Underrated
Barring the first live action movie, this is the best one
This does have some character arcs, and also has the characters calling each other by nicknames (thus making them feel human). More than can be said about the Astro Boy film by same studio.
the main story was meh, the main villain was meh, but the scenes put together really fun and its really great when you see the real story being about Raph and Leo
yeah, it had real potential the a plot was meh but I wish it got a sequel in fact I wish Imagi didn't collapse I liked there style of 3d

They should've done the Gatchaman movie first instead of the Astro Boy one. It would've been more profitable.
The only good scenes were about raph and leo. Everything else was super forgettable.
This movie was such a turd. It wasn't offensively bad, but the script felt like it was written by people who knew nothing about the turtles and were given single-sentence descriptions of all the characters. As most people will say, the scenes between Raph and Leo hold up well, but that's about it.
It has the best Leo/Raph fight, Mako as Splinter, and Donatello and Michelangeo having those particular day jobs makes some level of sense, but the antagonists were weak and that unfortunately drags the movie down to mid.

What's interesting is that it's the only adaptation that attempts to imitate Volume 4 ear mirage's status quo, or at least post Volume 1/2 that was the Tales era.

That's the guy who was originally the director of Astro Boy film. It was going to be a "hard PG" film with him at the helm. Unfortunately, Imagi later had the brilliant idea of replacing him with the Flushed Away co director. Everything went downhill afterwards.
I thought it was good but apparently the oldgays hated it because they didn't understand the plot.
