog" bit was good
I liked watching it as a kid, but it must've been the budding Cinemaphile autist in me
MAAAAN FUUUME!
my jam as a kid. don't know why all the animals wanted to frick Lyon tho
Dude wears cologne with animal pheromones in them, no duh they want to hump the shit out of him
MAN FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUME!
WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AT?
I laughed during those scenes
Who remembers the Predator cameo?
I only watched it for the occasional hmofa scenes.
It was crap.
You had to be very stupid to like it unironically
>Cool premise
>Great worldbuilding (making a school animal-friendly)
Show had a lot of potential but was ruined with the constant toilet humor (one episode even pokes fun at this when Jake's buttface joke is no longer funny). Also Adam's voice was so annoying
The 2 games on the Cartoon Network website were the best thing
>constant toilet humor
That's an exaggeration. There's like 3 episodes that focus on Jake's butt, 2 of them aren't even presented in a gross way. The rest are just small gags.
I just remember in the early 10s watching this and thinking "can this show please fricking end so Adventure time can come on?"
Dime a dozen shlock to fill dead airtime, like Johnny Test, Iggy Arbuckle, or George of the Jungle. I hated it then and I hate it now.
I didn't like it, but I didn't hate it either. For me it was a hair below Camp Lazlo, which was also pretty average.
The show would have been better without a persistent monkey sidekick. Adam should have just had adventures with a different student each episode.
Reminder that Adam turned down consentual giraffe tongue
I didn't know why people keep saying the 2000s had no LGBT representation when Adam is the gayest main character ever conceived for not tapping that.
The first episode gave me a specific fetish.
I like it, for the most part.
I actually liked it but it was never one of my favorites. I haven’t seen it in a long time so I don’t know if I still like it.
