I saw the first "season" and found it charming but a little too kiddie at times (the chillions did NOT need two whole episodes). Haven't gotten around to watching the second batch
>And then there was space Wakanda
God I hated that. Mom should have been a wanted freedom fighter or a space pirate or something. No, she had to be a warrior princess.
The kids ruin it for me, they are so annoying and bad I just want them killed at times. They are told a million times about danger then they will do exactly that the girl boss daughter is the most annoying to me and she's cute which makes it so sad I hate her.
if the focus was on the dad and him trying to protect his kids, it'd be great, but it is very much geared towards and from the POV of the children, so it's just... a toddler show. It feels wasted.
>The villain will be a seemingly threatening foil to the dad who will then constantly be bested by the kids or more specifically the little girl because the contrast of big scary monster and whipsmart little girl is apparently still clever and original in the year 2021. >The dad puts up a tough front but is actually a teddy bear who can't hurt anyone for fear of making his kids think less of him. Either that or he's an outright coward with a maligned reputation that only makes him seem badass on the surface. >The human lady is either the kids' mom or aunt. Either way she's the true moral anchor & cool person the kids look up to. Probably the most bland of all since she's basically just a generic role model, maybe second in command to a staunch or authoritative white guy at the start who's too close minded for his own good. >Alien girl is the decoy antagonist. Probably working for the main squid villain but has her own secret agenda and cliche tragic backstory. Will develop a soft spot for the kids, and is not as much of a hardass as she appears. Ambiguously gay until finale or publicity a boost is needed >The little cat things are either sentient beings from some planet, or dumb little pets. Regardless, they're meant to be merchandise. >Drone/robot thing will be either sassy, deadpan, or a kind of cute pet like character that communicates in twee sounds. >Little boy is a sensitive pansy because that's apparently still clever and original in the year 2021 >Little girl makes gadgets that are unconventional and possibly ripped from sci fi of her world if the show starts out on vanilla ass earth. >All guns are non lethal or all the enemies are conveniently robots.
It's Neflix
No

I think I liked the first season more
But its a fairly solid show
What’s wrong with the second season?
Nothing wrong exactly, but sidelining the dad for most of the season was a little boring
And then there was space Wakanda
>sidelining the dad for most of the season
Oof, I already didn't care for how prominent the kids were in the first season... Nnnot a good sign.
Show shoulda been in 2D
No. Dad looks cool Kids mascot and mom look annoying.
Sell me on it.
ehhh.

looks like a fine show for young kids.
Good, cuz that seems to be the target audience

I'm still mad the main alien chick wasn't at least hot or something. Wasted potential
Sad that I have to delve in the realm of fantasy and sci-fi if I want to see an actual black father
Why is there a Ben 10 villain on the poster?
