I liked the first season, but they would lay it on thick sometimes with how cool Jack Reacher is. He shouldn't be able to advance the plot by telling a character he had a lot of sex in high-school or by the reflections on shoestrings. The fact that he is a white guy who isn't a manlet or written to be a total embarrassment was enough.
